  1. As I posted. No reason why you could not obtain successive single entry Non O visas. Seems like an attempt to cover the removal of the multi entry Non O visa that was previously available. For extensions the 400k is fairly minor issue as the funds can be used after extension granted. Any trips out of Thailand would require a reentry permit..
  2. Bank letter along with bank statement is valid for 7 days. Best advice is to obtain those day or two prior to application. CW requires update on day of application. Bit tired of those with BBL posting can do via ATM. Excellent. For others a simple 100baht with teller on day of application shows update and also "activity" In the account. Ask teller to provide photocopy of last page to show this. Note SCB does not have branch at CW.
  3. However you opted for 90 + 60 + a new Non O presumably for another 90 .... What's your question? Will immigration have issue when you fly back to Thailand from Vietnam with a new Non O..... ?
  4. ME Non O marriage or retirement are not longer available on the e-Visa platform. Not to be confused with METV tourist visa which is still available.
  5. If I'm reading this correctly you entered Thailand on a Non O marriage. Given a 90 day permission of stay stamp. Obtained a 60 day extension? Must have been extension "to visit wife" Then plan to have mini holiday in Vietnam and obtain another Non O. Basically wash and repeat. Shouldn't be an issue however just one person's opinion I believe it should be an issue. What's the issue with obtaining a 12 month extension. The financials are minimal.
  6. You don't need to do it at expiration of permission of stay provided you do not have a reentry permit. My guess is you do not have a reentry permit? You can bounce any time and enter Thailand visa exempt. Then apply for Non O at your immigration office
  7. Not being rude however you have zero knowledge of the process of what you would be trying to obtain in Vientiane. That would be a Non O e-Visa. You would only attend consulate to make payment. IMO forget that. Do a border bounce and with visa exempt entry obtain a Non O at your local immigration office.
  8. Yes you can. Personally suggest 400k in the bank if possible. You also need to check with your immigration office as some reluctant to allow combination method however immigration rules certainly allow it Some discussion here.
  9. At some point in the future do the process when you have time. If your plan is agent route then you could obtain the Non O in UK of Thailand. Agents can do the extension 3 months early. You cannot.
  10. I found your previous thread on this matter very rambling.... Seems you want agent to change from extension based on marriage to based on retirement. Agents won't help with marriage unless just hand holding. As mentioned above. There is a post with link to several good agents. PM nonsense not required. Just contact the agent directly. Not difficult.
  11. OP in thread posted above by upnotover scroll down to post from Tod Daniels. He posted direct links to several agents. All good..
  12. TM7 + photo You also require banking documents etc. You mention L lines. Are you dealing with CW.. Did you season the 800k for two months. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/ Here is fairly recent report. Note if you make an appointment you print out hard copy.
  13. Having a Non O certainly will enable/assist you to open Thai bank account. The bank may also request a certificate of residence from local immigration office.
  14. When you enter Thailand with a Non O you will be given a 90 day permission of stay stamp. You need to transfer 800k baht to a Thai bank account in your name only. After the funds have been in account for 2 months apply for extension in the last 30 days. Do you have Thai bank account?
  15. Thanks for link, however.... My understanding is that for METV you had to apply in passport country or country where you have Permanent Resident status. The OP obtained a METV in Philippines
  16. Which immigration office do you deal with? Edit: seems located Pattaya. Start with Maneerat Soi 13/2. Google is your friend.
  17. It's not expensive. There is a charge from immigration office also. It varies. For example CW is 200b
  18. The lease is a bonus. Yes with TM30 and lease immigration should be satisfactory to immigration. Keep in mind that Pattaya has good agents that at very least will assist with COR if any issue. Probably not active however given you will enter with a Non O and previously had account with Kasikorn I would go to bank first without the COR. Explain you are applying for 12 month extension and wish to transfer 800k.
  19. Slightly confused. Of course you mean 800k each in bank account in your name only. You are obtaining 2 separate Non O + subsequent extensions. If one of you could transfer the 65k per month then that person could use income method. Both doing income method is bit of overkill. We all have own particular life styles but for two people with total of 130k per month is on upper side. FWIW: I transfer approx 110k baht per month for the two of us. The way you outlined the transfers in your OP is correct. I transfer 14th of every month from my Oz online bank app using WISE. In your situation some would suggest using an agent.. 1.6mil for a couple tied up in Thai bank with minimal interest is not nice.
  20. Flying visa exempt the airline at departure may/will require an onward flight within the 60. As for other questions re immigration at arrival back in Thailand your concern is understandable. If you say that you are going to obtain a Non O at immigration, I can imagine them saying "why not get visa in Hanoi. Push comes to shove then explain the reason as you outlined in the OP Apart from that which immigration office do you deal with. Requirement funds from abroad for Non O application should not be required as the funds have been in Thailand for some time.
  21. I don't know what's going on there. Here is my transfer of ~ 1.9mil on June 4. BTW note transfered instantly. Not minutes.
  22. The OP was bit mixed up. Going by the stated limits then this is clearly regarding transfers using WISE. This week I had to transfer 4mil using WISE. I use Kasikorn. Hence two transfers of approx 1.9mil
