    What's most amazing about this is that Thais are shocked in any way. This doesn't seem any more dangerous than most stuff you see on Thai roads.

    I'm not sure I understand what you're asking. I was merely pointing out how the left tries to control what people do through various dishonest means, and as such a left-wing person calling conservatives fascist is ridiculous.

    He's just in denial. The past 10 years has seen the passing of the king, economic and political challenges, covid, and the explosion of social media (and its effect on the youth), all of which have had a huge affect on Thailand. Safety is one of these types who has their self-esteem/ego pegged to their image of Thailand, so he can't allow himself to believe anything negative about the place.

    Yes, they should really be referred to as ladyboys. Ladyboys use the term themselves, as do most Thais. They aren't necessarily the same as what we would call a transgender person in the West, where the term is used, and it's important to know who is being spoken about when it comes to crime.

    Here's the problem. The left want to paint anyone who supports Trump as being a fascist, even while they're the ones who are really trying to oppress people. The loony left literally don't want people to be able to vote for whomever they want, they want to have complete control. Ironic that someone would call the conservative fascist, given how the left acts.

    Very sad. Nothing to celebrate, even though it once again proves the point that these dogs are killers. I wonder if he was, up until this incident, a passionate defender of the idea that these killer dogs are actually very gentle and wonderful with kids, as so many are.

    I figure she bumped into him, he said something like, "watch where you're f*cking going", and she started recording and attacking him, demanding that he wait for the police to arrest him. Likely she was convinced that the f-bomb gave her carte blanche to use whatever force necessary to subdue him and his wife.

    Thais are incredibly shallow, but they aren't really shallow in a nasty way. While you might experience a Western person treating someone badly because of their appearance, Thais are more likely to comment but not really care. I'm sure you will be fine.

    Absolutely mad. Bump into someone, they swear at you as a result, so you attack them try to detain them. They even go as far as putting their hands on them and tearing their clothes, over words, and still think they're in the right and the police will help them. 🙄
