  1. Yes. Process outlined in detail in this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1315828-visa-exempt-to-90-day-non-o-spouse-visa-conversion-in-thailand/
  2. Who are you directing this to? Certainly not the OP.
  3. Trolling post removed. @PomPolo thanks for clarification. Perhaps start separate thread when your dates are clear.
  4. You can work while on Non O marriage or 12 month extension based on marriage. You do require a work permit. https://aseannow.com/topic/1308996-non-immigrant-o-visa-and-work-permit/
  5. As per usual form you contribute zero. It is @PomPolo that has posted incorrect dates as pointed out by Upnotover in few posts asking for clarification.
  6. The OP started off that way. At some point realized that his best option is to renew his annual extension and obtain reentry permit for trip back to Holland. His concern is not having a rental agreement. Even that part is not clear. He states..... "Dr Jack thank you for advice.. I will focus now on a1 year extension . Last year and also beforeI had a rent agreement. They wanted to see that and copied it"
  7. OP have good read of couple of posts from @Upnotover I ignored the dates in your posts. Put it down to typos.
  8. No. Keep in mind that when you applied for the Non O they checked your paperwork and gave you a return date. The under consideration is just a formality. You have your Non O just return on date for final stamp. In couple of months apply for your 12 month extension. The critical thing they check for extension is financials.
  9. Sometimes the reason to buy time is to season funds for extension. Married folk can obtain 60 day extension to visa wife to facilitate that. Your suggestion of exiting Thailand to reenter visa exempt would kill off his non O and ability to obtain 12 month extensions.
  10. When you obtain a new passport then yes your old pp is cancelled. However note any valid visa, permission of stay stamp, reentry permit etc remain valid. You can just wait till you do your next extension to have visa info etc transfered. If you have any business with immigration office eg 90 day report etc you can do the transfers at that time. Which immigration office.
  11. Yes and that's exactly what uj posted few years back. At the time I questioned if the 400k had to go back up to 800k for the two months prior to next extension. The answer was NO. Seems both the OP and myself (I'm doing same thing) are aware we can just maintain the 400k till next extension however have opted to "play it safe" by going back up to 800k two months prior to application. Covers both methods
  12. Am I reading this correctly. Currently located in the UK. Plan is for him to come to Thailand for rehab (3 months) and then live in Spain. You must be a good friend (seriously) However a saying we have in Oz springs to mind..."Buckley's and None"
  13. Not this attached thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1336657-how-about-some-diy-optometry-yes-im-in-the-right-forum/
  14. 42 positive emoji (+1 from me) and not one negative for your post. Surprised more haven't posted similar idea to what you suggested. Perhaps cremated here and ashes returned to home country.
  15. OP, very good first reply above. To add, it can depend on what stamp (status) you have in pp. Many just having a visa exempt stamp and looking for another visa exempt entry. Some having an extension or non O expiring and want another 60 days. For me the advice would be to use a minivan border run company (agent)
  16. If you border bounce you will receive a 60 day visa exempt entry stamp. Then when return from Holland you would need start over. Obtain new non O from visa exempt entry. That's possible but messy. They should. Perhaps they want a bribe.
  17. Extensions based on retirement strictly speaking do not require rental agreement. A TM30 indicates your address. A TM47 also shows address. Given your particular situation only immigration office can advise on what's required. You state..."The owner is an ex gf... not like new gf.." Thinking you need sort out your situation yourself. Good luck.
  18. Think that's been made clear. The io wants rental contract (for some reason) and the owner (for some reason) is not prepared to provide rental agreement. Perhaps not even a TM30.
  19. I can only guess at reasons. The owner perhaps concerned with taxes or some such. Ask the owner to provide TM30. Not familiar with your immigration office area. Perhaps consider other accommodation that is prepared to provide what immigration require.
  20. No. He could be on extensions based on retirement and obtain 60 day extension to visit wife.
  21. Perhaps discuss with owner of where you stay possibility of "non binding" rental agreement. An agent or even real estate person could assist.
  22. She can "piggyback" on husbands extension as his dependant. She would need to enter Thailand with Non O status. Immigration is correct. Don't even understand why that was done. An eVisa for Thailand is applied for from outside of Thailand. Currently all visas to Thailand in the region are eVisa. Which immigration office are they dealing with? Some points on "piggyback" covered here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1308150-non-imm-o-retirement-options-for-spouse/
  23. You should not require a rental agreement. Think your immigration officer being inflexible. You could do a TM30. So how did you get your extension 12 months ago without rental agreement. Putting aside trip to Holland your priority is to obtain 12 month extension prior to April 19. You can apply for extended up to 30 days prior to expiry. Obtain that and also reentry permit to facilitate your trip out of Thailand and reentry to Thailand.
  24. You cannot extend your permission of stay by one month. Your only option is to extend by 12 months. From your other post regards rental agreement. You should be able to supply immigration with something for proof of address. Which immigration office? What is your address issue? Do not exit Thailand to obtain 60 day visa exempt entry just prior to expiry of current permission. You would need to start whole process over. New Non O etc. Don't do that. Why are you looking for 30 day extension? Passport country?
