  1. The situation in Gaza was caused entirely by Hamas, not Israel; but you knew that didn’t you ?
  2. That’s because when the BBC did have journalists in Gaza, their own correspondent, Jon Donnison, stood there and reported that the blast at the Al-Ahli Arab hospital was caused by an Israeli airstrike, and not, as it actually was, by a misfired rocket from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) from within Gaza. He is the same BBC correspondent who posted a photo of a young girl lying on a hospital bed with bloodied clothes, with the caption “Heartbreaking, Pain in #Gaza” when it was later revealed that the photo of the young girl was actually taken in Syria. That is why the BBC and are no longer allowed in Gaza; that, and the fact that it is an active war-zone, so the presence of any journalist is a danger to themselves and a hinderance to the IDF.
  3. Pattaya, Thailand’s repository for the sediment of both Thai and foreign societies.
  4. Of course he didn't write it himself; he just hasn't credited the source he copied and pasted it from.
  5. More fodder for the extreme left-wing bedwetters that can’t get over an election; utter garbage.
  6. You have conveniently only gotten the incident partially correct. The judge asked the agents if they had a judicial warrant for his arrest, which is necessary to make an arrest inside the Courthouse; they told her that they only had an administrative warrant and intended to make the arrest outside the court. She then, after adjourning the hearing, directed Flores-Ruiz and his attorney to leave the court by a door leading to a non-public area in a deliberate and wilful attempt to prevent the agents from arresting Flores-Ruiz. She has rightfully been charged with two criminal counts of "obstructing and impeding a proceeding before a department or agency of the United States" and "concealing an individual to prevent his discovery and arrest" Unless you are a left-wing extremist, I can see no reason for you wanting to defend a judge that has deliberately obstructed the arrest of an illegal immigrant; one that was issued an Expedited removal order in 2013, and is wanted for alleged domestic abuse.
  7. Oh look, a left wing extremist defending another left wing extremist; quelle surprise ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ P.S. using upper case letters is against forum etiquette; it is the online equivalent of shouting, so please stop being so shouty, and conduct yourself with a little more dignity.
  8. The left-wing bedwetters on here will be apoplectic about this; bring on the hilarity and faux indignation.
  9. This is an English language forum ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  10. This is exactly the kind of comment that extreme left wing antisemites spout. Making a pedantic point as to whether or not a youngster of 19 or 20 can be called a kid. Stop being an apologist for Hamas; stop trying to deflect from, and diminish the importance of, the most barbaric terrorist attack in modern history. Stop apologising for Palestinian terrorists and regurgitating their propaganda; contemptuous again.
  11. Thanks, that’s a good flag about the return of the old passport. I had assumed, like yourself, that they would be returned together; however, I will be back there for a month and intended to make a prior appointment for a couple of days after I get back, so should be safe. I prefer to keep my marriage extension as it is; it has worked well enough for the last 6 years doing it ourselves, and you know what they say about something that isn’t broken, but thanks for the heads up.
  12. Thanks, and yes, I was aware it is at Western gateway. Custom House Station on two different train services.
  13. Islam; we will conquer using our most powerful tool, the womb.
  14. Thanks; yes, I can use the one week service for an extra fee and get an appointment prior to getting back, and I am near London which helps (Freedom pass on the train)
  15. Thanks Jack and also thanks to Upnotover and Crossy. It was what I was hoping for, and it is logical, but being Thailand I needed to check; yes I have read some of the stories about renewing from here which is why I want to do it when I get back to London Many thanks 🙏
  16. My passport expires in November next year (2026) I am going back to the UK in October this year, and I will obviously get a re-entry permit in my current passport before I go (NON-IMM based on marriage) I am thinking of using the one week service to renew my passport while I am there, but I do not know how that effects my return to Thailand with the re-entry permit if I do. Will I be able to enter on my new passport showing the re-entry permit in the old passport or not. I understand that if I can, I will need to go to immigration later and have all my stamps transferred to my new passport, which I have done before; but if getting a new one will cause issues, I can wait and get a new one from here next year … thanks for any advice.
  17. Hands like shovels, five-o-clock shadow, knobbly knees, and look like a lipstick pig-in-a-wig …… shouldn’t be too difficult even for an extreme lefty to spot.
  18. And what exactly did the previous US administration, and the rest of Europe for that matter, do to end the conflict in Ukraine …. oh, wait a minute, they’ve only had 3 years; probably not long enough for sleepy Joe to find Ukraine on the map, or for the EU to pass legislation through the minefield of bureaucracy in Brussels.
  19. Sorry, but I am not sure because my wife says there have been conflicting reports regarding his nationality. I don't think he has been to the police to report the incident, which is when we would find out for sure.
  20. The tariffs have taken effect already
  21. So, the Philippines, Malaysia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Brunei and Japan, all state publicly that they are extremely unhappy with China’s claim of the nine-dash-line, and some of them with the accompanying harassment of their fishing industries, but you have insider knowledge that they are only kidding and are really happy with Chinese expansionism. …… you seem to have morphed into a total fantasist
  22. Thanks, some valid points, but of course as you say yourself, the muslims in Singapore are mostly indigenous; same with Hong Kong, where the majority of muslims are Indonesian and Chinese. However, this ignores the elephant in the room, which is mass Islamic migration into Europe; and just naming Sweden and the UK as having broken societies is very selective. Maybe have a look at the fractured societies of France and Germany, two countries that have been on the receiving end of much of the imported terrorism. You may find it difficult to tell me any country in Europe where multiculturalism that involves muslims is working. As you say, Trump, despite his faults, is addressing this important issue in the US, something that is not unfortunately happening in my country, the UK.
  23. I don't often find myself in agreement with you, but happy to say when I do; excellent comment
