  1. Thaivisa can be wild sometimes can't it. Keyboard warriors: give me blood! That wasn't entertaining or satisfying enough!
  2. It's an occupational hazard that should be expected and they are trained to deal with, armed & equiped to deal with, and should be able to handle professionally like these fine officers in the video did.
  3. It truly is a phenomenon, the number of immature farang on here that idolize Thai thugs and village justice.........in particular when it's against another foreigner, which seems to be especially gratifying and entertaining.
  4. Well, he's in his early-mid 60s now. Is that a boomer? I think so. In any case, the Thai girls love him throwing his cash around on them, yet I am sure he knows greater hardship than they do.
  5. Well, the Thai cops are not afraid of a kid with a toy. The British cops just arrested an autistic kid for saying the word, "lesbian" There you go. Such high standards
  6. The guy was pathetic and they treated him as such. No need for anything else.
  7. What is this driveling? The officers treated him as the low threat he was.
  8. There's nothing heavy about a skateboard. They treated him according to the low threat he is. They exhibited good judgement
  9. It wasn't a crowbar, it was a toy. They knew they were in control. They acted like professional men, officers of the law. Props to them.
  10. Please... The police treated him perfectly. An angry kid with a toy. They were never in danger.
  11. Yeah, but they certainly knew poverty in their childhood. Their adulthood was certainly easier than the generation nowadays, particularly regarding buying a home
  12. I dunno. My dad is a boomer. He grew up in a family with 9 siblings in (what was once) a slum area with no indoor toilets. He didn't even have long trousers til he was 12 (living in a bitterly cold part of Europe). Surely that's harder than a lot of Isaan people's lives, no? Don't most boomers know poverty? The economy was not that great in the West back in those days, nor was sanitation, infrastructure, healthcare etc. etc. Christ, my mate lost almost all his siblings to Diphtheria, like 6 of them. Boomers know hard times. A sick buffalo ain't the greatest hardship.
  13. By "looking down on them" do you mean: buying them drinks, giving them tips, buying them gifts, marrying them, buying them a car, taking care of their family, building them a house, and allowing themselves -naively - to be fleeced of everything by the cunning of the poor village girl?
  14. In all fairness, it sounds like you do nothing.....but that's not an insult.... I'm jealous of your lifestyle.
  15. Ah yes, the farang-haters crawling out of their nests for this pile of rotten garbage.
  16. Well, I think the pride movement has gotten a bit out of hand in some places. Wasn't there a state recently that passed a law making it so that minors couldn't attend LGBTQ events (due to the level of nudity and adult behavior)? (Interesting, they called off the event because minors couldn't attend, rather than going ahead with it, adults only) I have nothing against gay people, but I totally support this kind of conservative law. (And obviously I would support it if it were against straight people too, jeez) I mean, I wouldn't want my kid walking into a strip club or BDSM/fetish club for straight people (or gay people) And unfortunately some LGBTQ events are like that. You could - and probably would - call that homophobic, but I don't think that's fair to say. So, why would Malaysia want to ban the rainbow movement? Maybe because they don't want these issues - that I described above - in their country.
  17. What's bigoted about saying, "go woke, go broke" when talking about companies jumping on the woke bandwagon and therefore losing customers? Who exactly am I being bigoted against? You are very quick to throw insults around, Jingthing. It should be possible to have a discussion without spewing your favorite insults at the drop of a hat.
  18. While I don't actually agree with Malaysia and other Muslim countries on this topic - and I am certainly not homophobic - the UK just arrested an autistic girl for saying a female police officer looked like a lesbian. If that's considered okay in today's society, then - by the same logic - surely Malaysia has done nothing wrong with this rainbow watch thing.
  19. Please don't try to persecute me. I'm feeling a little persecuted right now
  20. Tell that to Bud Light and the other "go woke, go broke" losers
