  1. Is it just me, or does it seem like the guys chatting up the officers are always the ones that have difficulty? Dude askes me something I try to answer, I don't ask why they want to know.
  2. Looking at the pictures, I would get a price on a new roof.
  3. That's why it's so refreshing (albeit sometimes frustrating) that immigration here is actually trying to control it.
  4. Never had a Rabbit card expire or even not work.
  5. Indeed. Could be. Only to the left, most people on the right think he's fine. Certainly better than what we have now.
  6. Do you really think the people working at immigration spend their free time perusing English speaking chat-boards?
  7. Pence getting in the race can only help Trump.
  8. I would let them know. How is one sure of anything? My US card is the big one, the Thai Citibank card is only about 1M. You do not carry a credit card? Citibank has been great to me so far, but their consumer business is/has been taken over by UOB so not sure how that will pan out. You're the one that claimed you could not get a bundle of bills in your pocket without an obvious bulge, not me.
  9. Well, a couple weeks in and I'm still happy with it. Things I like: It's big, 16kg so over twice as big as the old one. It's quiet. The old one had gotten noisier over the years, but the new one is way quieter than the old one ever was. It does not generate nearly as much heat in the laundry room as the old one. The clothes seem like they come out softer that the from the old one. Light inside when you open the door (or turn on) It's heavy. Weight is generally a good indicator of quality, the washer doesn't shake at all (so far) and the washer-dryer stack has not moved a millimeter since it was installed. It's high. Dryer opening is at eye level, and washer is a good bit easier to get laundry in and out of. Things I don't like: It's black. Looks good now, but I assume it will start to look dingy with age. Probably the washer more so than the dryer. The door is black glass, which means you can't really see the clothes tumbling unless you turn the interior light on, and then it's not great. Same with the washer. It's heavy. Tried to slide the stack out a bit to reconfigure the hoses and I think I might have to wait for my boy to help me. Not sure: It has a rack that fits in the dryer that you can use to dry shoes and whatnot without them tumbling. Have not tried it yet, but it seems interesting.
  10. Only if you use clear paint.
  11. What does that have to do with you wearing tight trousers? I did understand the point you were making. Perhaps it just that you are not clear on how credit cards work? If the card is cloned, they cancel it and overnight a new card to me.
  12. On the contrary, I thought your response was relevant as it was on the same topic, I just don't think it answered the question. Is that clearer? Had you only said yes, the answer would have been clear, but when you qualified it with "...it is my opinion that those with no personal experience are absolutely unable to provide any sort of unbiased assessment." it became unclear. Personal experience could mean any number of things beyond actually using it, yes?
  13. I'm sorry, I thought you said: My bad
  14. What I thought I asked you was if it was your opinion that only people that use it are able to provide an "unbiased assessment"? What I thought you answered was: "Yes it is my opinion that those with no personal experience are absolutely unable to provide any sort of unbiased assessment."
  15. Yeah, it's been five minutes, the loadies are growing restless...
  16. Not surprisingly, reading comprehension is not your strong suit, huh?
  17. A bundle of thousand-baht bills is about the size of a large phone and from about 12 to 18 mm thick depending on how dirty they are. Then why carry around a bag full of money? Apparently very tight trousers if you can't get a bundle of bills in them without a big bulge. Try not folding them over. They'll overnight me a new one.
  18. Brilliant, someone who does not own a diesel (and has expressed how ridiculous he thinks they are compared to glorious EVs) is telling someone who does own a diesel that he is wrong about how nice the ride is. Amazing.
  19. Au contraire dear Richard...errr...Dick, can I call you dick? Are you trolling me again? .
  20. 'nuff said...
  21. Yet you posted pictures and asked. No.
  22. Dude, you do not need me to validate you, if you want to carry a man-bag carry one, it makes no nevermind to me. And to be clear, when I go shopping, I also carry a bag (typically rolled up in my left front pocket) but honestly, I don't spend much time checking out the ladyboys and the number of "straight" guys with man-bags.
  23. When a guy is secure enough where they do not worry about what it's called, do not ask others what they carry, and don't post pictures of their bags. But, if you need reassurance, I would only call #1, #2 & #3 f-bags, #4 I'd call a bag, computer-bag or satchel, #5 I'd call a backpack and #6 I'd call a duffle or stuff-bag.
  24. I think it safe to say that even heterosexual men take a bag when traveling.
  25. What do you wear that you can't get 100K in your pocket, Speedos? That's only one bundle of bills. I regularly get 30K in my wallet, and I could easily get at least 600K in my two front pockets. Oh, and I have a card in my wallet (that I keep in my back pocket) that holds about four million.
