  1. Is that a pic of your toot? 🤣 Looks funny to me. I do know how you feel. I've got a 'growth' high on my leg, which I 'know' what it is. Maybe we should attend the Institute of Dermatology near Victory monument and get them sorted. (I think I've got a lipoma on my back. That'll be fun... One/some day).
  2. Well, shucks, Simon. I thought you were on to something regarding 'our' toes. I hope you've solved your problem with this diagnosis. As for me, I'll just continue to try and not grip the ground with them and building calluses on the ends of the 3rd & 4th toe of my left foot. (It all started when I picked up playing golf 25 years ago). We do have some ugly feet. I was working a rig a few years ago and most people wore flip flops or crocs in the quarters. One man (on my management team) had some of the straightest long toes I'd ever seen. I didn't know men could grow such toes. He was Australian, so I notched it up to living bare foot or wearing flip flops near the beach all his life. 🤣 Lucky dude
  3. I've taken Alprazolam (aka Xanax) in past. It gave me some weird dreams 75% of the times that I used it. That stopped me off from asking for more. 10 baht per pill? I'd be extremely suspicious even though it came from the Doctor. (But who's your Doc? I'd like to get some Lorazepam (aka: Travan, Antivan) that cheap). 😂👍
  4. No kidding. I'll even knock the price down to 300,000 baht, but I'd need at least 200K before I'd start (due to lack of trust). (I've been duped by Thai owners in the past.)
  5. Maybe the Gazans (or more specifically Hamas) should have thought about the retaliation before they attacked on October 7th and the women, children and old men of Gaza celebrated in the streets. The only solution after all the incursions from Hamas since 1948 is the annihilation of Hamas. Israel has warned the Palestinians each time prior to their attacks. Maybe you should be questioning why Egypt won't allow the Palestinians through the Rafah crossing to safety.
  6. I hadn't thought about this, but this movie may have been a major catalyst for all this bull dung.
  7. Well said, @KhunLA. The doctors of today are eat up with the nonsense and rather than approach gender dysphoria as mental illness they now jump at the chance to make them lifetime medical patients tending to their augmentations along with the pills to maintain their identity hormones, etc. They'll be pill poppers for life. They should be treating their mental problem, which is what dysphoria is, not affirming their illusion of being in the wrong body.
  8. It appears to me that the real culprit is the tourist's home country and the low standards that they have for issuing their travel documents (aka passports). Name them and shame them. If they're from the US, we'll just blame it on the Republicans or the Democrats. Doesn't matter which. They'll both just ignore it. (Reminds me of the really fat guy that flew here a few years ago and convinced the flight attendant to wipe his dirty end. May he RIP)
  9. Makes it perfectly clear why Israel have declared the elimination of Hamas and those who want to annihilate them. After all, it's war. The BBC and the other MSM have always been against the Israelis.
  10. I would guess a sting op. And, I'm sure she was 'operating' in the same manner as the women in Kuala Lumpur do. They target a man who is seemingly alone, approach, complement, chat him up a bit and then asks if he'd like some company... 1 thing leads to another with a negotiated price.
  11. A drop of 0.18 baht/USD is not a weakening. That's just the normal ups and downs of any currency market. Or even B 40/$. I'm glad to get the better exchange rate, but really... this was no weakening.
  12. I read the definition from John Hopkins Medicine, but still not sure if that's what I had... I hope you can find a podiatrist near you. I had severe pain in my heels when I was 8 yrs old. My heel caps had detached from the heel bone. We had to drive about 70 km to attend a doctor. He would tape up my feet to pressure the cap up to the heel and it enabled the cap to reattach without invasive procedures. Good luck with your situation. I remember that it was very painful, but the heel was healed in about 6 weeks.
  13. I take exception to this 'statement'. I think you'll find a higher percentage young men (and women) who are probably much more condemning than the old guys. After all, many old guys drove vehicles back in the day when 0.15% was the drunk limit indicator and were still very able to walk and drive. (following instructions is another matter completely). Then it went to 0.10% and now in many places it's 0.08%, maybe lower in some places. I don't keep track of it. But, it's not nice to single out us old boomers, dick.
  14. What's the AFP? Apologies for my stupidity... IMO, it's hard to call it a "theory" when all the evidence leads to the lab leak.
  15. And yet, others listened to this admonishment of Dave Smith deemed that it was very effective. These people who have not been there and have not studied the history of the conflict are not credible. IMO. I do not find Douglas Murray to be dishonest, but then I agree with many of the educated opinions expressed by Murray. Obviously, you do not, which is your right (at least here on AN and in the US. (Would it be hate speech in the EU & UK?)).
  16. Mute point now. There is no sad emoji anymore, but I am glad to see a thumbs down. But, no worries, h-fan, I didn't leave any emoji. I thought it was better to comment. 😇
  17. Absolutely, if it was free. I'd even buy ticket if it was less than USD 50. (what would be my limit? Hard to say.)
  18. Yes, one has to wonder about countries like Russia, Iran, Canada and China and what their futures will be like when those leaders and government style is over thrown.
  19. Good for them. They were have some fun and hamming for the camera.
  20. I know how you feel. Fortunately, I'm from Texas and they're still voting with a lot of common sense, but the idiots are leaving California and many are coming to Texas. There is much to be concerned about.
  21. His books may be fiction, but Stephen Leather has been writing about the direction that Britain is taking and the social ills for many years. The politicians chose to ignore it. Diversity is not a strength. You have been mislead (as many in the US are) and have given more material to the fiction writers that is too close to the truth.
  22. Hum... Could be my soon to be ex-wife. 😂🤣
  23. IMHO, no. In fact, I quit drinking once I realized there was no more work for this old oilfield fart. So many of my friends left and I already had a house up around Lam Luk Ka. There's still plenty of opportunities, but I just don't choose to imbibe. Sometimes the guys who live around me will have a dinner party and I'll have a few glasses of wine. That's it.
  24. Ok.... Why? Are you singling out Brits? I've had some very good British and Scottish. (I am sad that Richard Smith will be lamenting another Brit in the news again. I think the same way if they're from the US).
