  1. OP, so your friend needs less than 4 months. Can enter visa exempt and obtain 30 day extension then exit Thailand and reenter visa exempt+ extension. Equals 4 months. OR Enter with SETV plus extension only provides 90 days. Yes can do border run however on balance the first option seems more simple.
  2. Of course not. CM rules on TM30 just one example. The OP was asking about Jomtien specific requirement to return after 3 months. A record of the return visit is not made. There have been many threads regarding this..
  3. No. First up Jomtien immigration does not record any return visit. Often the "return in 3 months" notice is not given. It's a haphazard nonsense..
  4. No problem at all. Just usual rubbish from crackpot immigration office. Next extension just apply as usual..
  5. Nup. OP, for 6 months stay what you outline is feasible. From visa exempt entry + 2 border runs all entries with extensions= 6 months. OR include a tourist visa. METV provides up to 9 month stay. Perhaps overkill but certainly an option..
  6. The most recent hotel you checked into, ask them for screenshot of the TM30 they filed.
  7. There is a one day grace for the 500b fine however normally an overstay stamp/comment would be made..
  8. The only requirement is to maintain minimum 400k during under consideration period. Nothing stopping you from using the account provided min 400k maintained.
  9. OP, the extension stamp takes half a page. Likewise a reentry permit. Suggest you attend your immigration office and outline your plan to obtain extension and then apply for new pp.
  10. You were lucky. Both CW and Laksi generally require TM30 for 30 day extension to SETV and visa exempt stamps.
  11. Health insurance for extensions from a non O-A would be required if based on retirement. Not required if based on marriage. Extensions from a Non O do not require insurance based on retirement or marriage.
  12. Read earlier posts. For one day overstay you will NOT be fined. More than often you will receive an overstay stamp. You were fortunate.
  13. Wrong. The OP has been given solid advice from myself and others. Move on.
  14. My comments are to give advice to OP. Not really interested in your situation
  15. By all means report back. When you go through passport control you present your boarding pass along with pp. I suggest you will be stamped overstay
  16. That often would not work. If boarding pass is required it's not possible to get airside that early
  17. You will not be fined for one day overstay however you most likely will be given overstay stamp in pp It's not a big deal Chill
  18. No. A SETV would give you a temporary permission of stay. 60 day stamp. The VISA is then USED (done). Subsequently you can obtain a 30 day extension to that permission of stay. The visa is NOT extended.
  19. A non O based on marriage or retirement cannot be extended by ONE month. In fact visas cannot be extended. You can obtain a 12 month extension to your permission of stay. The only other alternative re extension is 60 day extension to visit wife
  20. Not quite. You require a TM30 along with TM7 with photo. 1900baht And some basic photocopies of your passport.
  21. How did you enter Thailand. Guessing visa exempt entry. 30 day stamp. You apply for 30 day extension at your local immigration office. Same answer if you entered Thailand on a SETV. Forget notion of police office. Naive OP
