    The Hilton area is like going to Nana now. Bad attitudes and rip off. Soi 94 Wonderland seems more inviting to me. But, as a massage shop guy I find HH ok. Met some nice ladies in the shops they are regulars for me when I go. Soi 80 is hit and miss may have to spend a few bucks to find a bar with proper ladies.

    Not correct in every case. Read the decree. It does cover no tax on "remitted" income. If WW tax comes into to play it will not all be tax free. Example: income outside Thailand is $10,000 a month. You remit $5,000 tax free. The other $5,000 would be taxed. LTR visa does not cover all WW income unless all income made abroad is remitted.

    A person would have to be clueless to not realize many people move here to meet younger women. The value to me is worth me staying here and paying some tax to enjoy what this country offers. But, I guess Gottfrid if one does not like women they would not understand the value. So glad that is not me.

    Was not impressed at all with the American guy. When asked about I believe it was ATM and or CC, he said; no tax, just don´t use them too much. ?? What does that mean? Is there some limit in usage or is he a big know nothing like most of these people.

    Isn't part of the culture? Loud speakers in malls sales reps screaming into the microphone. Loud ear piercing cars, trucks and motorcycles, lung shaking music venues and bars. Did you rent or buy? Big reason I would never buy here pay 5 million b for a place, next thing you know they build a bar complex next door. All could careless about anyone's peaceful life.

    Oh sure, they can fake it for many years. I know someone who was with a lady for 10 years. He trusted the relationship finally bought a 5 million baht house in her name. Then, it all went to hell. Many stories like this most women have an agenda. That applies all over the world.

    Yes, how foolish of those people to open their finances to the authorities here. Some bragging how easily they qualified with their 100 k a year income. They definitely would love to tax these high income folks. Good luck, they know now no turning back.

    Bali Hi Pattaya would be a great place. Lots of room there, ocean front, hotels and entertainment. Near WS and Koh Larn transport. Perfect.

    Sadly, I guess many peole can relate, but he seems like a total loser to me especially a financial loser. No stocks, bonds or real estate? At his age in the U.S. barely worth 1 million. I certainly don't trust or believe in a person who could be President that is clueless about personal financials let alone managing the country. Seems like a total stupid man disaster for the U.S. probably has no idea what a dividend or capital gain is..

    How's that? I bet if I went to an office and asked them to check my status in their "system" they would have no record of anything on me. Yes, if you have a TIN you will be in their system. Otherwise, I bet the 100's of thousands of Expats living here without TINS are not in their "system" at all. Ask them for a record of your remitted funds I bet they laugh in your face.
