  1. I assume that you presented your marriage certificate and COR to bank and explained the intention to obtain Non O marriage. I'm not aware of any agents in Nakhon Sawan. Have you tried Bangkok Bank and suggested purchase of one year insurance. The agents in Pattaya/Bangkok etc charge ~4-5k most of that goes to the cost of insurance.
  2. No. Read that article previously. I noticed one interesting thing. Actually 2. I won't read again and cut and paste. Firstly stated eVisa application available from "anywhere in the world". What about application while in Thailand. Also Kasikorn looking to provide online payment. Without that eVisa applied for in Laos useless.
  3. @Sheryl you never fail to amaze. What a treasure ASEAN Now has.
  4. Not required.
  5. What I posted was one supporting answer from AI. I very rarely post in threads those results. My previous posts were links to threads. The first step is absolutely make police report
  6. Few incorrect (imo) posts in this thread regarding what to do if having lost pp and also on overstay. Step 1. You make a police report. Correct. Can you make a police report while on overstay. Answer Yes. Will your embassy require a police report to even start process to provide emergency travel document? Absolutely. The following is copy/paste from AI reply. Not convinced about point 5. Suggest with the EC and flight to Malaysia and 20k head to airport. "If you lose your Malaysian passport while overstaying in Thailand, you should: File a police report and get a copy Contact the Malaysian Embassy in Bangkok to: Inform them of the loss Apply for a verification of identity Bring the following documents: The police report, translated into English Proof of identity, such as an IC or driving license Two passport-sized photographs Undergo an interview with a Consular Officer to verify your nationality If you meet all the requirements, you will receive an Emergency Certificate (EC) to travel back to Malaysia Bring the EC to the Immigration Office for endorsement"
  7. At this rate folk will just skip doing 90 reports and cop 2k fine if required for annual extension. I also deal with CW. Mail TM47 acceptable In person visit: no way.
  8. Where are you located. Immigration office? Obtaining a COR (certificate of residence would possibly help) It's a doc banks often insist on. An agent can assist (normally) however you mention remote location. Are you married at this point. OP, you asked same question July 2 and received good advice. Reason I asked about location is due to agent.
  9. The situation outlined by the OP comes up regularly. Here is a thread with links to other similar threads regarding ...Lost/Stolen passport while on overstay. Step 1. Obtain police report. https://aseannow.com/topic/1344244-i-need-helpadvice-on-lost-passaport/#elControls_19398776_menu
  10. Off topic post removed. OP asked advice for someone on overstay and lost pp Stay on topic.
  11. Comments regarding opinion on anyone in overstay situation off topic and some have been removed.
  12. Some trolling posts along with replies removed
  13. 90 report should be possible after international travel and return using mail option. Note TM30 not required for mail report Note for CW folk..you need to post 15 days prior to due date
  14. OP, some folk have given best advice. @Phillip9 one example. You have not indicated exact number of days on overstay. To some extent that is only related to length of ban. He will need to deal with embassy to obtain emergency travel document and as posted earlier he will need report of lost/stolen pp. Flights to Malaysia not to expensive so guessing 20k overstay fine + flight + expenses in Bangkok till he can obtain travel doc etc etc Would be 40-50k
  15. If you are exiting Thailand via air do as advised in posts above. So are you planning on exiting via land border?
  16. @ttkeric suggest when you start a thread stick around for at least short period to clarify questions from posters
  17. You did not mention his passport country. Stated " We're Asians, so we blend into the scenery" Also mention in OP, the guy on overstay has no money.
  18. Thanks for report. This mirrors my experience Nov 5. No TM30 was asked for. She didn't even want the lease I had along with basic copies of pp..
  19. That's why I asked OP for report on his experience today
  20. If possible can you give report. Assume you didn't make appointment. What did you supply. How long did it take without appointment.
  21. Here is link to one of the legal firms to advice on your question and possible follow up questions. https://www.siam-legal.com/Business-in-Thailand/thailand-work-permit.php#:~:text=Before you can apply or,in country close to Thailand. A snippet from link above.... "Before you can apply or be issued with a work permit you must have a non-immigrant visa first. This is required to apply for a Thai work permit in the Kingdom"
  22. You need to have non immigrant visa to work in Thailand.
  23. Foreign transfer required for application for the Non O in Thailand. For the extensions the transfers do not need to be shown as transfers from abroad. Down the track if you ever change from "money in bank' method to "income method" then note for income method (retirement) the transfers need to be shown coming from abroad
  24. For the two months seasoning period you can withdraw/deposit funds as you wish, provided never below 800k
