  1. You seriously think TESLA employees vote Republican?!? That is another magnitude of stupid. Tesla cratering (a company that Musk only owns a 12% stake in) is a result of low information, high emotion idiots who can't think past their next bowel movement. Next thing, you will tell me that Tesla owners deserve to have their property vandalized because THEY are Trump supporters. But if it makes you feel any better, Tesla is still up 60% on where it was a year ago. And 370% over 5 years ago. I wish the stocks I picked could "crater" like that...
  2. Uh, me for one. Don't you give a crap about the 125,000 Americans who work for the company? Or the pension funds invested in it? Probably not. More important to virtue signal and "get" Musk by targeting a company that he doesn't own.
  3. Gangs use symbols and codes to communicate. The tats that this guy have are crystal clear, and are real. If he WEREN'T a member of the gang and got the tats, the actual gang members would kill him. Much like Hell's Angels bikers get a bit upset when non-members wear their colors or symbols. He is a citizen of El Salvador and is now in his home country. The reason for the non-return order is gone. The gang he asserted was going to harm him is no more, thanks to Bukele.
  4. Just gave it a quick read. The writer makes a valid point regarding the minutae of the procedures. TBH, I would be sceptical if there were any big contacts between Maduro and the gangs. As the report says, there are low level collaboration but it is hard to determine anything above that level. But in the end, so what? A procedure that facilitates removing violent gang members from the US is preferable to the alternative. Being gang members is just the icing on the cake- if they are illegal, they go.
  5. Since the article is behind a paywall, perhaps you could summarize; a/ what is the president's rationale b/ how is it undercut Thanx!
  6. Perhaps yes, great dogs IF raised properly. IF. But, especially in Thailand, how many ARE raised properly? Raised to be comfortable around people, not to react to stimuli, etc. And how many are literally ticking time bombs, ready to explode at any moment of stress or frustration? Again, the training isnt the problem. The potential for death/injury of innocent people IS. At least require owners to have licensing and liability insurance.
  7. The biggest tragedy will be that an "ethnic" person who is NOT a diversity hire, but rather is hired on their merits, will be taken as one.
  8. Perhaps, perhaps not. But some breeds ARE more dangerous, due to their size and strength. There is a reason they are called "pit" bulls- they are bred to fight in pits. Not too many people are killed by vicious chiuahuas biting them to the bone.
  9. THis "Maryland man" was also accused of being a wife beater. His wife had TWO protection orders sworn against him. So yes, El Salvador can keep this productive member of society for themselves.
  10. Rachel Morin was a "Maryland woman". A "Maryland woman" who was brutally assaulted, murdered, and left in a sewage pipe by a "Maryland man". An illegal migrant from El Salvador. Who should have been NOT in the country but for the previous administration's weakness. Now, consider how much attention the media is paying to ANOTHER "Maryland man" these days. Al illegal migrant from El Salvador. Who was deported BEFORE he could victimize another woman (he already victimized his wife twice). The Morin case is a warning of the future in which "Maryland men" are allowed to stay in America.
  11. It is actually rather kind of the El Salvadorean president to keep him. I wouldn't blame him if he said, "hell yeah, you want the gang banger back? He's all yours, I will have him on a plane tomorrow!"
  12. This is true. He should have stuck to his original plan and bowed out after one term. Would have given the Democrats time to build up a better candidate than the one they were stuck with. But his hubris got in the way.
  13. It is a strange genocide where the current population is HIGHER than when the war began. Also, when you want a 'free" Palestine, what do you mean exactly? What is your definition of free, and for whom? And what constitutes "Palestine"? or is this simply another Judenfrei rant...
  14. This is an impressive rant, big fella. Go easy, or the stomach acid you are generating will give you an ulcer. So like most on the left, you confuse your emotions with facts.
  15. My idea was that asylum seekers should seek asylum in the FIRST safe country they manage to escape into. Not the country of their choice, and not the 7th or 8th safe country they have travelled across. Why should the UK take them when they were perfectly safe in France?
  16. Tow them back to France? Mine the Channel? Blockade Calais? If they are on unsafe vessels, load them onto safe ones and ferry them back where they came from?
  17. Meanwhile, the Bad Orange Man has reduced illegal immigration by 93% compared to a year ago. Just 8,000 illegal crossings in February. Brits are too enslaved by white liberal guilt to do what is necessary.
  18. Lose billions in tax revenue. Save billions in education, prison, emergency room, law enforcement, etc. At best, a wash. Hell, New York City alone has spent $5 billion on services for illegal migrants in just 2 years, according to Mayor Adams. There is no industry that has a majority illegal worker workforce. There is no such thing as a job that an American citizen or legal resident won't do, only jobs that they won't do for pittance wages. Like the idiot congresscritter Jasmine Crockett said, "who's gonna pick the cotton?" She wants a permanent underclass of pseudo-slaves to do the scut work at peasant wages. What a racist.
  19. I was there in mid-March and it was not too crowded. Lovely town...
  20. First, up to Chiang Rai and then on to Mei Sai. Then, pass by the Royal Project at Doi Tung on your way to joining the Mae Hong Son loop. Finish at Doi Inthanon and then on down to Sukhothai. See the Unesco there and also Si Sachanarai (sp). Finally, dash through to Nong Khai on the Mekong River. Nice tour with history and nature.
  21. Ah yes those appalling cabinet picks like Bessent, Rubio, Ludnick....not to mention the terrible policy of cutting illegal immigration by 93%, deporting alien criminals, halting the social cancer of DEI, and bringing more than a trillion dollars of investment. Truly terrible.
  22. That was an interesting part of Maher's take on the evening. He thinks that IF the Trump he met could be the same when in public.... things would go differently. But TBH I have heard the same from many sources. Trump, in person and at ease without cameras around, is a genuinely funny and charming guy. He has the ability to make people relax and is shockingly genuine. It was fascinating to hear Maher say that he wouldn't have felt nearly as at ease in a dinner with Obama or either of the Clintons, even though he voted for them and aligns with them politically. I guess private Trump is just comfortable in his own skin and stops being a politician.
  23. Who will come out on top? Will the NDP supporters strategically vote Carney into a majority? Will young men and rural voters propel Polievre into power? Inquiring minds want to know!
