It used to be that the thought of being recorded meant that people would avoid doing bad things. Now it seems that often people feel emboldened by the idea of making "content".
He just explained this. They get face from having a nice car as many people see it. Hardly anyone sees your home, so it doesn't gain you as much face. Thais are a lot more concerned about what other people think of them than how they actually live.
Not really. It might have been around longer or appeared in more places because of this, but when someone sees Western culture and wants to live in that way, there is no coercion involved, they simply like that culture.
