  1. "Celebate ecclesiastics" are two words that should never go together.
  2. If it is brought in for industrial use by manufacturers and repurposed by rapists, what's the plan? Close factories down?
  3. I had a browser and found out: The Hotel Act of 2004, specifies that it is illegal to operate a hotel business without a license. But it seems homes can be rented out under some circumstances, so partially right
  4. Hard to believe all had the same strong body odor. What on earth happened on that plane?
  5. I thought Airbnb was illegal here? I may have missed some news. I suppose if they bring in the tourist dollars it doesn't matter.
  6. Every 10 years this happens and no one changes it because of the money prostitution earns.
  7. If COVID-19 is worse than the flu then it is worth some caution.
  8. Not sure if Starmer is the right leader, but hope Labour will support the NHS and the poor (no more food banks!). Britain needs a government focused on people.
  9. When an actor is to drive a car, should he be doing a complete mechanical check in advance - brakes, steering and so on - or does he get in and drive? Is he the person paid to check the vehicle's safety?
  10. I find it hard to dump a whole load of diverse people into one racially profiled group. There are good and bad in every society. I do hope the citizens who are enfranchised do vote and kick out those who want to hurt their democracy.
  11. If some of the other parties band together, they will get more votes than 208 estimated for Move Forward and again form the government. - Move Forward: 208 - Pheu Thai: 105 + Bhumjaithai: 61 + Ruam Thai Sang Chart: 34 + Palang Pracharath: 30 = 230
  12. I always wonder where statistics about illegal substance abuse originates, especially in Thailand where no real research appears to ever take place. It may be true, but is probably a guess so that funding can be requested to put a stop to it.
  13. I guess it proves that if you don't have a witness, documentary evidence, admission of guilt, then defaming someone isn't a good idea.
  14. I have noticed that some uncrowded restaurants try to fill one half first and leave the other empty until it starts to get crowded. It helps the staff to reach customers easier.
  15. I guess you could get estimates for various medical procedures and operations and figure out whether you can afford them by paying out of pocket rather than have insurance. I know someone who does that, whereas I still have insurance through my company. Talking about in Thailand only. My mother had private insurance, which boasted wonderful things, but when she was diagnosed with cancer, the insurance company refused to pay for treatment.
  16. No mention of the kids' mother or relatives they could stay with in Russia. Can he still be conscripted if there is no one to care for his children?
  17. If you have seen the 2019 War of the Worlds TV series, the very sight of such robots will make your blood run cold.
  18. Does anyone else have the feeling he is trying to please everyone without a real plan?
  19. With a suit that glows in the dark, too. The soldier on the right is beaming with pride....
  20. This issue has continued unabated for thousands of years. How does one stop it unless it is made a capital crime?
  21. What is the government going to do? Giving debtors the ability to borrow more or default on loans is foolish. Also commercial banks have clearly not filtered out risky borrowers. It's a terrible position for everyone.
  22. Why don't they force senior police officials to declare their wealth upon promotion, similar to what they do with politicians?
  23. Frankly, I don't see any government controlling urban violence any time soon. Conscripting people into the armed forces may seem like a solution until you understand what they will be taught. Shooting, knifing and unarmed combat. 🤔
