for myself ROI is not an issue efficiency and reliability are, as i am off grid but not even going to question your numbers lets just say they are good over 10 years that is just 1,575 baht a month which absolutely fits into typical use of an 18K BTU -
Cannabis Shop Owners Plead with Government Over Drug Reclassification

The worst part of all this are all the other benefits the plant provides since the US made "medical use" legal if you just go pay for a medical card (scam) the old arguments of why weed should be legal has vanished and it has turned into recreational vs medical and all other commercial uses are now ignored Thailand could have been the front runner for bio degradable plastics, sustainable paper, non-toxic paints and so many more uses than just "recreational" or "medical" *the medical industry do not want it used for medical, as it would stop sales of many of their products "PRODUCTS WHICH CAN BE MADE WITH OR FROM CANNABIS medicine, fuel, paper, food, rope, maps, clothes, nets, lace, soap, sails, shoes, plastics, explosives, caulking, fiberboard (MDF), paint, sealant, methanol, gasoline, fibre for fuel, bricks, charcoal, auto bodies, packing mass, lubricants, oil for lighting, oil for fuel, oil for lights, animal food, furniture, mats, varnish, lotions, ointments, lacquer, salad dressings.... There are an estimated 50,000 commercial uses. Until about 100 years ago almost all the world's bibles maps, sails, clothes and books were made out of cannabis. Much of the world's population has survived by eating hemp seed, cooked into a porridge called 'gruel'." -

the series i posted, the 18k BTU has a SEER of 25.60 which is a very very significant increase whether you see quick ROI depends on usage but each to their own obviously top of the range of more expensive established reliable brands are not for everyone as you clearly point out -

What about those who choose to be weed farmers or sellers? seems like it is a little late, but all these changes are likely preparing for CBDCs where they can collect tax on every transaction in real time -

"best" is not very specific there is a lot of difference between models of the same brand so depends what you are looking for for best i would suggest the new Daikin Max KZ series These are the most efficient Aircons currently afaik https://www.daikin.co.th/en/product/FTKZ-YV2S -

Advice needed post extension retirement funds
patman30 replied to sup3r1or's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
try to ignore the fearmongering posts and listen to DrJack first things first replace the funds just so they are there easiest option your dad has, was option 1 at some point in, exit the country without a re-entry stamp come back in and start over you know the process now, simple as that that is all you need to do -
no mention of breakfast or not but just drinking early will not make you drunk quick (empty stomach or not) as it depends on how much and how quickly you consume and if you start drinking early but do not drink to get drunk but drink very slowly and continue throughout the day you will be able make it through the night better and appear less drunk even though knocking them back so drinking earlier can actually make you less drunk
