  1. Well balance of evidence is certainly on the side of the orcs carrying this out. Its been under Russian control for a year. In October, Zelenskyy claimed Russia had mined the dam in his address to the European Council, and called for international observers to be sent to the power plant. At the time, Zelenskyy said Ukraine was expecting Russia “to carry out a terrorist attack and blame Ukraine for it." https://www.politico.eu/article/ukraine-dam-blow-up-evacuation-blame-russia-war-nova-kakhovka-hydroelectric-plant/ Russia gave advance permission to not investigate its attack on Ukraine’s Kakhovska Dam A Russian government resolution from 30 May effectively gave a green light for the catastrophic attack on the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Power Station dam. The decision, which came into force the following day, waives the need for any investigation into accidents on dangerous sites or hydroelectric structures on occupied Ukrainian territory which occurred as the result of military action, sabotage or terrorism. The decision, reported by the Insider, and available here, https://khpg.org/en/1608812350 https://twitter.com/IntelArrow/status/1666010580497448960
  2. Nah, Kennedy is too busy talking to Elon Musk on twitter and dreaming up more conspiracy theories, such as school mass shootings are down to Prozac.
  3. Yes, she is wrong, about as wrong as when she ranted about Jewish Space Lazers. Climate change migration is real, not just to the US but every country. Its a growing problem, 100's of thousands die each year from climate change impacts and its getting worse. Each country needs to plan for taking in such genuine refugees. Look at the facts, you won't find them with her. At least she is admitting to climate change however.
  4. Hardly surprising there is an injunction on this. The full judgement here. https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.flnd.460963/gov.uscourts.flnd.460963.90.0.pdf The court called out the Legislator who called trans people "mutants" and "demons." (page 33) "This decision is extremely strong and dismantles every far right talking point about gender affirming care. Once again, Twitter talking points don't hold up in court." A run down on this twitter thread:
  5. Exactly, although the notion that they would get a gun ban and buy back scheme within a few days was always doomed to failure. They knew that though, that was probably part of the strategy to get publicity. Most will probably have kids so won't be able to stay for long anyway. However they've already achieved an enormous amount. As Biden says, "its time to act, its time make our voices heard". This should not be a dems or republicans thing. Its for the safety of all people in the US especially the younger generation. If you have kids you know, unfortunately there's far to many parents who know too much, because their children have died or been killed by guns. This group has a vision and if they can get just half of their objectives done its a huge success. Good luck to them and I hope the protests grow to other states.
  6. Devasting war crime by the Russians. Looks like they have no intention of staying in Crimea as that will also have no water now.
  7. I don't see any claim by the poster to that affect of it being paradise. He only mentioned his real estate investments doing well. You decided to bring in the homeless for deflection.
  8. Similar to Orlando With rent rising in metro Orlando, homeless numbers are up, too Actually if you go to any state in the US there are homeless.
  9. Crystal ball time is it? “The case filed includes both felony and misdemeanor charges of Unlawful Restraint,” according to the statement. “At this time, the case is being reviewed by the DA’s office. Once an update is available, it will be provided to the public.”
  10. Looks like they've started the dumping again. In the last attempt when they flew them to Martha’s Vineyard, the sheriff there has just made this announcement: A Texas sheriff’s department has recommended that the district attorney in Bexar County bring criminal charges over the first iteration of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ so-called migrant relocation program. https://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/immigration/article276114271.html
  11. A different take on the dog ate my homework. Trump goes big and his swimming pool flooded the homework.....lol
  12. Wow, very telling, a legal and peaceful demonstration calling for action on gun violence by 1,000 women and you bring up Pride month! Whats even more ironic, the location was chosen not only because of the Covenant school mass shooting but also because of these: "the state has been the site of some of the nation's most infamous mass shootings, including Columbine High School in 1999, the Aurora movie theater in 2012, and Club Q, an LGBTQ nightclub, in 2022, organizers said." Its their children that are getting killed, the number one cause of death for young people in the US. This protest is not about gender issues, a shameful deflection.
  13. Yes but they had to tell the truth in court. Rather than the pack of lies they tell on campaigns
  14. Didn't watch them all but I did this one. Classic, a must watch in my view. DeSantis staffers were asked to define woke in a court hearing, sounds about right!
  15. Of course the science changed, the evidence was in the studies they carried out to prove it. Hence the evolving advice given. Flu by the way is not a coronavirus
  16. Really! Never knew they did crispy bacon, heard a lot about them, guess I will need to get one soon.
  17. Probably less bias than DeSantis and his crew especially with its links to facts
  18. Like I said as variants evolved the advice and science changed, in the US, UK and just about every country that administered vaccines but they still provided good protection from serious illness and death. This also from 2021 Analysis of nursing home COVID-19 data from NHSN indicated a significant decline in effectiveness of full mRNA COVID-19 vaccination against laboratory-confirmed SARS-CoV-2 infection, from 74.7% during the pre-Delta period (March 1–May 9, 2021) to 53.1% during the period when the Delta variant predominated in the United States. https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/70/wr/mm7034e3.htm
  19. Well the topic is: "It’s a scary time for us’: Florida Pride organizers on edge amid safety fears" If you want to expand it then go ahead and provide separate links
  20. His claim was an unsubstantiated opinion, my link (not my claim) was an official Ipsos poll from the US
  21. USA TODAY/Ipsos Poll found a that majority of Americans, including 78% of Democrats and 37% of Republicans, see “woke” in a positive light, and define the term as “to be informed, educated on and aware of social injustices.” https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/columnist/2023/03/10/what-does-woke-mean-republicans/11427923002/
  22. To DeSantis just about anything he's against is woke But to the majority of American they see “woke” in a positive light, and define the term as “to be informed, educated on and aware of social injustices.”
