    I think it's the first time I've heard money described as superficial. Try living without it. IME most relationships are superficial and when coming from the province's money and their and their families future is paramount.

    Utter rubbish, Thailand has none nothing to halt the murder of Burmese citizens by the butchers in the Tatmadaw who the Thais consider as bretheren. The usual Thai sitting on the fence handwringing, shrugging of shoulders continues daily. Thailand's soft power is really marshmallow soft when it comes to making the right decisions for it's citizens and others .

    No doubt the general had passed out the fattest envelopes. Any military person should be totally excluded from any role in the senate or for that matter in parliament as a whole.

    It beggars belief that a minister needs 44 advisers, how can he possibly have time to listen to 44 people while carrying out his daily duties. Jobs for the boys, as usual. No doubt 1 or more of them recently advised on the purchase of some electronic gizmo at 3 times the price its available for online.

    I find post to the UK takes around 2-3 week, from the UK to Thailand around 4 weeks by snail mail. That's to my home in Isaan so it might be in the local system here for a while...

    I followed it for a while when I first came here but as there is no real coverage I lost interest. After the institutionalised scandals of racism at clubs in England and the Aussie antics I have completely stopped following it. It is after all a minority sport.

    More white washing over their criminal activity which led to the last coup d'etat and the loss of democracy. If they were of the other persuasion I am certain they would be serving 20 year sentences.

    My haircut every 2 to 3 weeks is 60 baht in a local Thai barber shop.

    I believe it's called bill padding, which can occur almost anywhere. The inflatated cost is for the purchaser to receive a commission for placing the order, all perfectly normal here...

    Personally I avoid all loyalty programs as a scam in the offering. I'm not interested or nor do I need cashback, miles, kilometres etc etc Most lapse after a while and I couldn't care less.

    Another botched job by some mouth in the government engaging his tongue before what he has as brain, probably only 1 cell. Thailand, always flattering to decieve... Similar to the weed fiasco.

    A report done years ago on the water bottle filling dispensers in Pattaya found most hadn't been cleaned or maintained and the quality being dispensed was below safety limits. Buyer beware..
