    This could lead to the UK person deciding to move permanently to Thailand and get married. Trouble will come when the UK state pension is due -- The pension will never be increased after the first payment.

    Correct The new extension will end on the passport expiry date. After obtaining the extension, apply for a new passport and then get the stamp/s transferred.

    Yes, 3 months ago it was scan the passport slip and out in 10 minutes. Not any more. And you need to stop one of the 3 girls on the desk from eating to get served

    Not for me. I went today and had to fill out the TM47 and supply passport copies. Been doing the 90 day report for 20 years now. Strange thing is that when you get your passport back they still staple in the slip giving the next reporting date, along with the bar code scan

    The proposal also includes the responsibility of these establishments to arrange transportation services for such patrons. So would the establishment also pay for such transport, having decided that you should not be driving ? Even if you're not the driver, so passengers can get home as well

    During covid some bars charged you 100 baht for a covid test just to allow you into the bar. Will this prove another opportunity for An*tin to provide "official" breathalysers ??

    It's 5.1% compared to standard Leo at 5% Hardly merits being called strong Although I take your point about it being like Beer Lao, which is about the best we can get even if it is highly taxed

    My Thai daughter is hoping to start at Uni next year. She is already applying, and has to sit some exams next month. She hopes to study dentistry. I have scoured the University websites and can find nothing regarding scholarships. Is there a dedicated website for this anywhere ? Thanks
