Help Please
CanadaSam replied to HandsomeTallFarang's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
I would wait a week or so, because people are predicting that the "covid extension" will be extended past the August 25 deadline. Then it will be easy for you to get an extension.... especially if you're in Pattaya. -
Surprised nobody has mentioned that the FIRST thing you should do is to file a police report and get a copy, and translate to French. The SECOND thing is to inform the French Embassy, who may be able to give you a new passport without your leaving Thailand. Then you can try to get your previous stamps transferred to new passport, with the help of Police Report, and also letter from French Embassy stating they have replaced your new passport because your old one was stolen.

Whenever I have an early flight from Bangkok, I book into a hotel near the airport, usually free airport drop-off, and no tension about missing flight, traffic, etc. Usually very cheap, around 500 baht, for AC and comfortable rooms, on Agoda (use the map feature to find hotels near the airport).

Thank you for quick and helpful replies. Dr., she has been on covid extensions for just over one year! Jomtien office. Thanks again! -
Hi, asking for a friend, IF she does not get another covid extension next week (before 25th July), and gets a 7 day extension to leave Thailand, is there a cost, and how much, please?

I'm surprised nobody on this forum has mentioned that most vitamins, when taken in excess, simply excrete from the body through urine or whatever. NOT Vitamin D. It is one of the very FEW vitamins that can be toxic, even fatal.

A friend of mine in Pattaya is having trouble getting his tourist visa changed to any other type of visa, because of a one day overstay (not his fault, but because immigration not accepting his application on due date, but telling him to come next day). Can anybody suggest a reliable visa agent in Pattaya to help him with this issue, because I think it will entail a lot of visa related stuff like perhaps a border run, another Thai visa for entry, and then also perhaps a conversion to retirement (he is 61 years old). Thank you all!

Hi Bruno, I am not very internet savvy, but I will try to get the package name for you soon. I have tested the speed often, it is always between 30 and 50 MBPS here. But you should know that this is a FIBRE connection, and is only available in certain buildings/areas. By the way, I just got my bill today, it says 249 baht plus tax, and it also says POWER4CONDO 50/20 maybe that is the package name?

There are websites like HotelsCombined.com which give you pretty accurate rates for all of the major sites like Agoda Booking.com and Hotels.com etc. That said you will probably always find the cheapest rates at Agoda.com And I always use the map view to make sure I'm not far from the beach or close to shopping etc.

Find this elderly foreigner who stole a 150 baht bottle of rum from granny
CanadaSam replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Hey! Canadians don't steal! We don't need to! The Government gives even people who don't wish to work, more than enough money to live on! I wonder if this is enough cause for defamation of Canadians? I'll ask my Embassy. -

Covid visa extension March (no issues)
CanadaSam replied to dj230's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Yes, thanks for this useful info. I understand your landlord did the TM30. But a very useful piece of information would be which province, and which office you went to? Thanks! -
I would really like to know the answer to this question too. Also, where to get it in Pattaya (or nearby), and cost? Thanks!
