  1. Take family member through the US citizen line. I made this mistake Jan 25th. They took her to the questioning room with a hundred others. I waited 1 hour after I got our luggage. We had a connecting flight and almost missed it. F em. Take her with you she is your wife.
  2. Good thing tourism is hurting. Monetary reasons are the only way this problem will ever be addressed. Maybe by 2084
  3. You need to install a sprinkler timer and some pressure switches . BIL can drink a beer and watch it finish watering.
  4. Why do some of you take the "3rd World" description of Thailand so personally? I say it's 3rd World in quite a few ways. To solve this unhealthy air problem will require. 2nd World trash collection be implemented. But many moo bans voted not to pay the cost. So they burn most everything including lots of plastic. They don't compost but burn all the vegetative liter. How else are the weeds along the canals and fields be cleared? They haven't made a law to stop the purchase of burned cane. That would be a simple step. Cambodia and surrounding countries are even poorer so I can't see this problem can be fixed in the next 50 years.
  5. I don't have any ink. I did watch some ink shows on tv and katvondee work was amazing art. A gal like this is on my bucket list. A foreigner on Koh Phi Phi
  6. I would be very disappointed if I came as a tourist into unhealthy air like this.
  7. I have both types of these drill bits and have used them both many times. In the USA that adjustable one comes with plastic dust collector bowls and we use them on soft drywall usually a I've the head. They work well if you have the 2 cutters adjusted at the same radius. I would not use that but to cut even soft wood but I never tried that with a 2 cutter large dia but. But I do have a smaller one that cuts up to 2" hole in wood and using a drill press is common sense. There is a quality difference and how long they will last and how good of a hole you can cut. I think perfect for soffit holes. I would put them every 50 cm or best to calculate the number needed for the volume of your attic. The small vents have a opening area specification. Need as much inlet area as exhaust. Hard to get to much in a warm climate.
  8. I use Teflon appliance moving things. Maybe 70 cm long and they hook together so you can wheel a fridge out protecting hardwood, tile or vinyl floors
  9. I would say a bow of 2mm in say 1 m would be my acceptable level for Thailand. 1mm better. But if is a ripple of many +&- 1mm in 1 meter that would look bad. If it's already painted I'm not sure more skin coat is going to be stable for a long time.
  10. I'm wondering what is the oldest age Western man that should begin a project like this? Your obviously 2-3 years into the land acquisition, planning , builder selection, fill, walls,
  11. I do think the title is incorrect. She owned them from day 1 and knew it. Correct me if I'm wrong but the safer way to do this is to start a company with 3 employees and put the cycles in the company name.
  12. I wish honest OP questions like this didn't get such ridiculous replies. I can see myself posting a question like this as I realized I may be in deep do do.
  13. So your saying Rooster posts for Thailand Ryan, brit tim, Beach lover and all the rest? Hmmm. This digital World is closing in on each one of us. If a kid has political aspirations he better be good since birth. No racial or sexual posts ever.
  14. Lots of places where a trailer would be trapped in Thailand. Can you imagine the U-turns on the highways?
  15. When will a burn ban be enforced. Let's see. When people look earn to compost. When burned crops can't be bought from the processors. When mandatory trash services are required.
  16. I'm real. I don't live in Thailand but via my hunting trips and now marriage to an isaan woman I have connections to Thailand. May never live in Thailand but I'm keeping up to date on current news on USA, Thailand and the World. There are at least 30 real people here. Many who's words of wisdom get some cred from me.
  17. Sounds like you have thought of many of the details. Geotextile on the driveway sloped surface is a great idea but it will need reinforced side walls to be effective. Nice CADD drawing of the rebar. As far as the hydrostatic pressure on a Wall and your wall is concerned. If the voids near the wall fill with water the pressure on the wall will move it!!!. It will be the same force as if it was a dam of a lake of water. No difference. Filling it with gravel and a drain pipe on the bottom would have been best. Just make sure water doesn't drain towards the wall. It must be very exciting.
  18. It's to bad he didn't use a Samsung Ultra camera with 10x optical zoom. Not sure what it makes me, but I enjoy watching acts like that between consenting fit adults.
  19. I knew it was going to be to hard to leave all those gap holes unfilled but I'm imagining they will sink in 20% because no way were they compacted. Wasn't there a French drain line put in next to the wall? Will trucks be able to get up that entrance ramp after a rain? Surely you would have a plan for some retaining wall safety curb on that ramp area. How much rise vs run does it have? Don't want a truck slipping off into that fence and blocking all work.
  20. 28,000 USD per month??? Nearly I mil baht?
  21. My 80+ USA mom hated the " Black lives matter" so much she ordered some "all lives matter" signs and gave some away. What a crazy World we live in.
