  1. Western media are not under government control, unlike Russian media. Do you have a credible alternative to Western media?
  2. Trump did nothing to call off the mob until after it was clear that they wouldn't succeed. That is a very big deal. The nation's Capitol was under attack and the President did nothing. That alone is more than enough to disqualify him from any public office.
  3. Intelligence about Iraq WMD's was ambiguous, which is what Saddam Hussein wanted. Without pressure from Bush and the chicken hawks the intelligence agencies would have emphasized the ambiguity. I never called Bush Hitler and don't recall anyone else doing so, but then you're known for making stuff up. Really? And what time were the contents of the laptop verified to be completely untampered with? Link? A standard Trump response, when accused of something you are clearly guilty of, accuse the accuser.
  4. A bunch of people stupid enough to believe Trump were in the Capitol with bear spray, tasers, and make-shift weapons to seize the seat of government and prevent the certification of the winner of the 2020 Presidential election. They may have been stupid to think they would get away with it, but that's what they were trying to do. It's amazing that the conservatives who freaked out over Obama wearing a tan suit are trying to pretend the Capitol assault was no big deal.
  5. How many armed people did it take to hijack the planes on 9-11?
  6. Do you really think Putin is so stupid and paranoid that he thought Russia would be invaded? Putin invaded Ukraine because he wants to rebuild the Russian empire. Putin hates NATO because it presents an impediment to rebuilding the empire through conquest. Countries bordering Russia know this, that's why they want to join NATO. No matter how much you try to dodge the point, you are arguing that Russia should be allowed to rebuild, through conquest, its empire.
  7. The intelligence service that was pressured into inventing a justification for the Iraq war by Bush and his chickenhawks, that worked with social media to delete or flag false or misleading posts, and that said Hunter's laptop had the hallmarks of Russian disinformation without passing judgment on whether it was. Posts like yours are the kind of false and misleading information that too many people fall for.
  8. Ridiculous. Of course Russia had a choice other than invading, it was the choice to not invade. If the Ukrainian people want the west to stop supporting them I'm sure they'll let us know.
  9. Now you've got it. That's what Trump and his supporters wanted.
  10. If Trump wanted to peacefully stop the certification (what legal means do you think he had available to do that?) then he would have tweeted to call off his followers as soon as it was clear that they were staging a violent attack on the Capitol. Instead he watched it on television, ignored all calls to do something, then only sent out a tweet praising the mob and repeating the stolen election lie after it was clear that the certification would proceed. There is absolutely no justification for what happened that day. So Trump defenders try to believe it was no big deal.
  11. I know you don't like to read, but this has already been covered. "A document, titled “1776 Returns,” which federal prosecutors said was used by the leader of the Proud Boys, lays out a plan to occupy Capitol buildings on Jan. 6, 2021, using covert operators to let "patriots" inside government offices in an apparent effort to force a new election." "Enrique Tarrio, the former leader of the Proud Boys, and four other members were indicted on seditious conspiracy charges this month. Tarrio has twice been ordered detained until trial." https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/court-document-proud-boys-case-laid-plan-occupy-capitol-buildings-jan-rcna33755
  12. I'm curious, were you in the US in 2016? Did you notice that the 24 hour cable news networks gave him ridiculous amounts of air time for free? Trump is an obvious sign that 24 hour "news" has become infotainment at a terrible cost. Yes, I know, infotainment for both sides. Trump didn't just benefit from that, it's what made his campaign. As to whether I would believe Trump or MSM; I would definitely believe MSM news stories. Opinion pieces I would consider more skeptically.
  13. The " shattered window beside a barricaded door into the Speaker's Lobby," provides important context.
  14. Your obsession with guns would be amusing if it weren't disturbing. There were zero hijackers with guns on the planes during 9-11. Does that mean they did nothing wrong?
  15. A link to a google search? Seriously? That is your idea of substantiation? Where is your source for your claim that "And Hamas supports barged in and shut congress down for a while, and just got kicked out."? There is an obscure military acronym, PIDOOMA. I'm calling that.
  16. Still no sources. I don't recall Hillary Clinton ever challenging the election results or the press ever reporting anything but facts about Russian planting fake stories. If you have sources showing there was anything else, post the links.
  17. If what is being used to attack Trump? Are you referring to his actions and those of his supporters on Jan 6? Of course that is being used to "attack" him, if you think factually describing events is an attack.
  18. The police and courts didn't brushing any of that off. If you think unarmed people walking around the Capitol is all that happened on Jan 6 you are too far down the rabbit hole to be saved.
  19. I assume you are at least conceding that Russia did interfere in the election. Regarding links to campaign officials, Danderman123 has identified the best known. Trump also had a keen financial interest in being friends with Putin: "Trump signed a letter of intent with a Moscow-based developer, I.C. Expert Investment Co., on Oct. 28, 2015. Michael Cohen, chief counsel for the Trump Organization, and Felix Sater, a Trump business associate, led the Trump Organization’s negotiations with Russian officials until at least June 2016. During that time, Sater repeatedly sought for Cohen and Trump to visit Russia and discuss plans for a Trump Tower in Moscow." https://www.factcheck.org/2019/04/what-the-mueller-report-says-about-russian-contacts/ Now it's your turn to provide links.
  20. I did a quick search on "hamas supporters disrupt congress" and found nothing. You'll have to provide a link.
  21. Technically not a lie, but certainly an attempt to mislead. "Babbitt attempted to climb through a shattered window beside a barricaded door into the Speaker's Lobby," https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Killing_of_Ashli_Babbitt
  22. Yes, the majority were probably useful idiots. However there clearly was an organized attempt to use these useful idiots to seize the Capitol and hostages, as described above.
  23. They tried: "The chatter included reports of a man with an AR-15 in a tree on Constitution Avenue who was accompanied by two men with pistols on their hips. Another officer radioed, “I’ve got three men walking down the street in fatigues carrying AR-15s, copy, at 14th and Independence.” "The recordings aired during the June 28 hearing in which former White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson testified that Trump reportedly “was angry that we weren’t letting people through the [metal detectors] with weapons.”" https://www.cbsnews.com/news/capitol-riot-weapons-deadly-dangerous/ And they had other weapons: "According to court documents reviewed by CBS News, 39 defendants have been accused of wielding "deadly or dangerous" weapons that weren't firearms, including Tasers, tomahawk axes, crowbars, flagpoles, a knife, an ice axe, a firecracker, a stun gun, baseball bats, fire extinguishers, a wooden club and chemical spray." https://www.cbsnews.com/news/capitol-riot-weapons-deadly-dangerous/ They also tried to have weapons nearby: "In a court document filed Monday seeking the continued detention of Kenneth Harrelson, one of a dozen members of the Oath Keepers charged in a sweeping conspiracy case against the group, prosecutors cited newly discovered communications allegedly showing members discussing storing their weapons at a Comfort Inn in Arlington, Virginia, knowing that possessing such arms within Washington, D.C., would be illegal." https://abcnews.go.com/US/oath-keepers-stashed-weapons-hotel-potential-jan-violence/story?id=77048420 Your attempts to minimize Jan 6 are really weak.
