Can this coronavirus be spread through hand to body contact, for example, from getting a massage?
Asking for a friend.
Important question to avoid an unhappy ending!

It appears to impact those with a weak or compromised immune system. So if your ill or getting on in years not a bad idea to wear a mask in crowded areas. Doesn’t appear to be as bad as it’s predecessors but that can change over time.

Im digging up this post to ask and clarify a few details as I'm really interested in establishing in Luang Prabang as well :
- Where did you submit your passport to ? Did you simply walk into the immigration office in Luang Prabang or Vientiane by saying that you'd like to apply for a LA-B2 visa and they told you that all you need to give is your passport and 2 pictures ? For info, I work from home as well as a freelance translator and renting a house for 1 year in Luang Prabang wouldn't be a problem for me.
- After I've made a bit of research, I've seen on the internet that you need at least a invitation letter from a company based in Laos in order to "sponsor" your visa.
I'd be happy to hear more from you as I find your post really informative so far.
Thanks in advance.
Can I also add a question about taxation? I’m interested to know if his online revenue is taxed as income in Laos?

She’s done a good job of getting climate on the agenda but this issue can only be resolved by Governments around the world, not young activists. We need to deal with climate change without going back to the Stone Age, and make sure that whatever actions we take don’t have negative unintended consequences. We need adults in the room, and Greta back in school. I was glad to see the back of Malala, then this one shows up!

And Chinese people cough openly, with no attempt to cover their face. I would avoid the region until it is under control.

So you don't believe in free will or personal choices? it's all preordained?
No point in going to school, looking for work, or making any personal efforts in life at all.
That strategy appears to have worked for you?

I was happily married for six months, then the next six months was a complete nightmare. I had to pursue the last six months because i had a £100 bet that i would last a whole year. But that was many years ago in the uk. Now I've meet a wonderful woman in Thailand we get married next month. The only thing what annoys me is when she's giving me a blxw job she makes a he'll of a lot of noise ????
That will be her gag reflex ... lol.

Sometimes you are better off doing nothing. I'd be very wary of "financial planners" based in Thailand, or anywhere else for that matter. You appear to be doing just fine.

I think your wife is the clearer thinker between the two of you. The pollution and rules of living for a foreigner in Thailand are pretty poor. If your wife is happy to stay and you have enough funds to live comfortably why would you want to live in Thailand?

Unbelievable.
There is always a reason ... like the teacher is a sadist and a psychopath.

I have a feeling that it won't end well for Putin. He's terrified of anyone else ever taking over Russia as he's open to corruption charges and confiscation of assets. There's no decent other country that he can retire to and he'd be charged if he tried to settle in the west.

Almost could appear to some that double standards are in play.
But seriously, you just couldn't begin to concoct a more "out there" farce than this. Enjoying the show, and thanks for guaranteeing the Donald an easy run to victory later this year.
It wouldn’t matter if Joe Biden was on the Ukraine payroll, you are simply not allowed to use the office of the presidency to dig dirt (or make up dirt) on an opponent, especially where matters of national security are concerned. That part seems to have passed you by?

Trump makes Nixon look like a choirboy. He deserves to be impeached but he won’t be. The “people” are so bombarded by online propaganda that they can’t see Trump for what he is ... a crook.

What a shame your girlfriend can’t read or write? I hope she takes steps to try and do so.
As for your laptop, it’s not worth much at all ... the technology moves on so even a couple of years old and they are not worth much more than scrap. Give it away to someone worthy.

However it looks as though they want to keep the expensive security detail paid for by the British taxpayer, the expensive just renovated house in Windsor etc. Looking as though they want the best of both worlds, having ones cake etc...
I had a bet on with my Canadian friend predicting this would fall apart. It has I admit been astoundingly fast and ironically they might end up in Canada. She now owes me lunch!
There is nothing that Harry can do about his birth, he didn’t volunteer to be a Royal. So it’s not fair or reasonable to deny him taxpayer funded security, even if he decides to fly solo. Something similar happened to his mother, and it didn’t work out well.
You have one life, and Harry has the same right to lead it as he likes as the rest of us. Better to bow out now than be miserable for the rest of his days.

The joke wasn’t about Greta Thunberg, it was a joke about what kids get up to on the road to adulthood ... a joke, not a social or political statement. British humour ... nuanced and dark at times, and not always understood by foreigners.

But 71 years old and driving bike ? why ? this is so wrong but it seems that aging men cannot accept the truth.
It's cheaper than a car, and that's probably the main motivating factor ... not a desire to return to your youth.

You very rarely read an article about a 71 year old on a motorcycle in the British newspapers, as most are driving cars, not motorcycles. The problem with motorcycles and bicycles is that even a small collision can end a life. If you are retiring in Thailand a car or 4x4 should be high on your list of priorities. I feel for the man and his no doubt young family, RIP.

I'd love to know why he was fired. He must have done/known something really bad and interfered with someone higher up than him in the mafia, sorry government.
Internal conflict amongst the made men?
He’s obviously messed with someone important’s income stream, only to discover that he was not as powerful as he thought. Perhaps the publicity got to his head?

Get your a rs e in gear and get away from those leeches. It's never too late to start again and if you have a regular pension coming, there's more reason to move on to pastures anew.
Wishing you the best in your new life.
I was thinking the same. Take your natural daughter and leave the rest to grow up and fend for themselves.
if you are over 35 best avoid marriage if you have substantial assets ... even more important for those settling in Thailand.

Thai authorities do nothing to prevent burning season, that's killing their own people slowly every year, yet clamp down on the relatively harmless act of vaping?
If I were a cynic I'd surmise that some vested interests are behind such actions?

Iran are behind many attacks on the US and US allies in that region, and the dead General was not visiting Iraq to visit his aged Aunt. I'm no fan of Trump or his motives but sometimes, like a stopped clock, he gets it right. Iran now have to calculate how far they can go with their activities ... or the cleric might find himself joining his dear friend. Whatever the rhetoric, they prefer power and life to death.

Is Bob an independent advisor or is he attached to a company?

U.N. experts demand probe into alleged Saudi hack of Amazon boss Bezos

I can't believe Jeff Bezos got caught out sending pictures of his johnson to his girlfriend? You'd think he'd have a hack proof mobile, it's not as if he's short of a bob or two.
