The U.K. has over 30000 new cases a day and it’s not on any countries Red list ?

Covid isn’t going away, the numbers will fluctuate depending on how many tests are carried out, my concern is the knee jerk reaction the authorities will take if there is a spike, press the panic button and shut everything down again.

No tests no cases, reduce the number tests, last year the case numbers were very low but so were the number of tests. We will never know the true number of tests/cases are, the government controls that to keep the people in control. Mass gatherings are banned but there were hundreds in Pattaya for the Music Festival. From what I seen there was very little or no social distancing and people drinking alcohol, will there be a spike ?

So what number of cases would be acceptable to you before Chonburi fully reopens, Chonburi has a population of over 1.5 million, percentage wise the numbers are very low.

Why don’t realise there will never be zero cases as I think that’s what they are trying too achieve ?

Unless some one is monitoring the scanners most people ignore them, the Friendship Supermarket the entrance is manned, you take your temp. and a security guard sprays your hands

When I applied for my Non O in April at the London Embassy Health Insurance was mandatory, the Insurance I had for my COE covered it.

Fact of life unfortunately but why shut everything down again, we can’t go living like this forever.

They have had enough had 7 months to organise a return too school but apparently they have been sitting on their butts hoping Covid would go away.

All social distancing to be observed ?

Could they have had the infection before returning too school, would it not have been sensible too test the kids before they returned ?

Could be spike in Pattaya after the music festival no way will social distancing be observed.

I remember in the U.K. Fish and Chip shops put the price of chips up because of the cost of new potatoes, the price never come down again when the potatoes were old !

A colleague has been informed he requires a Covid Passport before he can leave Thailand issued by the Amphur Office or he won’t be allowed too leave Thailand. I have no idea where he got the information from. He has a vaccination certificate from the hospital which I said would be ok for his flight via Amsterdam into Dublin, I know it’s a daft question but he doesn’t want too book a flight, there is an 8 day waiting list currently before the Amphur Office can issue a Vaccine Passport.

Covid speeded the process of the demolition up as I don’t believe the owners would be receiving any rent for the bars and Covid moved the demolition program forward.

The restaurants/coffee shops in Tree Town are packed out most nights, no alcohol being served so what’s the difference in serving alcohol, oh I forgot alcohol is a super spreader. Quite a few people will have lost their potential income as the Made In Thailand bar area is being demolished approximately 63 small bars, is this what the authorities want ?

I am 70 years old and have never driven a scooter and I don’t think the busy roads round Pattaya is the best place too learn.

What’s illegal too ride on the road ?
