  1. That's interesting. I wonder if their study showed the new phenomenon of blacks with lower scores being accepted and whites with higher scores being rejected.
  2. The rest of Europe should take a leaf out of Poland's book.
  3. What benefits does marriage offer over civil partnership?
  4. Capitalism is the only vehicle to freedom. Socialism is inherently evil.
  5. Another problem is online gambling and underground lottery
  6. Yeah, I offloaded my gambling nutcase EX to an older richer farang. Glad she's in the rear mirror.
  7. It depends. For manners and mentality, probably Japanese. For looks, SE Asian is fine, but perhaps Latino or black would be preferable. For a proper relationship I'd probably say white - preferably anglo background - irrespective of whether she's from Australia, Europe, Canada, America, South Africa or whatever. But it's highly subjective, of course
  8. While I agree with you that he's probably not a qualified electrician I can also inform you that virtually every fully qualified electrician in the West has had a little buzz once or twice in their careers.
  9. The link you posted to the police website clearly states the acceptable reasons/purposes for the certificate and the supporting documents you need to show to get it for your purpose ???? This thread was supposed to be about using an agency to get it if you do not fit into one of the accepted categories or if you do not have the supporting documents to fit your purpose. I used bold to highlight that because I didn't get a single answer that was on topic.
  10. I started this thread before I contacted agencies, obviously. I wanted to know the process from other who did it before. However, I copped a lot of flack from guys here who weren't aware that you could use an agent or who thought you could just walk up there yourself and get a certificate without an acceptable purpose.
  11. According to the Siam Legal website the document from the special police department only declares that you do not have a criminal record in Thailand. You can check their website for this info. And they do act as an agent and they fill out the form and submit the application on your behalf. I dunno how they get around the employer/embassy letter requirement though. Other agents offer this service too for about half the price of Siam Legal. They also arrange an appointment (date and time) for you to just go there for finger prints only. No queueing up. The officer handling your case is waiting for you.
  12. This link that you posted clearly shows the specific cases they will issue the certificate for and it clearly states the required documents for each case. But if you do not fall into one of those categories you can get an agent to assist in getting the certificate. That's what this thread is about.
  13. The police website clearly states you need a letter from employer or embassy etc etc. When did you do it on your own? I think you could just rock up there yourself years ago, but not now. I know when my school does it every year for our African teachers they have to write a letter for the teacher. He can't just walk in there with just his passport without a letter from employer.
  14. He changed his religion and used that as an excuse. Pull the other leg mate. Lol In any case, bone spurs is a better excuse than religion. Irrespective of that, why should you need an excuse? What about Human rights? You don't wanna fight, you don't wanna fight. No shame.
  15. The 3-4 week waiting time is the 100 baht option The express service is 6-7 days for a couple thousand. Ain't no way they are doing anything with your embassy in that time. I could do a record check in my home country, but it takes weeks
  16. Not true. You need a letter from an institution requesting it (Thai employer, embassy etc etc)
  17. Agents can get it done for a big fee, otherwise it has to be at the request of an institution. It's just a Thai record check. It doesn't involve your embassy.
  18. Nonsense. You cannot do it yourself. You need a Thai employer to request it or an embassy or something like that.
  19. I'm not following. My question starts by acknowledging that this is usually done by the employer. Then goes on to ask about agencies that can do it it. The title even asks for agencies that do it
  20. Who are his advisors? Didn't Hunter just get off? I haven't heard that. I think Patriotism is a positive thing
  21. So, if he can't join the draft he shouldn't be able to exercise? Was the he a professional tennis player or something? Muhammad Ali dodged the draft. Let me ask you something: do you agree with the draft?
  22. No, the list goes on with Biden. - He's always sniffing and touching kids on camera which I find unprofessional at least and disturbing at worst (I once saw Trump mocked for the way he drank a glass of water with two hands - along with many other things - but why no gossip about Biden?) -. His daughter's diary and the abuse - His son, Hunter, and Biden's alleged role in his illegal business deals - He is clearly senile and unfit of his role, incompetent actually - His support of all the gender transition surgery including minors - How he has handled the Ukraine thing
