Unscrupulous things happen in London as well
Bkk Brian replied to Mac Mickmanus's topic in UK & Europe Topics and Events
This OP is about London and he was responding to my post which was about London, maybe that's why? -
Elon seems desperate to get Trump back on. While some people on Twitter tried to find pun and humour in the post, others felt that Musk has clearly overstepped his limits calling the meme no less than vulgar, inappropriate and distasteful. Elon Musk via his meme is perhaps trying to suggest that Donald Trump is tempted to tweet, however he is praying for resistance to do so, with Trump being labelled as Jesus and the woman as Twitter temptation. "Beyond the obvious gross misogyny, this is so pathetically desperate on multiple levels. Imagine being the richest man on earth, and begging for the attention of Donald Trump and the approval of alt-right "influencers." It was Musk’s, the world’s richest man’s second attempt at tempting Trump, to post on Twitter, The first, now deleted, used a Family Guy character being tempted by a bottle of pills. Perhaps thinking that this was in bad taste for mocking the nation’s opioid epidemic, Musk deleted it.

Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
Bkk Brian replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
The result of Russia's campaign to destroy civilian infrastructure, power and water in Ukraine's winter months. More than a resemblance to Stalin's Holodomor Millions of lives under threat in Ukraine this winter - WHO The lives of millions will be under threat in Ukraine this winter, the World Health Organization has said. Half of Ukraine's energy infrastructure is either damaged or destroyed, and 10 million are currently without power, said Dr Hans Henri P Kluge, WHO regional director for Europe. Temperatures are predicted to plummet as low as -20C (-4F) in some areas. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-63708223 -
Elon's attempt at humour to entice Trump back to tweet no doubt, or maybe he's looking for advertisers such as porn hub.............. https://twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1594500655724609536

Unscrupulous things happen in London as well

I can relate to that, just before covid hit I was on holiday in London for a few weeks and sitting at one of the outside cafe's at Covent Garden having lunch. After a few mins an undercover policeman came over to our table and said he had been watching us. Told us to remove our mobile phones from the table as there were many snatch and grab opportunists around. -
Just fact checking your B.S
-
Exaclty. As evidenced on his own twitter feed on the 7th Jan. Too late then
-
No website/ forum or blog in the world agrees with you. Perhaps hit up the boss of twitter. He's open to sensible suggestions..........oh wait he just said no to Alex Jones lol
-
No you can suspend multiple times as is the twitter policy, 12 hours, 24, whatever. They can also de-rank tweets in twitter search results much as Google does for fake news. Total ban is for more serious offences

Assault on Kiev: Russian helicopters swoop above Ukraine's capital
Bkk Brian replied to Chris.B's topic in The War in Ukraine
OSCE was monitoring the situation following the Minsk 2 agreements, if Russia had actually stuck to the agreement there would have been no conflict then and no war now. A major blockage has been Russia’s insistence that it is not a party to the conflict and therefore is not bound by its terms. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/2/9/what-is-the-minsk-agreement-and-why-is-it-relevant-now Hopefully we can now get back to the actual topic rather than discuss this again as has been done numerous times in this OP previously after you brought up the same thing again and again -
Your claim: My response: What the poster actually said rather than your edited version; So you claimed the poster said: "anyone who posts untrue content should be banned (in the same post)" Is not true as you can clearly see the poster did not say this
-
"and also posted that anyone who posts untrue content should be banned (in the same post)" Now you are the one lying, that poster did not say anyone who posts untrue comments should be banned, he said there should be consequences, very different, consequences can mean a range of sanctions such as a fact check flag or a temp suspension. There are numerous fact check flags on Trumps posts especially from 6th Jan where he was constantly lying Here's another view. Surely society should expect that comments posted on any media should be truthful. And if not, especially when it's obvious the comment is not truthful, there should be consequences.

Trolling does not make you credible
-
No you are trying to bring in whataboutism "50m die each year all cause" More false assumptions, I don't even live in Bangkok and your claim as to what you've seen of Thailand or not has no bearing on this OP or discussion Do you sit in bkk worrying about such trivia? Ive seen more of Thailand in 3 months then you have in 3 years no doubt. Your way off topic now
-
Whataboutism is not education it is deflection
-
Like I said you live in your own echo chamber
-
Do you spend your life making false claims?
-
You ignored your own false claim why does that not surprise me, and yes people died as a result of the riots
-
Always from the left? I guess you most live in your own echo chamber: Pence, who spent years refusing to publicly criticize his old boss, makes clear that Jan. 6, 2021, was a breaking point in which, he writes, Trump’s “reckless words had endangered my family and all those serving at the Capitol.” https://apnews.com/article/entertainment-donald-trump-14a7cef45932a38a57f2ed98601a7acd

Yes.
-
Nope nor does Musk who has flatly refused to open his account. Free speech does have limits
-
Has Alex Jones account been re activated then?
