  1. Absolutely, the responsibility of parents is of the upmost importance when raising children, as is the importance of a good quality education that covers life's subjects that they will be subjected to. Fortunately my children in the UK received both and went onto attend Uni. My daughter here is still going through that process. Here in Thailand she has also had these subjects within the curriculum, its an international school. Its been a great help so she can then discuss further with me at home.
  2. Not for my children, being taught inclusion and non discrimination has benefited them immensely. The time spent is not a 2 year block by the way, its just a few lessons within their whole school life on this. That's all it takes to learn to be non prejudice.
  3. Correct in the UK they embrace teaching this within the curriculum. The Welsh government's RSE code says from the age of seven pupils will be taught "an awareness of how positive and negative social and cultural norms regarding sex, gender and sexuality influence relationships and behaviours". Lord Justice Males added that diversity and inclusion were "fundamental" to British society. https://news.sky.com/story/sex-education-campaigners-lose-bid-to-appeal-high-court-ruling-in-battle-against-welsh-government-policy-12898659
  4. If it was just one message online then it would not be as significant, but it is not, there are multiple links in this topic to the violent rhetoric been promoted. The security services are rightly planning for any eventuality.
  5. The very same right wing National Review also wrote this yesterday: The Trump Indictment Is Damning " it is impossible to read the indictment against Trump in the Mar-a-Lago documents case and not be appalled at the way he handled classified documents as an ex-president, and responded to the attempt by federal authorities to reclaim them." "Once Trump was no longer president, he had no right to these materials. He stored them recklessly — not in a secured space that had been approved to handle classified documents, but, farcically, in places including his bedroom, a bathroom, and a ballroom. This was within his Mar-a-Lago Club that has hosted events for tens of thousands of people within the roughly year and a half that the documents were in his possession." https://www.nationalreview.com/2023/06/the-trump-indictment-is-damning/ It goes on, its quite damning of Trump and his corrupt behaviour in this case.
  6. An LGBTQ flag was burned at an elementary school in Southern California this month ahead of a Pride event, and police are investigating the incident as a hate crime https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-news/lgbtq-flag-burned-california-elementary-school-ahead-pride-event-rcna87083
  7. Talking about well known names, there's a video of Kari Lake giving this beauty going round twitter: “If you want to get to President Trump, you’re going to have to go through me and you’re going to have to go through 75 million Americans just like me,” said Lake, a staunch Trump ally who lost her 2022 bid for governor. Most of those Trump voters, she pointedly added, are “card-carrying members” of the National Rifle Association. “That’s not a threat. That’s a public service announcement,” she said. “We will not let you lay a finger on President Trump. Frankly, now is the time to cling to our guns and our religion.” https://www.ajc.com/politics/kari-lake-on-indictment-you-will-not-lay-a-finger-on-president-trump/MMN42LXFBFAI3OLFITJY7TPIHE/
  8. Support still strong: Over 80% of Ukrainians oppose territorial concessions, even at risk of protracted war — poll In every region of Ukraine, the absolute majority of the population is against any territorial concessions, KIIS said. In Eastern Ukraine 75% are against concessions (only 13% are ready to make concessions), while 86% are against concessions (only 8% are ready) in Southern Ukraine. https://news.yahoo.com/over-80-ukrainians-oppose-territorial-124000569.html
  9. Study history. There is a real, immanent danger in engaging in this type of rhetoric. Indeed these far right wing message boards are notorious for engaging in hate speech and promoting violence, so much so that the owner of the original one had to close it down. TheDonald’s owner speaks out on why he finally pulled plug on hate-filled site The Army veteran, a site moderator who owned its domain, watched with growing alarm as racism, threats and QAnon references flourished on the pro-Trump site. His former co-moderators called him a ‘sellout’ who went ‘rogue’ after internal schism. Jody Williams knew things had gotten out of hand early last month, when a post on the pro-Trump message board TheDonald included a detailed diagram of how to tie a “hangman’s knot” on a noose. Three days later, on Jan. 6, a real noose was hung on makeshift gallows on the National Mall, amid a violent siege on the U.S. Capitol. https://www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2021/02/05/why-thedonald-moderator-left/
  10. "Photos of Trump’s boxes out in the open. This is something incredible. Here are Trump’s boxes of mementos, which include classified material, literally displayed on a stage in a ballroom where events were held. The documents were in the location for months, according to the indictment." https://edition.cnn.com/interactive/2023/06/politics/annotated-trump-indictment-dg/ Donald Trump kept classified documents in shower and ballroom and faces 37 felony counts, unsealed indictment shows https://news.sky.com/story/donald-trump-indicted-on-37-felony-counts-related-to-retaining-classified-information-and-obstructing-justice-12899635
  11. As we can see here even when the evidence is in front of their eyes they still refuse to believe it and deflect.
  12. He did say it. Trump Returns to ‘FBI Planted Evidence’ Accusation in Wild Rant After DOJ Appealed Special Master Ruling
  13. At least 2 lawyers gone now but then when Trump tries to mislead his own lawyers its hardly surprising. The full annotated indictment is here. Interesting reading. He's toast. 14. Back up your claim: "half of the US can see the false claims"
  15. Should you not do that first?
  16. They are expecting protests at the courthouse on Tuesday. Trump is looking forward to seeing them https://truthsocial.com/@realDonaldTrump/posts/110516652745413008
  17. The obvious is that you failed to click the link that accompanied that pic and would have told you the context.
  18. It's in the indictment, image is released by the DOJ. Making up stories?

  21. "If you want to "prove" that the vaccines saved lives, you first have to assume that the vaccines saved lives, as the article explicitly states." "Vaccination was assumed to confer protection against SARS-CoV-2 infection and the development of severe disease requiring hospital admission." The assumption that it saves lives is well documented by the facts in the Vaccine effectiveness trials including real world trials. Numerous links on that. The study additionally cites all its links to back this up at the end of the article.
  22. Biden Administration Announces Additional Security Assistance for Ukraine Today, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced a new security assistance package, underscoring the unwavering U.S. support for Ukraine. This package, which totals up to $2.1 billion and includes critical air defense and ammunition capabilities, is being provided under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative (USAI). This USAI package illustrates the continued commitment to both Ukraine’s critical near-term capabilities as well as the enduring capacity of Ukraine’s Armed Forces to defend its territory and deter Russian aggression over the long term. https://www.defense.gov/News/Releases/Release/Article/3422822/biden-administration-announces-additional-security-assistance-for-ukraine/
  23. There's also no doubt in my mind. The evidence is overwhelming now. Along with your links the other incriminating factors include. The Russians have been in control of the dam and power plant area for over a year. At the end of May, Russia enacted a new law that waives the need for any investigation into accidents on dangerous sites or hydroelectric structures on occupied Ukrainian territory. Zelensky in a speech to the UN back in Oct warned them that Russia had mined the dam and he wanted international observers to inspect. Nobody went. Just before the dam was blown its floodgates had been closed raising the water levels. Links to above in a post I made in a separate topic
  24. Since when are TV hosts part of the legal process? If that were the case then I dread to see what would happen with some of the rants being spewed out by the right wing hosts.
