  1. It’s not clear yet, but you are missing the point; it is called parental responsibility, he should never have had access to the car, and worse still if the parents were in the car as well. They are culpable, not sure why you’re trying to give them a get out of jail card.
  2. RIP Tae What a terrible and completely avoidable tragedy; inexcusably reckless for the parent(s) to give a 15 year old kid a car to drive. Boy and parents all need to be charged and heavily punished, but they obviously have money, so don’t hold your breath.
  3. Not really sure why you’re telling me that; I have no wish to make any transfer at the present time, and was simply pointing out that the OP had misread the warning notification.
  4. Read it again ... it says they can only accept transfers up to £28,000
  5. Thanks for your detailed input. The general consensus of opinion seems to be using anti-inflammatories as little and as infrequently as possible, which is the road I am going to take … cheers
  6. Thanks for your input. I am nearly out of my supply of Glucosamine sulphate, and have just ordered 60 capsules of Hyaluronic Acid + Chondroitin Sulfate, in a brand name Doctor’s best … I will try them for a couple of months ….. cheers
  7. Thanks to everyone that has replied; I think I need to get off the Celebrex, and I’m going to take Sheryl’s advice and find out more about the Hyaluronic - acid - injections
  8. Thanks for a very comprehensive reply Sheryl, as always - your contributions on health matters are priceless, and much appreciated. I looked at both of there articles you linked, and have decided to stop taking the Celebrex completely, and find the best and most convenient way to try the Hyaluronic - acid - injections. I have started swimming again every morning, which I am sure will help to strengthen the quadriceps. Many thanks again
  9. ALTERNATIVES TO CELEBREX ?? I have recently taken advantage of the 50% discount at Bangkok Hospital, Hua Hin, and underwent an “Executive Check Up” You probably know the kind of deal, blood tests for sugar, liver & kidney function, PSA, cholesterol; chest x-ray, full abdominal ultrasound, etc, etc. All my results were thankfully as good as I could hope for. However, when talking to the doctor afterwards for my summarisation, I told him that I have been taking one Celebrex 200mg tablet per day for the last year, to help ease arthritic discomfort in my knee. He said this was not a good long term option because of possible stomach problems as a side effect. He did not offer any alternatives, and so I am wondering if anyone has any views / suggestions / experiences. I don’t want the expense of replacement surgery yet, and it is not bad enough to justify it. I am far from overweight at 175 cm tall and 68 kilos. I have been taking daily supplements of Turmeric capsules, omega 3 fish oil capsules and Glucosamine sulphate for the last 2 years. I have for the last week reduced the Celebrex from daily to every other day, but I do notice a difference ………… Thanks in advance ???? ????
  10. Where does it say in either report that the Australian guy that tried to defuse the situation was drunk ??
  11. Did you have your empathy bypass at a private hospital, or are the Government hospitals now offering this procedure ?
  12. I think I need some of the cake that you've been eating ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  13. It’s only September but you have already been awarded “Victim Blaming” comment of the year. You have made 19 comments on this thread to date, and not a single word of condolence or empathy for a man that has just lost his life; just blaming him for being hit by a very fast car that appears to shown no signs of braking in the video. Well done fella, award is in the post
  14. R.I.P. Fella, what a tragedy; that looks like an enormous amount of damage to the car from hitting a pedestrian. Must have been quite a high speed impact.
  15. It might also be prone to spontaneous combustion ….. best to order a new iPhone 14 Pro Max ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  16. He's well known on here for his anti-British comments, Richard; probably time to start ignoring his trolling.
  17. Inappropriate ….. you display a really special lack of grace.
  18. Not a single word of condolence, or of empathy for her family and a nation in mourning …… … classless
  19. Apologies, I think I misunderstood and have consequently edited my reply ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  20. That's like going to bed alone wearing a condom ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  21. So are you are an Aussie, but not here at the present time; just trying to understand your comment .... thanks
  22. Are you a foreign driver yourself here ?
  23. You call every guess you make a hypothesis, in a transparent attempt to give them credence, or some form of credibility. However, a hypothesis is simply an assumption, in other words, a guess. Your hypotheses do however all share a common theme; to lay the blame entirely with the motorcyclist, and completely exonerate the truck driver. Your prejudice against foreigners in Thailand is palpable, both here, and on other threads; so, as noted earlier, with that kind of bias, we are all fortunate that you are not an accident investigator. Your claim to have driven extensively in Thailand is completely irrelevant to this tragedy, and is just another feeble attempt to give some credibility to your extensive guesswork. And please stop shouting at me using uppercase font; it is very rude to shout at people ….. many thanks
  24. Well I would hope he receives something rather more appropriate than a simple ban from traveling to Thailand
  25. There's a link to the video at the bottom of page 3 .... the incident can be seen after about 20 seconds
