  2. About time to promote Thailand as the "Hub of (pointless) Hubs"...
  3. Yes. Few could spell the word 'hospitality', but many, probably 'money'...
  4. I pay more than that for food.
  5. And I thought it was already... All I see is Thais playing games everywhere, and if I ask them, what they'll do next, they usually tell me: "Play games..."
  6. So, what? When did Thai politicians ever listen to economists...
  7. Ironic that Italy already said 'Arrivederci' to 'Belt and Road'...

  10. They will probably forecast 250 million tourists in 2024, generating 25 trillion baht income...
  11. They have pass-marks, but even if the kids fail and fail again, the teacher will "upgrade" (falsify) the scores well above the pass mark, as students are 'not supposed to fail'. 18. Mexicans and Peruvians to Thais 'look like Thais', so perhaps they mistook Arabic for Thai due to the fact that they picked up a few words of Arabic...
  19. Yes, an aggressive fundamentalist form of Islam, willing to use violence against anyone, not that different from Al-Qaeda and ISIS.
  20. Spot on. This is the goal openly declared by Hamas, Hizbollah, and the regime in Tehran. (And none of their territories is occupied by Israel.)
  21. Seconded. Two of my landlords outright refused filing the required TM.30. It made me wonder how many hotels don't do it either...
  22. The answer is based on two things: (1) is the Thai rich and influential, or just one of the other 69 million 'peasants', and (2), if not influential, how much money can he/she make the government when sent abroad?
