To ensure you get accurate answers to your question your initial information also needs to be correct as well.
sorry if you feel Iam nit picking.
Actually it is a Visa Exempt permission to stay. Quit quibbling with the person.
@BillStrangeOgre the 30 day extension from immigration (from my experience) is usually not a problem. Your problems will come at the border or airport with multiple entries. Staying out for the 30 days was to you advantage. Good luck in you travels. @DrJack54or @ubonjoeare you best sources for info, and maybe @BritTim

Strong or no strong they just don't want him to run for next presidency.
I'm not his fan though????.Actually, they do want him to run. They are counting on the 75,000,000 who backed him in 2020 to rally around him as the persecuted. Then they're counting on the 81,000,000 that got counted for P.J Biden to do it again.

Who do you think makes the rules for Bangkok
He 'governs' Bangkok. He has a lot of say, but he is not a ruler nor does he make the law. I don't live 'in' BKK, but I saw that article. Didn't make any sense to me.

Unusual, most Thais have the aircon on arctic !
You don't know my wife then. She does let me run one in my 'office', but she does not run any A/C where she is in the house. I keep the thermo at 26-27 (25 at night) and she uses 3 blankets. (of course this time of year the A/C compressor runs full time even when on 27, except for when it 'cycles').

I believe a royal pardon is only available to those in jail and can't be given without jail time. Someone here might know more.
Yep, one day is all it'll take. IMO.

Deal's already been settled.
Mostly likely. (and the pardon is waiting)

Once you go MAC, you don't go back.
I tried it and have never wanted a Mac since. (I must admit when Windows 7 was first introduced I thought about it). I don't think like a MAC.

Mostly likely a cargo ship of some kind dumped it's bilge and that's what's made it to Samui. ***
*** just saw Tropicalevo post. He is more likely correct. He researched it. I made a conjecture.

I think the biggest difference between Thaksin and the others is that Thaksin made it so obvious in your face. He didn't even try to hide his crimes. He did them in broad daylight and thought he would get away with them. And in a way he did get away. He wasn't prosecuted or convicted at that time because nobody dared to do it. That's one reason why the coups happened. If the police and prosecutors and judges don't do anything, what other option is there?
...
Well, stated. And they can claim political crime all they want, but some were blatant money or land grabs.

Many just don't want to let it go
Well, spidermike, I agree, but you and I have lived here long enough to remember that the brag was Thailand was already wearing mask because of the pollution. (I still wear them in Big C and the pharmacy so 'they' won't call me a dirty farang). ????????

@LuckyG I think you are inquiring about something similar to this. A judge in Buriram established a precedent in 2020 in which a common law marriage is recognised in Thailand and have the full rights of marriage. I think that sort of fits into the "Life Partner" definition that you're looking to discuss.
https://scandasia.com/danish-man-wins-lawsuit-against-thai-wife-for-not-sharing-assets/ It says Thai wife in the title, but there had been no ceremony nor registration at the Amphur (Ampoe).

It's been many years since I've purchased any, but Maneeya Drug Center in the Maneeya Center Building off the Chit Lom skytrain station stocked it at that time. Call and ask, 089 887 7707

@djayz Are you trying to find one to sit on your desk to hold your business cards, one for you to carry with your business cards or something to hold all the business cards that you receive from sales and services people?

Trump judge and his family receive threats after New York arrest

This is absolutely despicable behavior. I don't care who they support. To threaten a judge and to also threaten his family pisses me off. I hope they're found and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
