  1. In other words... Wife needs to attend for application process and does not need to be present for final stamp. Simple. Nothing to do with your office.
  2. You should be given a 90 day stamp if you enter Thailand prior to expiry date of your ME Non O
  3. Visa exempt entry is currently 30 days. Several months ...obtain a METV
  4. Have read some of your nonsense posts.. This is another garbage
  5. Not at all. The OP asked a very specific question. The answer to which is very clear. He has one option to open bank account in Bangkok on a tourist visa. I along with others have outlined the requirements and an option. Your lack of correct information is sad/embarrassing
  6. Sometimes yes. In this specific thread I'm surprised with ridiculous suggestions from many. The OP was very specific. Albeit has not revisited thread.. There is only one option for the op and I have outlined that.
  7. Surely a brain fade. Usually your advice is spot on. So a guy in 90,s with wife recently deceased . No funds . Confined to wheelchair out of village house. . Ships off to Philippines. Ridiculous.
  8. Silly idea. Ignore this post. Also you have mentioned the worst possible border crossing to deal with. Everyone should ignore this advice. The OP posted correct advice from Pattaya to Cambodia border. Also using company is sound advice.
  9. This thread is hilarious. Along with all the other threads same topic. Who was the artist that sang "monsters under my Bed" Oh yes Everlast
  10. Do not understand your post If you were under 50 when wife passed then you could not change to extension based on retirement. Also you would not have been changing visa type only changing basis of extension from marriage to retirement. BTW it's 50 not 60. In any event irrelevant for the OP who is 90. Has no money and wheelchair bound outside family home.
  11. On ignore. One last request. Stop polluting threads. This thread prime example. Even the OP has pointed this out. Being ignorant of visa matters only gives so much slack.
  12. I'm currently on Koh Samed after fireworks festival at Pattaya. Actually just back from 2 trips to Vietnam and Oz in between. I have no particular interest in your posts however have assisted you a few. This threads is prime example of you side tracking OP and despite many negative replies from OTHERS you continue. Stick to pub forum
  13. Your posts are ridiculous. How is this corruption. Please explain. It's a border run. You still need to be stamped out of Thailand and back in. Your knowledge of visa matters is extremely limited.
  14. What are you banging on about. MANY folk take minivan for border bounce. Especially Pattaya to Cambodia. Obviously many do not have cars or simply prefer a company to provide a complete service. The OP outline a very positive experience (for him). Others can use that option or not.
  15. The OP posted what suited him. Seems reasonable deal imo especially with pick up. I have a car and would still consider a service as outlined in the OP. To each their own.
  16. In the case of some immigration offices (eg Jomtien)....Yes In any event you used Maneerat so rules are flexible. BTW what was cost. ...5-6k ?
  17. So many weird replies to the OP. His course of action is clear. Especially given that he is immobile. Needs wheelchair outside of the house. Some suggestions even include relocation to Philippines. Not in order but his options are clear. Have an agreement drawn up to have right to remain in house until his passing. Use an agent to obtain extensions based on retirement. No funds in bank and approx 15k per year. If wife has any funds make sure he has access to this via Will or whatever. ... Tick Tock. The OP has contributed little and not returned for 8 hours. Don't think even indicated which province apart from lives in little village.
  18. Indeed. No requirement for her to be with you for pp stamp after under consideration period.
  19. You know nothing about process of opening Thai bank account in Bangkok. Embarrassing yourself. Also check out Thai driving license forum to come up to speed on current requirements for TDL in Bangkok
  20. Indeed. If not shown as such then would require "credit advice" from Bank that received the transfer.
  21. Normally just most recent TM47 receipt would cut it. If you have a lease or current TM30 that could suffice.
  22. The OP can change to extension based on retirement with use of an agent. Seems to me the most sensible and perhaps only option. Broke Confined to wheelchair out of house. Wife advanced cancer.
