  1. Potential EV newbie here: Is having an at-home charger essential? How much does at-home charging add to the domestic electricity bill? Are there numerous charging points all over Thailand? How much does it cost to charge at a public charging point? For a budget customer, is BYD the way to go?
  2. Didn't the pandemic finish years ago?🙄
  3. Well said. Raw beef is a staple of Japanese and Italian cuisine, as well as French. Why would eating it in Thailand be any different. Thais love their raw food, prawns/shrimps not to mention 'larb moo'.
  4. To experience and enjoy the famous Pattaya nightlife.
  5. It's ridiculous putting this in the Bangkok Forum, when it's a Thailand wide issue. Maybe there should be a separate PM2.5 Forum with daily updates for those who are interested?
  6. Along with 70 million other people...
  7. Biden will hang on (if he can) until the Convention. Then he will allocate all his delegates to an anointed successor, who will have agreed in advance to keep Kamala as VP. Ideally Michelle Obama, but if she can't be persuaded, Gavin Newsom.
  8. It's disgusting but just something people have always had to take precautions (masks, air purifiers) against and live with. In the past we were none the wiser as there was no social media publicity; now every time it hits red, there's a panic!
  9. It hasn't changed. If you're British by Descent you cannot pass on your citizenship to children born abroad. However, there are exceptions so definitely worth pursuing.
  10. I'm sure she'd rather see Harris or Newsome (or better still M Obama) and there's a good chance of that happening. Anyone but the orange man.
  11. No. Just the blue book and government issued insurance.
  12. Congratulations Taylor - you won the Superbowl, now for the election.
  13. Your daughter is British by Descent so cannot pass on her British citizenship to her daughter, if she too was born in Thailand. Technically, anyway, but there may be a way round it if you consult a specialist.
  14. Good to know, thanks. I'm surprised the fussy French accept English or Thai and don't demand Francais!
  15. A IDP is certainly not required to drive in the UK, as a Thai licence is printed in English. Not so sure about all countries in Europe though.
  16. @tomgreen This is an interesting thread - do you have an update? Did Cigna come up with an acceptable/affordable plan?
  17. Did you read his post? He's applying for his daughter's passport.
  18. Paying for sexual services with an underage provider is illegal. It makes no difference whether they were 'barfined' from a bar, or whether they showed fake ID.
  19. Gosh. People smoking weed at a rock concert. Who'd have thought?
  20. Just wait until your next renewal.
  21. It depends what work they do. 18 is fine for waitress work and dancing. No idea where you got 21 from.
  22. Possibly a more up-to-date link here: https://www.gov.uk/get-document-legalised/apply-for-legalisation Definitely easier to do if you're in the UK, but apparently can now be done online.
  23. It's more likely found in Thai karaoke bars, but maybe that's where this guy went.
  24. She's got to wait at least another year before she's allowed to run for President.
