@BKKBike09 Can I ask, do the voice commands on the Atto 3 work as well here as they appear to do on the AUS and NZ versions ? ( YouTube videos ) In particular the ability to change fan speed, temperature or audio volume and channels etc ? Seems like a great alternative to fumbling with the screen while driving. Disappointed that the voice commands on MG and Haval are only in Thai language here, although both these have limited commands anyway. -

Nope They just pop up on the FB groups I follow and as the Dolphin is “flavour of the month “ there’s plenty of comparison with MG4 and Good Cat. -

There were plenty of Atto 3 owners trying to sell their free wall charger , with installation rights, on FB for 12/14k , they will be hunted down now ???? -

The OP hasn’t given us much to go on, but lets assume he wants how much it will cost to get from A to B by car ? Depends on vehicle and speed driven but a general guide. 2 baht per km for a hybrid/economical car. 3 baht per km for a larger car/pickup

Neta V with the top spot for registered EV’s in Thailand for the month of June . Could the announcement of a price increase for Neta’s cheap and cheerful have helped ? ……… just sayin’ -

Not too much to get excited about over this model imo, nothing stands out for me. The front light cluster looks OTT, more suited to the bigger front end cars like Haval. The excessive wheel arch trim adds nothing either, in fact detracts for the aesthetics imho. The space age lighting and olde worlde trim seems very contradictory, but that might be just my viewpoint. A roomy and light interior but perhaps at the expense of rear loading space though. But , competition is healthy to keep prices down and if the proposed 610 km range combined with a competitive price tag comes to fruition then maybe AION will find some success here. -
You obviously don’t understand that this thread is about someone trying to get a cheap haircut in BKK not another opportunity for you to prove you are more Thai than Thai themselves .

If I helped someone and they offered me money I wouldn’t accept it but I also wouldn’t feel insulted . Why would you feel insulted, superiority complex ?

Thanks for the update, always good to get a first hand report . I noticed recently that the “ Batman “ moniker had been dropped from a car at a mini motor show near me and only stated Atlas, whether it was the same spec tyre I don’t know. Also the European version was destined to get a Continental tyre on their Atto 3’s with a small spec change. Also seen on FB many have upgraded the shocks and springs at a 27/28k price, some hopefuls trying to sell the old parts. The Atto 3 certainly seems to have sold well and am seeing far more of these on the roads than any of the other EV’s. -

@petermik I bought an extension breaker bar from Lazada that came with 17,19,21 and 23 mm sockets, I was surprised that 17mm fit ( my ZS ), difficult to see the size when they are buried in the wheel itself and have the plastic nut covers. I suggest that you buy something like this: NOTE: this version not available anymore, I bought it in Dec 2020

My ZS uses 14mm thread bolts and takes a 17mm socket

Being of Irish descent, “ to be sure, to be sure “ works for me. Admit the service has improved greatly in the last few years but I interrupted its natural flow with a OA to O visa conversion and it took 13 days to get approval last time despite my application in person 1 week earlier. Now my online and in person due dates are aligned so fingers crossed i will be back on track for online next time .

GWM hoping to get a better hold on the Thai EV market via a battery factory here , no mention on the makeup of the battery though. https://www.zigwheels.my/car-news/gwms-new-battery-pack-assembly-plant-opening-soon-in-thailand -
Indeed, Owl appears to be an easy going sort of guy who puts up with a lot, a bit like myself ( i lived a marriage of convenience for 10 years before pulling the plug but no kids involved so an easier decision ) Difficult to judge the situation, only Owl knows which way to go, but i would say Mrs Owl has been living this lie for many years already and it has certainly got away from her. What would clinch it for me would be any signs of remorse. Owl is definitely between a rock and a hard place and not jeopardising his relationship with Mildred must surely be on the top of his list.

Well it’s looking like girls might not be top of his “ desired sexual partner “ list but i think it’s too early to say for certain. Certainly very immature and might not have made a decision either way yet .

Yes, I agree, my son in law doesn’t have it either, sort of a last resort type deal. Failed to get into school, a family member suggested we enroll him at this vocational ( not community as I said before) college. At the interview the teacher said “ let me guess this is your last resort ? “ I would like him to pursue a career in something that he likes ……….. are there jobs available for eating and sleeping enthusiasts ?
