  1. The price changes all the time on these things. I've bought several things on amazon and a few weeks or months later end up buying the same things again and either the price is up or down. These companies use programs called dynamic pricing, they will adjust price dependent on demand, inventory etc..
  2. it is legal and nothing you can do about it !!! The Thai government approves two tier pricing.
  3. seriously.. this is what you have an issue with?? Nothing more important than this? So, if Biden met with Putin (never would've happened) they wouldn't roll out the red carpet? just insult Putin as soon as he show ups? I guess that's why the Dems are so bad, they worry about what people will think instead of doing what needs to get done! I was a registered Democratic for decades, the Dems have changed which caused me to change.
  4. Did you forget that Palestine has a boarder with Egypt, so why only blame Israel for the lack of supplies entering Palestine?
  5. It's both sides, they hate each other!!!
  6. you're correct, and you can thank the voters for that!
  7. you get the impression? The hospitals have price lists with Thai price and expat price (approved by the government) . So it should be loud and clear we pay more!
  8. if my account was frozen, I would use another bank account that I have, or credit cards, or cash that I keep in the house for emergencies.
  9. you're absolutely correct, it is that simple and that would end the war.. So who is going to make Russia do that.....Norway, France, UK, Canada?
  10. If they are disgusted by this then why isn't Norway trying to negotiate a crease fire or an end to the war the way they would like it to end? Everyone is upset with the results of the meeting pointing towards a peace deal instead of cease fire, but nobody is else doing anything.
  11. You might want to look at that again... 2025 GDP Russia $2.2 Trillion Spain $1.8 Trillion I dont understand your point? how do you think the economy is playing into this? War is about territory not GDP.
  12. What tax increase??? I guess you dont know that if the bill didn't get passed the middle class would've gotten hit with a big tax increase, so we didn't get a tax cut (it extended the tax cut from 2017), but it kept us from getting the big tax increase. Also now no Tax on overtime (not all overtime some of it) No tax on tips (amount limit) and then personal deductions have been increased. I'm happy my taxes aren't going up!!!!
  13. well.. actually it depends on the amount being sent. Smaller amount $1-2K USD yes wise is typically cheaper. However, I recently sent 15K to my Thai bank using SWIFT, the fee was $25 and took 2 days. Wise was going to be $79 for the same amount and the exchange rate was almost the same.
  14. wait... what?? The deep state controls everything including Trump?? So all the things you're upset with about Trump is not really Trump it's the deep state controlling him telling him what to do? Seems you guys are being played and need to go after the deep state (whatever that means) Maybe it's time for some more info wars Mike!
  15. So Putin arranged underage girls for Trump??? How do you know this? were you there? Where's the video or even a claim from anyone other than you that this happened.. or are you just making things up of what you wish happened?
  16. yes, it can be imported now, but since 2003 it was banned.
  17. US beef has been banned since 2003.
  18. you're funny.. The US banned it's meat from entering Australia, how does that work? Australia banned the imports...So yeah, free trade with OZ..
  19. haha..... Ever hear of automation?? Our company has been doing plant automation for 30 years and it's only getting better. I give it another 5-8 years before the burgers at McDonalds are being done by robots.
  20. free trade with Australia??? for decades no beef from the USA allowed, how is that free trade?
  21. haha... you are funny... It's been 8 months and like magic you think the money would start rolling in on day one?? Where was Biden the last 4 year?, I think we saw him on TV 2 or 3 times, investments in the USA in the last 4 years? In the USA between 2020 and 2024 significant investments have been made in various sectors totaling $607 Billion, particularly in manufacturing and technology. Foreign Direct Investment (FDI): The U.S. is a top destination for foreign investment, with a total of $177 billion invested in 2022, primarily in manufacturing, particularly in chemicals and pharmaceuticals. Post-Pandemic Growth: Business investment in the U.S. has outperformed historical patterns, with a $430 billion increase in investment this cycle compared to previous years. Industry Focus: Manufacturing affiliates accounted for the largest increase in U.S. direct investment abroad, with significant contributions from countries like the United Kingdom and Germany. In 2025, the USA is experiencing a significant surge in major investments with investments of $1.8 trillion particularly in: Technology and Artificial Intelligence: Investments in AI infrastructure are reaching trillions, with projects like the $500 billion Project Stargate. Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology: This sector has attracted $231.6 billion in investments, reflecting ongoing innovation and expansion. Manufacturing: Over $1.1 trillion in investments signal a trend towards reshoring and enhancing domestic production capabilities. Green Energy: The focus on clean energy is creating fertile ground for investments in solar, wind, and electric vehicle sectors, driven by government incentives. Overall, the investment landscape in 2025 is characterized by substantial commitments across various sectors, reflecting renewed confidence in the American economy. Hmm, 4 years $8 billion, 8 months $1.8 trillion.
  22. yes, I did accuse other countries of being protectionist since I been dealing with imports and exports for decades. Try exporting products from the USA to other countries and tell me how it goes with the free trade and that everyone but China is playing fair. Where are the restrictions on foreign ownership of companies in the USA? Sure Telecom and Airlines (these are consider security risks). Other countries dont impose restrictions? Thailand requires that a Thai must own 59% of a company, no such regulations in the USA.
