If you were alive during the years these advisors to Trump were there, you must have buried your head in the sand like to mention the proverbial ostrich when confronted with anything different. These were people he "wanted" around him because they were some of the best at their former jobs and many of them probably thought they could steer him away from the errors but to no avail as he doesn't ever see any error that he cannot blame someone else for. If elected again then deep kimchi as we say for the citizens of the world. IMHO anyway

Also, unless the DTA specifically says "government or civil service pension" it may not be taxed only by that government. In the DTA for US I believe it states only that the civil serve/govt pension is taxed ONLY by the US govt and that state pensions can be taxded by the tax-resident govt. I haven't read any DTA's other than that of the US but have seen mention that the pensions of some countries are not taxed ONLY by that country but can be taxed by the country of tax-residency. Hope though, Thailand does do as the PI does, that is does not tax pensions of any kind is what I have read, making it a very attractive retirement location once a country begins taxing worldwide income.

That is probably due to the desires of the individual about going through the treatment. After my father's first treatment for prostrate cancer, he told me that if it came back he would not do anything except die before treatment as the treatment seemed to him to be worse than the cancer. He died 3 years later at 76 years of age. His hospitalization insurance paid for the initial treatment and would have paid for this recurrence too. But as long as someone has medical insurance doctors and hospitals will treat them. If one doesn't have insurance they might forgo the treatment too due to the cost.

Well, IMHO, based on everything I am reading lately, and recognizing that it is more than likely TRUE in every sense, I agree with top researchers including in the forefront Dr. William Li, a well-known Harvard trained heart specialist, researcher, and scientist - that yeah, genes do cause some people to have certain diseases but only a small percentage while the majority of the causes of all the major diseases including heart, cancers, alzheimer's/demenia, diabetes, is poor DIETs. This is a big pharma and big FOOD industries that want people to be sick so that they have to take drugs to cover up the symtoms, and food that since the 1980's has gone from natural to machine made. Chemicals unhealthy for the human body, are used to color and alter the taste of products. These have been shown to be unhealthy for a long time i.e. seed oils/trans fats - have been known for over 20 years to be unhealthy and cause of cancers! yet only recently did the US FDA outlaw it somewhat. Researchers are finding cures for diseases but based on food which has the necessary nutrients/chemicals to defend against and cure some diseases without side effects even and researchers are finding with surprise that the natural defense is much better. In many cases, they are still recommending one to follow the doctor's orders but since the natural foods don't cause any side effects, they actually enhance that drug too. But, skin cancers, lung cancers, and some other disease is most likely caused by lifestyle - smoking, tanning etc but that is also well known yet people still smoke and still get sunburned regularly. Matter of choice - now we have a much better choice and I suggest that people if possible should read the two best sellers by Dr. Li and diets/foods for healthy living. The books are available in BKK. Best of health and luck to all.

I am a former (now retired) government worker , with 4 years military and 36 years civil servant, plus did work for large manufacurer for a couple of years - I saw many incompetent workers in every job ever had, even to the point where prior to leaving the military, I was sent to co-write my job description and training needed for such and that finished product was immediately accepted by the highest level although it increased training by 2 additional weeks at a time when training time was told to not increase. I noticed especially, some from my generation but increasingly more during each new generation of people. To me they appreared to be lazy and felt that they were "entitled" to do less for more money or rights. A sad story on society of today as this is my opinion.

This is exactly why a thorough investigation should be done on the Arizona licensing office - either the software or intentional failing to assure all that citizenship must be clearly marked if that is to be used for voter registration. Check also the registration officials and offices if narrowed down to just one or two. Too many corrupt officials today, just look at the one's that actually get caught and then picked up by the media. Scary for sure what polarization in our elections is destroying our democracy. As we lose that, we will begin to lose freedom for sure. This is my opinion anyway.

Earned income although taxed in one's home country even if that country has a DTA with Thailand, may still be taxed by Thailand if that person is also a tax-resident in Thailand and tax credits can be given for those taxes paid in one's own country but if the Thai tax is higher than that paid to one's own country, the higher amount could also be paid to Thailand i.e. if your country tax on your earned income is 20% but that income is higher in Thailand and the % is 10% higher, then you might have to fork over an additional 10% to Thailand. That is why one must read their country's DTA to see which country exempts any income from foreign taxes or if the tax-resident in a foreign country must pay secondary tax too. Best to read all the documentation from the revenue department of Thailand, where one can also find all the DTA's and read that for your country to get a better understanding. If still not fairly sure, check with some of the tax agencies as they might give a shore (15 minute) free consultation and some advertize tha they will figure your tax situation free but when doing the tax forms, will then charge you. Good luck.

3 year old Thai girl sexually assaulted by foreign man in Phuket
Presnock replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
Well, based on what I read in the article, the local officials should be able to identify this animal easily since he has been partying with the auntie and others for some time apparently. Need to string this guy up for a while. A 3-year old....bad enough if adult is raped but for such a youngster to have her life probably destroyed mentally. But too many Asian countries and others don't seem to be bothered a whole lot about RAPE. Maybe because I have 2 daughters I am extremely unforgiving for such a SIN. But I do believe that everyone should be against this animal trait in any person. -
I checked the Revenue Dept webbsite, google RD tax alerts etc, regarding this issue.,...as for same year earned (post 2023) the RD linterpretation of the tax law only says that even if an elite's income has been taxed already, when remitted into Thailand that person is required to file for taxes too in Thailand and can be offered tax credits for taxes paid in one's home country. So, seems to me that thre is no special exemption for the elite visa holder when it comes to taxation on income. Since the elite holder also more likely has a higher income, the taxing percentage could be lower in another country as oppo Thailand so the holder might have a Thai obligation too.

If you truely believe that, find any story about any previously wife of a presidential candidate being paid to attend a rally. She is just a gold digger from the gitgo, a paid "escort" for the rich brought into the US and grabbed a real idiot. I would definitely like to see how much she is being paid just to stay with him now. She is no better than KH, a toy for the rich politicians.

especially since he claims to be so anti-immigrants...also he claimed that he was outlawing "chained migration" where the family of a sponsored person also can immigrate legally - (except for convicted felons) at the same time he allowed Melania's parents to immigrate too (father was a convict). But Trump feels he is above all laws anyway so in his ind he can do no wrong - try to find sometime when he admits to any wrongdoing.

In addition as noted, it states that if your country has a DTA with Thailand even that earned in this the same calendar year is exempt - I think that they believe that the individual paid taxes on that income in the country that has a DTA with Thailand. I could be wrong but it sure seems strange that they even brought up the taxation bit. ANsd, we must recall TIT and next year might be worldwide income taxation and it will be interesting to see how they handle all the exemptions if they are still valid. Best of luck to all.

Because less than qualified (lots of reasons, laziness #1)people fail to do their jobs in a professional manner. This attitude and perfoirmance is the main reason so many citizens do not appreciate govt (all levels) employees! That is my opinion anyway. On top of that, whenever someone writes an online registration of any type, it should be all inclusive of necessary details. If a driver's license is used for voter registration, then a citizenship question should be part of the online registration - 98K for sure in fault! What a stupid error for no reason. No wonder so many MAGAites believe all that Trump says be it true or false. And yes I am well aware, she is no better than him. We the citizens will be the losers again! That is my opinion too.
