  1. When did you make the online application?
  2. Not every immigration office might be prepared to transfer the visa exempt stamp. Thinking no issue at CW or airport where stamp was issued. He could certainly try at his local office.
  3. Thread has run its course. Thread closed.
  4. Slightly off topic however. My first 7+ years living in Bangkok I could not obtain a TDL as due to frequent travel abroad I could never file a TM47. Wasn't untill covid that did my first 90 report and able to obtain COR at CW. Fortunately for OP he can obtain COR at Jomitien with tourist status.
  5. Thanks for update. Not sure understand this point re banking. Bank statements are often not up to day of application. BBL for example cannot be obtained on day of application. I like many obtain 12 month bank statement few days prior to application. That can also be done early for bank letter. On day of application you can make small deposit as an update and to show activity. The teller can provide photocopy of that page.
  6. CW recently removed TM47 requirement to obtain a certificate of residence. Jomitien will issue the OP a COR with visa exempt entry.
  7. OP, where are applying for your TDL also which immigration office? I have detailed report of obtaining TDL as have many others. Here is link to general guidelines https://motogirlthailand.com/riding-thailand/ I notice from other threads that you are located Pattaya and have visa exempt entry.
  8. Will bump this as I have zero knowledge of "under payments UK pension" Hopefully some UK guys can explain.
  9. For the 30-day extension; Completed TM7 Passport. Copy of TM30 receipt Copy of passport data page Copy of entry stamp Passport photo 4x6cm Fee 1,900 BHT Someone first hand experience at CM may add something. Be aware that border bounces seem to requiring stay of 1-2 nights. Even recently the case at Nong Khai. Go to immigration asap in case they want something "extra". Unlikely.
  10. @tygerstar if you end up doing the run please do a report of how it went. You seem aware of how things have changed for land border crossings. Even recent report of the "friendly" Nong Khai crossing making chap stay for couple of nights. Not sure if he had option of VIP treatment at cost.
  11. https://aseannow.com/topic/1343549-need-to-spend-two-days-in-laos-ay-at-chiang-saen-crossing/
  12. Indeed. However as pointed out in thread. It's a bad idea. He can transfer funds using WISE or other alternative. The best exchange he would get in Bangkok SuperRich Green head office Silom and that will provide less baht and much more hassle
  13. Was there only one overstay. How long? When? Out of interest have you looked at other options recently added to the menu...LTV, DTV, etc. The LTV age min 50. DTV min age 20. Many feeling (not all) that PE visa dead duck in water. EDIT: OP you made a vague thread regarding renew pp and overstay in April last year. https://aseannow.com/topic/1325486-can-renew-a-passport-while-in-overstay/ You would not even state pp country. Suggest more details in this thread to gain advice.
  14. OP, here is thread and in first post I posted link to appointment. I just tried to make appointment and seems to work. Only concern is all slots were available which is not normal. The thread also points out that process time not too bad unlike eg CW. https://aseannow.com/topic/1333181-link-for-online-appointment-booking-for-hua-hin-immigration/
  15. You are not alone. Leaves a void impossible to fill.
  16. That was exactly my point. @DaRoadrunner All the threads outlining "from visa exempt to Non O" correctly point out that the 800k is only required on day of application (actually needs to be deposited day prior) Those using Jomitien were in for a surprise. Jomitien was requiring 2 months. This was back in day of visa exempt entry was only 30 days. Effectively making the transition from visa exempt to Non O impossible. Keep in mind the application for Non O needs to be made with min 15 days remaining on permission of stay.
  17. Anyone interested in TM28 here is thread created by ubonjoe. https://aseannow.com/topic/1149261-immigration-has-changed-their-regulation-for-a-change-of-address-report/#elControls_15078453_menu Not really on topic however useful information.
  18. Plus ~ 3 hr each way. I don't find 4k return.
  19. Where did you obtain your Non O ME. Is that serious. A roundtrip to HK to avoid space used in pp.. Surely a joke.
  20. It's not from date you entered Thailand. For the first extension there has always been bit of debate. 12 months from date of application for extension (that's my vote) or 12 months from end of the 90 day stamp from your non O entry. @Upnotover may have an opinion
  21. When you enter Thailand eg March 30 with a non O marriage you will receive a 90 day stamp. You need to apply for extension after funds (400k) seasoned for 2 months. You will have an under consideration period to return for final stamp.
  22. Change of address along with address notification is now TM30
  23. You should get the Non O and subsequent annual extensions. You can buy a multi reentry permit and go back and forth UK/Thailand with zero concerns. Yes there is modest financial requirements for Non O and also extensions however that 400k can be used as soon as your extension is approved.
  24. Not sure why TM28 was required
