I do find that Lazada are much better at notifying you with delivery dates, except for the “ your item will be delivered within the next hour “ message which is usually within the next few hours. Shopee on the other hand give you a longer delivery date then all of a sudden, 3 or 4 days before, are calling you to say they are arriving !

Thanks Personally, off-peak is preferable but only on a weekend for me, can’t see myself charging after 10 pm, way past my bedtime especially on a long trip. Historically we have always stopped at PTT ( wife likes her Amazon and Seven fix ) and will probably continue to do so. PEA is cheaper but presumably fewer charging stations available. Suppose I will prepare by setting up a few accounts on the different suppliers and then charging will be dependent on time and location, a little test on each supplier locally before embarking on any long trip. We do tend to decide on the spur of the moment to travel up to Chiang Mai or down to Chumphon for example. But I guess, economy wise, Off-peak is cheapest, PEA next, then the various gas stations and malls/hotels/restaurants as a last resort ?

That presumably is at a gas station, whereas the FB post was talking about EV PluZ located in a a mall, seems like gas stations have a regular price 7.5/5.5 baht whereas malls, and presumably restaurants or hotels etc have a premium charging rate of 9 baht

I know you have solar and use MG charger sometimes but what would be your recommendation for charging on a longer trip, PT , PTT etc ??

I see a post on FB today complaining about the price of charging in the shopping mall, the post was specific to EV Station PluZ . They were charged 9 baht a unit ( pump prices for EV PluZ are 7.5/5.5 baht) . Does this apply to other energy suppliers also ?, if so would explain the lack of customers at my local mall , Central Ayutthaya, with around 10 chargers have only ever seen one charger occupied.

I have only had one incident with Lazada ( I use both Shopee and Lazada ), ordered 8 packs of alcohol wipes and only 5 arrived. When questioned the seller initially asked for my unpacking video, being a relatively cheap item I hadn’t made one, he then told me to return as he had no more stock. In the end I let it ride as was still a decent deal for 5 items instead of 8 which what the seller was probably banking on when faced with an order for 8 and he only had 5 left. I compensated with a bad review, unfazed I still receive messages about offers from the seller.

Only film for the central screen ( Info screen ) . Which I think is already standard.

Just started today I get a full page size blurred image of the ad running at bottom of page on my iPhone. I have to click the “ X “ to continue, happens every time.

According to this photo ( taken in a Thai showroom shortly after Seal was released ) it is an LFP battery. ( which kind of of goes with the European manual which calls it a starter iron battery ) What advantages this has over a lead acid I don’t know. Anyone ??

Coins are not the same as Cashback or the current fad Golden Banknotes . I use coins when I remember have about 8,000 now. What I don’t understand is these Golden Banknotes from the 11:11 promotion. When I try to cash them in or exchange for coins etc nothing seems to happen.

Any recommendations for window film ? My current Jolion in Grey( a light grey ) came with a 3M film worth 11k ( Hybrid I think it is called ) 40% front and back and 60% all round, nothing on the sunroof. As it is a light coloured car with lots of chrome the light coloured film looks okay. On the Seal i will be looking at de-chroming ( badges and wheels ) so will be looking at a blacker window film with a similar 40% front/back, 60% all round and the max on the roof . Banders wasn’t impressed with the Hi Kool Black on his MG so I might splash out on the Solar Gard Black Phantom as a black(er) film on the Seal, will be more aesthetically pleasing imho. At 23,500 baht I wonder if that includes the glass roof ? Solar Gard had a promotion price, basically doing the roof for free, not sure if still available. Any thoughts on Solar Gard gents ??

While it is true the Dolphin wasn’t offered with free wall charger the Seal is offered with an ABB charger and free installation.

Okay, am not doubting you. I think we must all see colours slightly different, I haven’t seen the velocity blue enough to see the changes of colour but I do see it with the space grey, I also see it with the Frost White Atto 3 near my home which at times I see a blue or purplish tinge . In fact I wouldn’t call the space grey a grey at all and I see it more predominantly blue !! Maybe I should have gone to Specsavers ?

Okay then, availability ! Black seems to be still available, in Performance or Dynamic, around our way and on many FB showroom ads, but then again they could have just imported more. Just saw a Black Seal about 40 mins ago, looking good even if it was getting dark.

Definitely the Space Grey and i would say that it changes colour exactly as you have described, the velocity blue is a light blue end of , but I have only seen one in a mall.

In lieu of my own car i have been playing Seal spotting to see which colours are most popular. Seen two in white ( could have been the same car twice I admit ) and one in grey so far round our way. It is a fairly frivolous activity but keeps me occupied !! Initial reactions: It looks extremely wide and low when seen head on . The Space Grey looks a different colour every time i see one ( showroom and photos etc ) today in the flesh it looked decidedly blue ……. but still gorgeous !!

Knock yerself out Although if this is an accessory I might change my mind ! For the more conservative buyer this also available.
