Personal Accident Insurance from Thai Debit Cards.
CanadaSam replied to JeffersLos's topic in Insurance in Thailand
Jeffers, awesome job, very useful indeed! Are you in the insurance field? Because I am presently shopping around for an inpatient health insurance, and am frankly totally lost and confused! -
Personal Accident Insurance from Thai Debit Cards.
CanadaSam replied to JeffersLos's topic in Insurance in Thailand
IMO, these debit cards with insurance are well worth the money. Last year, I used one 3 times for minor accidents, and it worked, amazingly well, at Jomtien Hospital and Bangkok Pattaya Hospital! I didn't have to pay a dime! I don't know about more serious accidents that require overnight stays, but if you compare the rates for these cards from banks, with actual insurance policies with outpatient coverage, it's a no brainer. I only have real insurance for inpatient only, serious illnesses (if they occur), and choose to use these cards for accidents. -

And of-course, no news on when this is going to happen.... -
Waste of 5 minutes. I thought this thread was about parodies and jokes, only to listen to 5 minutes of shiite propoganda from rocket boy.

You can find out the meaning of life by doing the following equation: 100 - 63 x 6 + 330 x 1 - 510 = The answer IS the meaning of life.

Foreigners and Thais Severely Injured in Midnight Pattaya Crash

Well, happy that the reporter managed to ascertain fault, and sincerely hope the cops do too! -
The car is only as smart as the operator/driver, so best to scrap them now.

To side-track it a bit, why on earth does every bar and/or player in Thailand have different rules to play by? On scratches, some want to pick up the ball and place it anywhere they like. Some want to shoot from behind the line, but they can shoot backwards if they like. Is there no standard? Perplexed!

Yes, they have mouthed what they need to, to try and keep world opinion on their side. But what is going on, in the front lines, show that massive civilian deaths is inevitable, as shown by them firing rockets into refugee camps where a few militants, and many more civilians are dead. And this will continue till every militant (and possibly a million or more civilians) are dead, unless world leaders come up with a viable peace plan, and use their clout to enforce it.

Your post Sir, is absolutely accurate. But you need to understand that the holocaust has left an extremely deep wound in every Jew all over the world, which will take decades to heal, if ever. They take every Jewish life very seriously, and anybody harming one of theirs, gets them and their compatriots wiped off the face of the Earth. They take an eye for an eye, more like an eye for the eyes, nose, mouth, and more. They do completely miss the point of their continued annexation and expansion of their settlements into Palestinian territory being fuel for creating militant enemies, because of the general world indifference. And I fear for innocent Palestinians, because they view all Palestinians as supporting their leaders, who are militants. Yes, crazy times, for a supposedly "enlighted" race, who still behave as animals (on both sides). We can only hope and pray for peace, one day.

Leaving aside the larger issue of the actual cause(s) of the angst between Israel and Palestine, it is mind-boggling to think that there would be no retaliation for the murder of over 1000 people, many civilians, in Israel in recent days past. I fear the days for many civilians (and almost all militants) in Palestine are numbered.

I'd like to know who this "enemy" is, that the Thailand military is preparing to "fight" with such expensive toys! -
Most People Favour Closing Night Venues At 2 A.M.: NIDA Poll
CanadaSam replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There will be hundreds of people trying to sleep (unsuccessfully) for the very few drunks drinking at 5 or 6 AM to loud music, if this was allowed. With the thousands of budding alcoholics in Thailand (almost inevitable in places like Patts) it's about urging them to go home at a decent hour and get some sleep, rather than keep them binging 24/7 to their (and other's) detriment. Easily said, almost impossible to do when you own a condo in this market. That said, I do favour a time like 2 AM for closing, because jumping from midnight to 4 AM is ludicrous, baby steps, guys! -
You asked "how" anyone could spend 20k a night, I simply answered from personal experience, ringing the bell will result in 20k+ easily!
-
How?? Ring the bell.

I mentioned that in the same sentence as ferrari's, lamborghini's, almost all the roads in Pattaya are unpassable for those cars being centimetres above the road.

Dyson have made a name for themselves from vacuum cleaners, now considered the best. Most are super-expensive, 15,000 to 30,000 but there are some around 3,000 baht with 5 star reviews. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/dyson-cordless-vacuum-cleaner-k7-335000pa-suction-power-5-years-warranty-i4831205221-s20517595548.html?from_gmc=1&exlaz=d_1:mm_150050845_51350205_2010350205::12:20563761064!!!!!c!!20517595548!5090266448&gclid=CjwKCAjwysipBhBXEiwApJOcu4CPMJ6557rmZHs4rRcU9G8FA4MNbgPEK8AlSPzRUqJuDRhyza6ZOBoCGrQQAvD_BwE

I can not understand why the people in and around Pattaya don't feel any loss of "face" for the absolutely pathetic "roads" they have and keep on making here, you can't do down any street without going over numerous largish potholes, and what should be "speed breakers" actually being "car breakers", etc. They keep on building "new" roads on stretches which don't really need them to be re-done, and they are done worse then they were before! It is ludicrous, and makes me angry! There are even hi-so people (supposedly connected) who drive ferrari's and lamborghini's on these unpassable roads, who don't bother to use their contacts to DO anything? The people in charge, who have probably travelled to neighboring countries like Malaysia, would have seen that those people know how to build drivable roads, and even pleasant highways, so why on Earth can't they do it here? Vent for today....
