  1. It's only 15 days prior for application for non O . For extensions to non O it's up to date of expiry of your permission of stay. Some offices allow up to 45 days prior. eg CW, CM etc
  2. I don't understand Thailand. The previous appointment site was working like a jem Then change it. I like the saying ..."if ain't broke don't try fix it"
  3. I posted link above. I just hit it now and this comes up. I'm just on a cell
  4. 23,000 Few rubbish posts from me and many helpful. Move along expert. You have made numerous posts in this thread... Mostly rubbish.
  5. I cannot provide definitive advice. My understanding is that she could obtain a non O (retirement) then enter Thailand and subsequently apply for extension based on dependant. One option would be to consult agent or immigration office for advice. One thing I'm pretty sure of is that she needs to obtain non O prior to enter Thailand.
  6. Yes it is. Walk in no problem.. Reentry que ticket desk far right ticket desk. If you do not have TM8 etc filled in they will send you back to desk for forms. That area provides forms etc Recently appointment site has changed. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/
  7. Couple of comments here.. I'm attending CW immigration for extension Wed Oct 4. I checked for appointment. First available is Oct 23. Que # and wait not nice option currently. No disrespect but clearly you seem inexperienced. You can obtain reentry permits at BKK. They provide a service for filling in TM8 and photocopy pp pages and Photo. 200baht. An option to consider. What permission of stay is child have that would require reentry permit
  8. Apologies to the max. Somehow earlier I read your post that with a visa every country does NOT have the right to refuse entry Of course every country has the right to refuse entry with or without Visa.
  9. That would require her to also maintain the funds in the bank for extensions. Better option is for her to piggyback on husbands retirement extensions as dependent. She would need to obtain non O outside of Thailand.
  10. You do need to have made a 90 day report to apply for 12 months extension. My first 7 years in Thailand on extensions (retirement), I never did a TM47. Aside: re your application for extension make sure that you apply 15+ days prior to expiry of your current permission of stay. Also that your 800k has been in bank for 2months or more
  11. I looked to make one yesterday at CW. First opening was something like Oct 23. EDIT: My mistake I was actually making appointment for Re-entry permit
  12. Just poking your thread as not much helpful replies.. I personally don't have expert advice on this as I'm not familiar with old pp being used and be given a stamp. As you are aware... Vientiane is not at friendship bridge. What is you friend applying for . Vientiane requires appointment. If they are applying for tourist visa I would just attend appointment and see how it goes. Worst case is refused and enter Thailand visa exempt. Then in future have another crack.
  13. You asked this ... "Question, will they ask me questions at the airport when I enter thailand again?" I answered with this .... "It would be good idea to obtain letter from your school "supporting" your time away from school." Will not contribute further. Clearly from your post in Jan 2021 you have zero interest in study and happy to go the "volunteer" route. Fine that's OK just be upfront. You state .... "Will extend my study visa with 1 year before I Go, then go for a reentry permit by" Out of interest how much does your agent charge for this next extension?
  14. It would be good idea to obtain letter from your school "supporting" your time away from school. This is what you posted in Jan 2022..... "I want to have another ED visa (or volunteer visa) so I could stay another year in Thailand. Came Feb 2021, had a tourist visa and then a ED visa that expires soon." ????
  15. A single entry non O can be extended by 60 days. It's referred to as "60 day extension to visit wife"
  16. Hopefully can sneak in a question rather than start a thread. So off to CW next week for 12 months extension retirement. Normally have everything prepared. This year I plan to obtain photos etc done at the photo print stall lower level. Is that possible? In regards photocopies can you just hand your pp to shop and say "retirement". Finally anyone had experience with obtaining 12 month bank statement at Kasikorn Bank at CW.. I do have a reason for not preparing in advance TIA....
  17. I was under the impression that Saigon had stopped issuing ME Non O EDIT: seems ME Non O marriage is available. https://aseannow.com/topic/1277961-ho-chi-minh-and-non-o-visa-experience-today/
  18. It will be your second 90 day report. You should be able to do that online. It seems that online at CW is having issues for some folk currently. My last 2 reports have had to done in person (for unknown reason) Be aware that there is also mail option however that should be done 15 days prior to due date. Edit: just noticed this current thread .... https://aseannow.com/topic/1308014-tm-47-90-days-report-online-jomtein/
  19. For once we agree. So often this occurs. So frustrating esp when folk take time to help. If anyone wants a giggle check out other OP threads... "Neighbor stealing my water" is a funny one.
  20. Excellent summary. I was not 100% sure if immigration stamp USED for single reentry. I always obtain a multi. Just for others..the single is 1000b and multi 3800b. So do the sums on what suits you best.
