  1. And then Thailand collapses. Yep. Good plan.
  2. As expected. Oddly enough around 2/3 (more?) of the voting population have spoken but this means nothing to a very, very, very few people who actually run the show and want to continue to run the show. Revolution in Thailand is on the doorstep. I believe the people of Thailand will accept nothing other than the change they voted for.
  3. No need to apologise. The people have spoken on their own account. Never underestimate a people who have no regard for a government. My wife, my daughter, all the extended family, friends of the family and every Thai I have talked to (which is a lot) hate Prayut, hate the military in govt. and I can say no more about another hate. I truly hope the military, the elites and others will listen to the will of the people.
  4. I can tell you haven't thought deeply about this. The USA had absolutely nothing to do with this overwhelming vote against the military in government in Thailand. This was the Thai people and the Thai people alone.
  5. Complete rubbish. The push back will be enormous to maintain the oligopolies stangle hold on the market selling their very, very sub-standard products.
  6. Great. Now cut the import tax by at least 50%
  7. Agree, but pretty much what I was saying and have been for quite some time. A coup will not come without civil unrest. Civil unrest must be manufactured. Will it go this way? Will the planted bastions of the three pillars vote against the progression of Thailand into the 21st Century which will lead to said civil unrest? I think civil unrest is not the right term. I think it will be much, much more. I have been talking to Thais about this and this country will explode. The people have had enough. They voted for 'it's time to move forward' and this is what they want. I fear that the streets of BKK will be running in blood.
  8. You are all wrong. I have to agree with this group 4 people shown in the image that the US influenced a vote of around 25,000,000 people in Thailand that the three pillars along with many other things, e.g. monopolies, needs reform. It's obvious. Damn you Americans. You should stay out of Thailand's 'democratic' process.
  9. I bet it does and this would be down to 250 planted vanguards of the three pillars, planted in the senate by a miltary coup leader who stayed in power by said vanguards and a corrupted electoral system. I will keep saying this. Thailand is on the brink. Progress is coming or a coup is coming. I cannot see any other alternatives.
  10. Image is not very clear but whatever it is on the right looks suspiciously like dope brownies.
  11. This is only the 2nd time I can remember when the word comorbidity has been used. The 1st was when the elderly gentalman died who had several severe comorbidities died with XBB.1.16. Interesting that emphysema is being stated as having a resurgence. Maybe, just maybe this is why there is an increase in ventilations on patients with covid. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6567502/#:~:text=Both vitro and vivo studies,function%2C and cause emphysematous changes. Results We found that the effect of PM2.5 on COPD morbidity was associated with its levels and that PM2.5 and cigarette smoke could have a synergistic impact on COPD development and progression. Both vitro and vivo studies demonstrated that PM2.5 exposure could induce pulmonary inflammation, decrease lung function, and cause emphysematous changes. Furthermore, PM2.5 could markedly aggravated cigarette smoke-induced changes. Conclusions In short, we found that prolonged chronic exposure to PM2.5 resulted in decreased lung function, emphysematous lesions and airway inflammation. Most importantly, long-term PM2.5 exposure exacerbateed cigarette smoke-induced changes in COPD.
  12. Isn't the wet season meant to start this week? That's what they said. Now it's Of course they said rainy season will start mid-May. That didn't happen. Then it was Monday this week. That didn't happen. Then it was this week. Hasn't happened so far and now it's rain for four days. The wet season is building though and it's gotta rain soon. A few days would be welcome relief.
  13. Blue whales are are protected species globally.
  14. Has been in Australia. Don't know now but there must be thousands of labels in a population of 26 million. Business is booming.
  15. I'm guessing here in Thailand the rice they use comes from here. Hops I think is from Germany. The hops is probably quality. You can put a beautiful rose on a turd but it's still a turd.
  16. I will never have these vaccines again.
  17. Yep. TIT. Maybe this will change too. Possible 15 years for saying something you shouldn't under 112 and a 6 yr sentence reduced to 3 for rape. Of course if you're connected and murder/kill someone the chances of zero years in jail is high if the money is right.
  18. Absolutely 100% correct. Beer Lao is pretty good. Not great but soooooo much better than the swill made here.
  19. Don't know. But if there's more competition and the micro breweries have less requirements placed upon them then maybe the cost of production will be reduced and prices prices might be reasonable. No need to be toxic. Have another Leo or Chang or Cheers and relax.
  20. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country Looks like a pretty obvious difference between Omicron and it's predecessors to me. Sorry something not quite right with the Thai chart. Missing 2020 but you get the idea. Deaths have plummeted since the demise of Delta. I edited out the Australian chart for the same reason. Think worldometer might be having a glitch.
  21. I think it's more about selection. It would be great if the extortionate tax on imports is reduced but as it is I think a lot of us would like to see more micro breweries able to compete in a market without the nonsense needed now to do so. I think you may have missed the point somewhat.
  22. 31% LOL. How about "Almost One Third". Doesn't matter though just more numbers and more predictions. Which reminds me the wet season has to start in the next 3 days.
  23. What an idiot. It's called a coalition for a reason. Still it's always a laugh to see complete stupidity in action.
  24. What it shows is an overall reduction of deaths in both the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. The virus has changed.
  25. I wonder what % is down to Delta? I would think a very big chunk.
