60 day tourist visa but got 30 day stamp.
DrJack54 replied to mans-not-hot's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thinking that's a good idea and hopefully minimal fuss. They should alter your stamp to 60 days and stamp your setv "used" After that you can still do your 60 +30(extension) then two border bounce plus extension 60 + 60 210 days -

Sounds like Jomtien. Never was a requirement and never checked. Just ignore it. Rubbish office. -

Not long ago there was few asking about obtaining an e-Visa and does it work to not show it at immigration when arrive and hopefully be given 30 day stamp (visa exempt entry) At some point border bounce and point out the setv for 60 day stamp Your visa is sticker in pp? I wouldn't do as you suggest in your OP.. -
60 day tourist visa but got 30 day stamp.

OP, your immigration office most likely will correct this mistake. At very worst (won't happen) could be asked to return to immigration at airport. -

Helps if you read a few especially recent ones. I posted this immediately prior to your post.... "OP passport is not expired" -
Overstay and new passport
DrJack54 replied to Mui8899's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
First up I didn't give the emoji. It's the OP that is confused. Despite folk asking if his passport is in fact expired no advice was forthcoming. Finally he posted that pp is not expired hence he does not require a pp renewal. -

Overstay and new passport
DrJack54 replied to Mui8899's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Do not understand any of that. He should.... 1. Buy a flight ticket 2. Get to Bkk airport 3. Pay fine 20k and receive appropriate ban 4. Board plane. -
Overstay and new passport
DrJack54 replied to Mui8899's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
No offense OP but that's significant info. If pp is not expired the solution is simple. Obtain a flight out and go to airport. Pay 20k baht and immigration will stamp your pp with overstay and you will be given a ban according to the list I posted. Good luck -
Overstay and new passport
DrJack54 replied to Mui8899's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
In summary seems common advice is to discuss with embassy new passport or emergency travel doc and go to airport with funds for fine and air ticket to home country. While the OP, may have serious overstay, he has understay in this thread and nothing to post since starting the thread. Some have asked pp country etc. -
Overstay and new passport
DrJack54 replied to Mui8899's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
OP, passport country? Assume current pp is expired? asap obtain new pp or emergency travel doc. Pay 20k at airport and be given a ban according to length of overstay. -
Holiday schedule for Immigration
DrJack54 replied to phaholyothin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
The OP deals with CW and seems rattled by small window of holidays and CW has 45 day window. Oh please -
Ignore the post you refer to. So...if applying for non O based on marriage or retirement from a visa exempt or tourist visa entry the funds need to be in bank on day of application. For subsequent application for 12 month extension then funds need to be in bank for TWO months. After that it changes. If extension based on marriage the funds can be withdrawn after under consideration period. If based on retirement the 800k needs to remain for 3 months AFTER extension application. After that can be as low as 400k and back up to 800k TWO months prior to next extension.

Holiday schedule for Immigration
DrJack54 replied to phaholyothin's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
You can do that or leave it till well after holidays. So point of your thread? You are aware of your options -
Again what's the point? If it changes what's is the issue. I still doubt the one example you based this thread on. Granted 400days is crazy. Just an error. Then you post ..... "That’s the second confirmed instance of dates changing. Which office was it? " Then there is a zillion that have the same renewal date for many years.
