Is PTSD real or only weak people?
Hummin replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
When everything goes quiet and you got to much time to think, that's when it escalate for many. Especially young people who see no future is more affected than us, or my generation, we could just walk up to a random place and ask for work, and most likely you would succeed in a few days. People who struggle with self confidence today, I'm pretty much sure meet the famous wall quite fast! -
Is PTSD real or only weak people?

Vulnerability Have alot to say, and you can be born with it or also created when you where young. There is alot of theories about where the vulnerability comes from, but ptsd is real, even among the best and strongest soldiers, policemen, firemen, extreme sports, or any place where you experience dramatic incidents, and you have no chance or possibilities to reset your mind before it creates long lasting damage. I believe the new phenomenon is we today have awareness and words for it, before people did not, and we knew them as those who fall out of the society as drunks, drug addicts, homeless etc, or just those who struggle in silence, but still manage their days. Others seems to not becaffected by it, and been through alot of dramatic happenings myself, I cant say Im to much affected long term. Maybe because I learned to talk and debrief such incidents instead of trying to escape from what happened and the feelings it created. People with alot of emphasis, or to much, can maybe be more vulnerable than others? -
Do you believe in natural selection
Hummin replied to georgegeorgia's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
You look at it a very narrow timeframe how long humans kind have evolved and life on this planet. Most is ot ready for a larger scale of simultaneously happenings and the dead weight will die and not survive. Be it physically or they just do not have any skills that will save them. -

Many out there who risk themselves in stupid stunts out of boredom, but still useful resources during difficult times when brave stupid men is needed to do creative dangerous actions for the better. Anyway nature give and takes, so yes natural selection is still something in progress and will always be as long there is life on this planet. -
And if inexperienced no common language either, unless you speak Thai. Better to find one who already had a few falangs, and hopefully learned a few things.

Any one doing the OMAD diet ( One Meal a Day )
Hummin replied to MrScratch's topic in I'm Too Fat Forum
If overweight it is okay to do temporary diets like Omad or keto, and then adjust your balanced diet. And it is not really that hard to know basis food that in combination is healthy no matter what official health guidelines says. Mediterranean and Icelandic diet is healthy diets, and most know what they should not eat to much of, or not eat at all, but when people get fixated they get single minded and can not think clear anymore. I did keto 3 months, and it made me able to change my orign diet to something better and long lasting balanced diet. Eating eggs, fish, clean meat with fat, vegetables, healthy oils, little fruit, oat, plain youghurt, variation of nuts, coffe, alot of water,,,,,,, no additional sugar, sweetener, pops, little alcohol, no nicotine, ,,,,,,,,, -
Girl friend is not free either ,????

One single question, what is the problem with balanced diet, little bit of everything? I'm not talking about sugar, not processed food, but healthy seasonal food! I know the challenge when it comes to discipline among most people and the reasons why people fail, but if you have discipline to follow one rigid diet, you should manage a balanced diet to? -

What is the cleanest and nearest beach located near Bangkok?
Hummin replied to Goodboybkk's topic in Bangkok
Closest and best beaches no doubt, Koh Larn, no matter what wind direction you have a beach with ok water. Cha Am is at best at Jomtien level depending on season of course. -
The question is, do you ride it like a sports bike? Or ? See you laughing on our posts earlier ????

How many points do you reckon as a decent wine? 95-100 Classic: a great wine. 90-94 Outstanding: a wine of superior character and style. 85-89 Very good: a wine with special qualities. 80-84 Good: a solid, well-made wine. 75-79 Mediocre: a drinkable wine that may have minor flaws. 50-74 Not recommended

A bad habits have to be replaced with something else, and hopefully for you a healthier one. -
Me and my wife can if we need to live fine with food and monthly expenses for 15-20k on our farm except insurance for me and wehicles. It even cover a meal or two outside with drinks, and some cheese and youghurt as well a lamb leg at makro. Not really a bad life and as long you have something to wake up to, and also things you have to do, it can be a good life, as long you know you don't have to live like this 24/7, but you do it because you can. Those who state living cheap is not living, they really do not know hard earnest work and lifestyle. It feels good to disconnect once and awhile, and everyone should try it at least once. Life quality is not always about how much you spend a month to make an illusion about good life. But I do not expect everyone to understand what I mean, because so many have never experienced real life, growing and collecting food for their own needs.

Okay, back to the book I understand

More important tell me what motorcycle you compare youre tires against. I got 4 bikes 4 different purposes, and each and one of them have different shoes for different riding purposes.

Then you are way above average of most here who live here as an expat. When you know where to live, you manage to find decent hotels for less than half price. Marriot Sukumvit 22 we lived several times for 6k a night included breakfast.
-
When we travelling as a couple we spend around 2500 - 3000 a day on food and hotel. When I travel on motorbike a hotel is typical 800 baht, food and drinks around 800 a day as well. Diesel and gasolin on top of it.
-
So where did the money go? Hotel 6 000,- a night?
-
Really ???? Some think tires is not important, and any tire cheap or expensive is same same, well I'm sure you guys all wear Lolex to, and believe it is the same as a real one! Good luck if you like to push it wet or dry conditions.

Need to renew prescription glasses and sunglasses for both of us. A good reliable not necessary the cheapest and quickest one. Quality above anything else, but not bad if good price versus good quality, and reliable enough to send. Silom area in Bangkok, but also willing to make it other areas as well if necessary. Hopefully able to make curved glasses as well.
