8 years ago I was looking for appartment around 8 million, but there was so many fouls or details I found that constantly put me off from finalize a buy. Insted we escaped the ity during covid, and built a small farm for less than a quarter of the price I was willing to invest. Now I have other plans than staying in Thaland for the next 10- 15 years and happy I did not invest. My idea when building in Isaan was intil last spring, was to stay in Isaan to I was around 70, but as we go, e make new experiences, and we tend to make new decisions, or with we could. Most important, do not invest more than you are willing to leave behind you, there is thousands of prospects available for sale, while some moving faster than others, others do not sell att all, and even worse, very fee is willing to pay marked price to rent.

I got a nice shower and special treatment at the old airport Don Muang back in early 2000. I came from Koh Tao via Koh Samui same day, and had a long transfer and bought an 2 hour VIP service so I could relax , shower and change to more proper clothes before I fly out. I had no idea what I paid for up front.

Marrying a Thai Wife: Overrated or Underrated?
Hummin replied to SoCal1990's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
So many ways and possibilities to be offended, and we can choose to not let it bite us, or we can be the victim, and play it out. The nature of Thai, and many other nationalities is just pure ignorance, and can with my hand on my hearth admit I have been one of them. Might still be a besserwisser and a pain in the ass for some, but then I obviously show them I enjoy it. Right here at AN -

I do not see why you should be offended by so e Thai who either is just ignorant by nature, or just serve everybody asking a polite question out of service policy. You should see what my wife have to go through at some hotels. All I can say, arriving Lebua Chatrium or Hilton compare to some other hotels around Chao Praya river, and can mention Amara as one of the worst experiences, even I have given them her copy of her Id card while I check in, so basically, she just need to show her id card and they hand over the key. She either check in before me, or after depending on my flight areival. Never even thinked twice about the general thais ignorance. Never will -
All depending of the amount you put in. Anyway, always a pleasure to communicate with you. You are welcome 😁

Why not just eat a few brownies? Takes at least an hour to kick in, and lasts for 6 hours or more.

Marrying a Thai Wife: Overrated or Underrated?

Both parts must have or do something to maintain attraction in an relationship. Sad thing, very often both parts quit being interesting for each other after settled down, or do lot have time or make time for each other. Something I learned while I was constantly working and traveling. Now as semi retired making good and right priorities and priority my wife and some of her interests as she do for me following me, cook, and care for me. I know its a cliche, and some puke reading such obvious things, but it works for us and many others, if you are with a partner who have understood the same things. Most important is, being friends and have interest in each other. Say good night, kiss and hug, and same in the morning. Small things in the daily life goes long way. -

It also take some motivation, dedication, dicipline and a little bit more than common understanding, or be willing to understand som cultural differences to succeed and maintain an healthy relationship. Basicaly both parts must be willing to adjust to make it work. Most seems to come with a fixed package, and if it doesnt work for them, then it is not worth it. I can can understand some younger retires enjoys the single life, but there comes a day, when being two is a good thing. I also believe being in an healthy relationship contributes to better health. Edit note: A healthy relationship, could or can contribute to better health. -

Everything can be simplified same as my description as your understanding. In one sentence, I help her she helps me. We both contributes to each other lives as good we can. A relationship is more than mutual exploitation, it is also mutual respect, responsibility, and caring for each other as well stimulate each other to be the best version of your self, but now I think 50% already started to puke just by reading all this obviously points involving being in a relationship 😁 -

You could look it from another perspective, you want a good wife, but you cant get one? The hypocrisy goes both ways you see. What you think of me, I really do not care, and if you do not believe there is other values than yours, fine, thats your experience, from your life, your life eperiences -
