Your points are correct. It's actually 2 months (not 60 days etc) prior to application and three months after application. Not below 400k in other months. Yes point 2 .. application can be up till expiry of current permission of stay.

Google is your friend. For folk entering Thailand type date of entry is day one + 89 days. That gives new Due Date. Then use calendar to work out window to file. In your example ... "Your starting date is May 4, 2025 so that means that 89 days later would be August 1, 2025"

After trip abroad it's stated that 90 report must be done in Person. However I'm of the opinion that via mail would be accepted after trip abroad. Have read a report confirming that. What's not confirmed is if the report after the mail one could be done online. In person reporting can be difficult for some.

Don't send it earlier than 15 days prior. Having stated that 16 would be fine. Don't post it any earlier than 16.

What don't you understand. Post the report + docs + return envelope 15 days prior to due date. Not 10 Not 20 Not 7 ..... Post it 15 days prior. In some "guides" you may read eg "The mailed report must be received within 15 to 7 days before the report date" Ignore that. Post it 15 days prior to due date.

Being Oz, I also require a Visa to enter Vietnam. The eVisa for Vietnam is very simply and takes about 4 days process time. Tourist visas one month $25 or multi 3 month $45.

When you exit Thailand the 90 day count stops. Upon reentry your count starts day of entry. So next report due date is 89 days after entry. You will not receive a reminder email. You need to report in person. After that first in person report you can then do online reporting.

Yes you can obtain a reentry permit that will expire on date given for under consideration period. Your immigration office does not do home visit? If they do that would be an issue.
