The scary thing is that Biden even drags the teleprompter to private fundraisers, held in private homes. He has it set up literally in the living room of a rich donor and then reads it to those attending. Afterwards, takes off without interacting with or talking to the attendees. I think a lot of the donor class are going to stay on the sidelines.

You must be joking. I saw her gaslighting Biden in the 2020 Democratic primary debates, also getting owned by Tulsi Gabbard. And also saw her campaign very quickly immolate before the caucuses and primaries even began. She was thoroughly and comprehensively rejected by the whole of the Democratic Party at that time. She will get the money though. And she is almost half black, which counts for a lot to the Dems. Although a genuine African American would be better.

A couple of reasons may be; a/ they don't want to take the chance of losing to The Donald and torpedoing their chances going forward b/ if Joe runs and loses, that makes the 2028 election wide open for them c/ they won't get the money in Joe's election warchest and will have to start fundraising again

Glad you remember it. A lot of media kerfuffle and nothing more. For the average American, they were good years. Low inflation, low unemployment (especially for minorities) etc. Nobody will remember the political scandals or what world leaders thought when they vote this year. They will remember the two dollar gas and the 3% mortgage and want them back.

You forget that pre-Covid, the Trump years were anything but chaos. The world was largely at peace, the economy was ticking along, inflation was low, real strides were make in prison reform, etc. Now you can (and many will) argue as to exactly where the credit goes for those things, and that is fair. But they are truths regardless.

She runs and loses, and 2028 is wide open. There are a lot of Democratic governors waiting in the wings for their shot, and they are young enough to wait 4 years. So much for Trump being such a threat to democracy, I guess.

Biden continuing is the best news the GOP could have hoped for. Now wait for the media to sway yet again from "Joe needs to go" to "way to go Joe!". For the fourth time, by my count. Trump is getting some very good coaching and advice these days. Notice that he has been OUT of the news lately? A week since the debate and almost nothing from team Trump. He has finally learned Napoleon's advice to NOT interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake. This bodes ill for the Democrats if it continues. A disciplined Trump is a formidable foe.

Ukraine is also not part of NATO. And as usual with most of those who cheer on the war, you did not answer the basic question- do you think NATO should intervene, at the cost of NATO members' soldiers lives?

That's exactly right. Putin is willing to sacrifice Russian lives. The US and NATO are willing to sacrifice Ukranian lives. So now.... sacrifice NATO lives to kick Putin out of eastern Ukraine? Is that OK with you?

One thing Zelensky and the warmongers in the Congress have in common- they are all willing to fight to the last Ukranian. It is a pointless struggle by now. No mention of a big "spring offensive" this year either, especially after last year's debacle. The Russians arent gonna leave without a big fight- a fight that involves NATO and nukes potentially. And it just aint worth it. Cut a deal and get back to normal.
