My Isaan life cost me on average 30k a month, spending about 800k + on food, wine, travelling, car, motorbikes and insurance. This is Thailand expenses, not working related travel and living expenses related to work, or visiting family home.

Same for the dunlop that came with Honda cb500x 2017, <deleted>ty tires.

Buying race tires is waste of money for normal road idiots. Race tires need temperature and even on hot days in Thailand, there is no use for them. But a tire is not just a tire even the oldest most experienced riders state so. I like to push the limits a bit with or without load, and I feel difference from cheap tires and more respectable tire makers. Even Metzeler is recond as a cheap tire, it is a product Pirrelli bought and standing behind, and are excellent tires for any condition. Buy what you need for your purpose, and my purpose is sport touring all season, and therefor need a middle classed prized tire. I do not compromise km against price, and therefor very rear I get more than 8k out of my tires.

5 Reasons to Become an Expat in Laos
Hummin replied to Jonathan Fairfield's topic in Laos General Chat
When choosing as an expat you have to try to look at least 10 years in to future where they are going to be. Looking at Cambodia and Laos now, you know China investing heavily right now, and then you know where the country is going in the future. Good luck -
Any one doing the OMAD diet ( One Meal a Day )
Hummin replied to MrScratch's topic in I'm Too Fat Forum
Humans can adopt easily to any diet and thats what remarkable for humans, that we can survive on almost any diets. Still we have phases and lifestyles where different diets can be optimal and also health issues where some kind of food trigger your illness more than other. Myself Im triggered by to much carbs so I try not to eat to much, but still some I do, and perfect for me. My grand uncle eat alot of pure fat when he was young because he worked hard in the forrest during winter, and was the easist way to have enough calories. He eat mixed food all his life, and managed to become 96, my grandmother 94, and everyone in my family managed to be more than 80 years old eating seasonal mixed food. They where all born before 1900. My mom and dad passing 83 and 84 now and healthy enough to still hit the dance floor, and enjoy mixed food with a glass of wine. Non of them is obese. -
Any one doing the OMAD diet ( One Meal a Day )

Just a question about your saliva glands, and your gut health when you obviously getting less saliva from chewing on Omad, what do you do regarding reduced saliva? -
I believe for most who state they do not go to Pattaya, it is to state Im not like that! And that feels important to them be it for their family and friends back home or for their self here in Thailand. Many wifes and gf do not want to go to Pattaya either, and some have to because their man want to live there. It is a bit more complicated than just Like or not like Pattya for most. Pattaya comes with a stigma

Still we are influenced by theories and patterns we most likely learn and experience, and Im very aware of mass influence as mass illusions, as well my own illusions I can create if I work with my mind and want it to be true. Survival mode is often a grip on some kind of an illusion to hold on to, be it temporarily or it becomes a lifelong illusion. People who never question the rules or their beliefs have their tools when they meet challenges, but other people who question their beliefs, the system, and are not rooted when <deleted> hit the fan, they are more likely to create their own Illusions to survive, to hold on to, just to have the feeling of sense and an explanation why they are hit so hard. In a perfect world, we had all the answers, and we worked for the same goals, peace, wealth, love, sustainability without the devil to intervene over and over again and again.

My experience is those who live there frequently visit bars, as I remember you also have admitted before in previous posts. It becomes a lifestyle and it becomes normal. I useally visited for a few days party, and to be true not much else I found interesting since I did not play golf, and instead do pretty much everything else Thailand have to offer of watersport, climbing, motorbiking touring. I prefered the nightclubs more than the traditional beer bars, but there is a few good ones there where you can watch sports 24/7 with a decent crew and decent regular customers. And to be social it means alchohol no matter where you go in the world. Very rear boys meet up for a coffe unless it is breakfest time.

Registration/Recognition of Foreign Marriage in Thailand
Hummin replied to Basso53's topic in Marriage and Divorce
No other reason if some crisis happens, and there is an advantage to be registered as married to get extended stay, priority to travel back to your wife in Thailand if seperated from each other. Thats why I want to be registered now, and get marriage certificate translated, translation stamped and verified at the embassy and for then registered at our Ampure. -
The most understandable reasons for not living in Pattaya except the smell that hits me every time I visit my friend who live in one of The Base Tower, is to become bored, start drinking to much and degenerate themselves to become an regular bar monger with every side effect that can have on a mans mind ???? Some can handle living in sin city, but not everybody. I just do not thrive there enough to stay, but for a few days I can visit, but now with a wife, I know better places to go and better places to spend my money. But if I did not drive myself, Pattaya is an ok place to go, but still would choose Ao Nang before Pattaya, or any Island. The biggest pluss with Pattaya, it is close to Bangkok, airport, have everything you need, even an Island next to it, and easy cheap transport around.

You to missed my point totally, byt seperate from that I agree in your post. Same for me when someone state the earth is flat, and present a one hour video to prove it. I would not see it, but out of curiosity I have actually seen a few shorter ones, as well from moon landing deniers. I'm more interested to learn why they believe in something that's to me obviously not true, and same goes for other personal beliefs. I'm curious, very curious why they believe the way they do.

What I think about your statement in previous post, is you underestimate other people and ridiculous them for using sources when posting to make a statement, especially YouTube. I will agree just serving a link, is a bit lazy, but if the content is good, it sometimes is not necessary to add anything. My original statement was about making a comment to someone without even bothering checking first is like reading the headlines and make up your mind what the real story is. Lazy and ignorant. Better not to comment at all.

That's quite interesting statement. Nobody have pure discoveries without some kind of inspiration or teaching, and claim you or your thoughts and thought processes is self made is either a bold statement or pure ignorance. Make a pick ????????

How do compare Bangkok with Pattaya and with Chiang Mai?
Hummin replied to Goodboybkk's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
3 different destinations with different activities as well athmosphere. All dependes on what you searching. One place have beach, other place caotic big city with everything a big city have to offer, and third more countryside village city tourist place. Less pollution in Pattaya, but depending on what time of year you arriving. Common for all places is food, alot of food- 34 replies

Depended on where you live, in decent condominiums where they have good administration you avoid most problems also noise.
