7 or 10 days no way. 

I first came to Thailand to dive in 2016.  The diving utterly sucked but I kept coming back  to find a good  woman. 

I'm sure the compensation won't be adequate. How do you replace an infinite income stream?   Where will they go buy new land?

I was all for this go green idea but recently I have read a few things and watched  this movie.

You do understand that there is a difference between an fully kitted out raf airliner for the purpose of transporting Ebola infected. An aircraft prepared for this with the right medical staff and preparations. 

 

Compare that with a commercial airline with no such things and covid. 

 

 

Didn't  I read  it was a private  contractor plane  that evacuated the ebola cases?  Or am I thinking of a different evac?  The article I read talked about a company who is capable to do a  total interior plane disassembly and cleaning. 

Why wouldn't thailand want people boarding flights to leave to be tested first.  Why don't the airlines  require this

China has requested all business make sure the communist group at each company is fully in place and strong.  And they are going off the deep end.  What was the plan?  The owm the World?  I wonder why US wants to cut off wechat?   If you were a power hungry country this  covid  would be a good distraction.   

Let's get back on topic.  Why only 2 hotels in Krabi will accept foreigners?  Because the other  hotels worry they will hurt

their new growing thai busines?

This is such a low price.   That's 10$ US for 15kg.  Our 20# or about 8.8 kg costs about 16$   where does this low cost gas come from?  Perhaps its low cost to hook people on using gas and then the price will go up.  

I'm not a visa expert.  Perhaps these people were waiting for another possible extension  or maybe to maximize the time they can stay in Thailand  by not starting their vida a month ago.  Chill out.   It's skin off you perfect people  back. 

And to think i sometimes wondered if it was worth the long haul flights from ???????? and jetlag.  I can understand guys with family in Thailand trying this.   But maybe they just focus on work and making money for the future.   The rich  are not having such a bad time during this.   They have  retreated  to their nice 2nd houses, some  have chefs or  can get all the take out and food delivered to their door.  

Her: Oh honey Thailand is making it possible to travel  there.  We do have to stay in a 35 m2 room for 2 weeks but then we are free to go spend money. 

Him: What about covid? 

Her: oh Thailand has been covid free for 140 days, except for 2  unexplained cases in public.

Him: what has their covid testing rate been?

Her: ah. One of the lowest  rates per 100,000 people in the World.  Oh I should  mention there was a big  protest last weekend because of many valid reasons, and now they fear a explosion in cases. 

Him: How can they have an explosion of cases if they don't have covid in Thailand.  

Her:  I tgink I will call for xyz dinner tonight.   Let's splurge and do the hot tub  later.  Forget travel for now.   

I don't think I'm an alcoholic but I don't know if I could go 14 days without one beer A-day

Tragic.  Why doesn't the article state something about where they were gathered?  Under a metal non grounded structure?  Sitting on damp ground?  Facts like this may help prevent this in the future.  

So thais are enjoying hotels at what 10% or 25% of regular cost but these quarantine hotels are going to be 5000-7000 baht a night?  And you have to book through some Thai travel agencies who have agreed to pass the browns  around. 

Do yiu also have to book your stay after the 14 days  through these travel agents.  

Not going to work Bangkok boys.   Yiu lucky guys there now.  Enjoy the low cost everything without crowds or competition.   It must be sweet.

I understand there is more business so that usually means you hire more employees but there has been a hiring freeze and the current administration tried to cut funding.  As far as K1 visas go I was told the fees are set to cover  all the expenses.   One old employee said a review  of a K1 case  took him 1 hour. But why was there a 4 month backlog?  Now 8Or more.   Future fees are going up like 40%.   CR1 and K1 visas are about US citizens wanting to bring a wife or fiance to the US.   I believe there has been a deliberate slowing of all visa types by this administration.  We are a country of 100% immigrants unless your native American.   But now we want to close the gate  behind us.  I think this is done only for political reasons. 

This case is one of the reasons for the current unrest in Thailand.   Maybe soon we will thank Boss and all the corrupt thai people when they are put in their place by the people.

Sorry about the misspelling.   I think you have lived in an authoritarian country to long.  

I do think Thaskin  takes away from this new movement.   To speak  now makes this about him vs the current government.

Wrong!!!   There are internal communications discovered in the other immigration lawsuit that are incriminating.    These lawsuits against trump have been winning time and time again.  The immigration policies are written in law and can't be interpretrd in America  no matter what our leader or ruling party wants.  Get educated.   In fact the day after the intent for a lawsuit was announced the government announced that they would begin K1 processing again
