Am I a cheating bad guy, or would you do the same?
CanadaSam replied to 2long's topic in General Topics
Happens more often than one would think. The GF looks at me like I'm crazy, when I point it out, and pay the extra. -

Please visit a psychiatrist if you feel remorse or need validation for this vile behavior. -
Windfall for the cops! Both seem to be bad people, will pay through the nose, to get out of this %hit.

Polish Biker and Sidecar Driver Hurt in Thailand Accident
CanadaSam replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
What strikes me is the complete idiot driving the car, taking the video! He stops to protect the sidecar, not the guy lying on the road, from being run over! -
I dunno if it's "proper" dark side, but I always enjoy my meals at A&E, almost everything on the menu is tasty, and reasonably priced.

I always read google reviews for everything, restaurants, bars, massage places, etc. Only the massage places reviews are completely useless! How often I walk into a 4.7 star massage only to end up with a 1 star massage! And the frustrating thing is that these idiots give really high reviews, without even mentioning the name of the masseuse!

I am always suspicious when I go to a known company website and get information to go to another page, without any prior warning through SMS, news websites, etc. Much too easy to do via hacking, especially when payments are involved!

Buying a new TV --- is it now essential to have Wi-Fi?
CanadaSam replied to 5davidhen1's topic in IT and Computers
Non-smart tv's are really very cheap these days, just have a look on Lazada, you can get a 32 inch one for just over 1000 baht. Search for digital tv, not smart tv, or android tv. Should work fine with plugging into the wall for your cable tv. -
Star Wars Quiz Nite 2 May!! Yay!!

So sad that Bangkok has Quiz Nights, Comedy Nights, etc., and Pattaya has nothing of the sort! -
Original Elite Visa ForSale

I'll be the first to offer you something, 200,000 baht. -
I have had all manner of phones, ranging from 5000 to 40,000 baht. My personal favourite, is the Techno Pova 5G, which I bought a few months ago, for around 6000 baht. A huge battery, which lasts 2 days. A huge screen which an old man like me can see clearly. A huge memory 128 GB which can easily hold all my movies, pictures, music. Amazing phone, for the price, but difficult to purchase, as it is always sold out.

The "genius" behind cryptocurrency is that they make a pre-stated strict limit on the amount of coins that can ever be generated, so it is in some ways, it is similar to other "precious" commodities like gold, etc. There is no way to make more than the initial stated amount. Of-course, it gets more and more difficult to "mine" these coins are more are put into circulation, again, similar to precious metals. Previously, it was scoffed at by the "experts" but now it is proven, over decades. I doubt the valuable coins such as bitcoin will ever lose their value, even if some countries declare them illegal or whatever, there will always be a market.

Fully Electric Songthaews to be Trialled in Pattaya
CanadaSam replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Perhaps they could consider putting SIGNS on them, showing their route? Or is every tourist supposed to know all baht bus routes immediately upon arrival, magically? Idiots. -
Oh, my Lord, the amount of curses these people have gathered thus far, will surely ensure their presence in hell for eternity. Simply unbelievable what they are doing, and why, and where. Defies belief, honestly!

Any recommendations on Condos in Ban Chang
CanadaSam replied to Sametboy2019's topic in Eastern Thailand
You would be surprised at the amount of fairly decent places available in Ban Chang, quite close to the main Lotus Supermarket on Sukhumvit, for prices like 2,000 to 4,000 per month! Unfortunately, they are simply not listed anywhere, especially on the internet, so one would have to drive around the area, and ask around, then call any numbers on signs posted outside these places. -
Well, intelligence, to me, would start with being able to type sentences together, with spaces where they belong. And it does not belong between your last word, and the question mark. IF you had not put that unnecessary space there, it would have read correctly. OK, a little bit of my Obsessive Compulsive Disorder showing there....

Well, the girlfriend and daughter wanted to travel to central Pattaya to see "6000" american "army" guys (I suppose Thai news) and instead I took them for a drive on Jomtien beach, where we were behind a songteow with some fairly obvious american sailors with open bottles enjoying Thailand. Restrictions? I think not!

What do you think about Russians fleeing to Thailand?
CanadaSam replied to TheFatOne's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Put yourself in their shoes, die in the mud, or relax with a drink on a sunny beach. No-brainer.
