Thanks for this info @blackcab. I was having problems with the Cloudflare challenges (see my post above) which I managed to circumvent. I do have 3rd party cookies blocked. I have now undone my VPN workaround and allowed all cookies. I was then presented with the Cloudflare challenge which I completed. I can live with the challenge if it only occurs once per session. Will monitor the situation.

In August, Kasikorn changed my daily limit from 5M baht to 200,000 baht. A lot of other people were affected. See this thread:

I spray Chaindrite Stedfast SC 30 round the perimeter of my house and outside kitchen. Dilute the Chaindrite with water at a ratio of 1:40, so 250 ml Chaindrite with 10 litres of water. Repeat every 3-6 months as required. Keeps most annoying bugs outside. You can buy it at any of the big DIY stores and also on Lazada. You can also buy Chaindrite in an aerosol can in BigC etc.

I also have an HSBC account. I informed them that I was living in Thailand over a decade ago without any issues or limitations. New VISA credit/debit cards are sent to my Thai address (I don't have a UK address anymore) before the old ones expire. I can't comment on the availability of the debit card "Touch & Go" function as I don't use it, but my card has the symbol on it.

I had some issues when browsing AN and was being presented with the "I am not a robot" challenge. I discovered that the issue was that the time on my computer (Thai time) was different to that of the country that my VPN connected to (Singapore). I installed my VPNs browser extension and set it to connect to Thailand. That fixed it.

I agree that transaction history matters. An immigration officer told my wife years ago that when using money-in-the-bank method IOs like to see incoming and outgoing transactions in the bank book each month. This is probably why I have never been asked to provide statements at extension renewal time. This has been the case at 3 different immigration offices - Korat, Surin & Buriram.

I often earn Lazrewards (small amounts) by writing reviews about purchases I have made. Never had a problem using them. If you have LR, the next time you make a purchase there should be an option at checkout to use your rewards to reduce the purchase price of the item. I would be happy to accept the rewards they have offered as a refund. I'm not aware of any usage restrictions when using LR. AFAIK the sellers don't have any say as to whether they will accept LR or not and they can be used on any purchase at any day/time.

I've also never been asked to provide any bank statements for retirement or marriage extensions. Like yourself, a copy of my bank book is all that is required.
