  1. I don't think it has been for years, possibly decades. The happiest countries are racially homogenous and highly patriotic. I'm not complaining, that's just the way it is.
  2. Kind of lax. Reveal entire face and head before entering the shop, with door locked upon entry. I guess it's good that they actually still trust people. ????‍♂️
  3. It's true. Despite what we were told in cartoons and movies, the unpleasant people seem to prosper and everyone else just lets them do what they want. I don't see how having a large age-gap can be immoral, unless there is a suggestion that the woman is uncapable of making her own decisions or is being coerced in some way. The downside is mainly that the guy is going to die years before the woman. If she's OK with that, and OK with his age and appearance, then there isn't much else to think about. (Most women who outlive their spouse are actually OK with it, unlike men.) I would say generally yes, but her parents should probably be OK with it.
  4. Read the article. You think nobody paid Joe or Hunter for regular access to a VP?
  5. Here we go labelling everything you don't like a conspiracy theory. ???? You missed out right-wing and Nazi though. Sorry, but even with a "thought stopping cliché" you aren't going to make regular people think they're wrong about something that has become common knowledge.
  6. Then you should know how involved Biden Sr was with Hunter's business.
  7. If he's having regular phone calls during business meetings, then he's involved with the business, even if they thought they could hide it.
  8. I think people being held accountable for their wrongdoings would be the best outcome. ????‍♂️
  9. Isn't this from the article: "House Oversight Committee chairman James Comer said Archer testified that the value of adding Hunter Biden to Burisma's board was "the brand" and said that the then-vice president brought the most value to "the brand." He also testified that Burisma would have gone under if not for "the brand," Comer said, adding that the elder Biden was put on the phone to sell "the brand.""
  10. I think, as the chap says in the article, allowing himself to be hired to provide support to a company sounds pretty slimy of Biden Sr.
  11. But some other person could have done all this and very much discussed his grandson's business dealings with him. Your example is meaningless.
  12. I'm not sure why you're ignoring what the article actually said and substituting the above fiction. I presume you like this version better as it is less damming than the actual facts? Unfortunately, you won't be the judge and won't get to choose how the evidence is presented to them.
  13. Wasn't it something about a company paying to have one of the Bidens on the board to allow them to benefit in some way? I don't think the president/vice president can hire himself out like that.
  14. Shocking. Absolutely shocking. What on Earth gave them the idea that this type of behaviour would be tolerated in Thailand?!!
  15. The guy's a major troll. Not only is he lying, he's trying to use words that non-insane people sometimes use to mock the left-wing nutcases. "Safe space" is a well known left-wing term that has become ridiculous to the extreme. The same with "snowflake" and "triggered". These two are quite the pair. Their standard MO is to try to argue, try to silence, then once that fails and it's clear they've lost the argument, they start abusing people.
  16. How on Earth would people complaining about pronoun use be snowflakes? Do you even know what it means? We haven't always used pronouns in this way. You're being disingenuous. It's oppressive and makes communicating more difficult. It's ideological and people should not have these sorts of things inflicted upon them. One group shouldn't be able to force people to say things they don't want to.
  17. Typical right wing projection game. Nobody is fooled. People are well aware of the way that some far-left people are behaving now. How do you think the word "woke" organically changed its meaning in the first place?
  18. No. You're pretending that woke is being used as an attack word. People are using it to describe something they perceive as being negative and harmful. You don't like that, so you want to silence them. This is because people who would likely claim to be woke started to behave appallingly and it became clear that they were anything but the "woke" that the word used to mean.
  19. So, people complain about something being inflicted upon them, clearly state who is doing it, why they don't like what these people are doing, along with what they suspect are the motivations behind it are, and the best you can come up with is pretending that they simply don't like the people? That's your best rebuttal? Do you think people can't see anything else that is being said?
  20. And who would have expected it would come from the "liberal" side? Actually, it's the people saying "please stop inflicting this upon us" who are the ones being scapegoated and demonised.
  21. Infected with "wokeness", many people seem to believe that while a woman can say she wants a tall rich guy, men have to focus on personality and ignore looks. Feminism's one hell of a drug...
  22. A lot of Thai girls seem happy with a lazy Thai guy who they end up supporting. It's a crazy place.
