Some Thais have told me the reason they will u-turn in front of oncoming cars is that (a) the onus is on the oncoming car to brake and (b) when someone drives into the back of your car it is their fault. -

I think the dumbing down of students is well overdue. Having Harvard in 4th position globally is not something to be proud of. Get them down to 120th. Can't have students think for themselves for god's sake. Whatever next?

Seeing a dead body will simply make Thais think, I must be blessed because this has never happened to me as I am a great driver. Make them pay loads of money in fines will have a bigger effect.
