I have booked flight for DMK only to realize afterwards how picky immigration became lately
Do not understand your question. Being Oz I require a visa everytime I enter Vietnam. Unless it's a multiple entry visa for Vietnam I would not be able to be flown back to Vietnam if refused entry to Thailand. In any event given your circumstances, minimal funds, extensive time spent in Thailand etc ..... If I was an io at Thai airport there is no way you would get an entry stamp. As for your other post mentioning two visa exempt via land per calendar year... That was removed. Now no stated limit.

Your thread concerns entry visa exempt via Air. Land boarders different animal.

Amazed. Is not permitted. Things such as credit card bank book etc useless. BTW: are you visa exempt to Vietnam. Being flown back to Saigon might not be an option.

Link to "safe entry" Company already posted. OP states does not have funds for that or even onward ticket. As stated stated earlier OP, you most likely won't get a boarding pass without onward flight. Google "onwardticket.com" Cost ~ 15usd.

Two things. Firstly not sure where you are flying from however flying visa exempt from eg Vietnam the airline at departure will almost certainly require proof of onward flight. Not having 20k is asking for trouble.

You are correct re new pp in future of no help. The TDAC is simple. Can do it up to 3 days prior to entry. Good luck. Please post a report after entry to Thailand. Hopefully uneventful. BTW don't sign anything till such a time it's clear no chance of entry.

Vietnam Tourist Visa - why not easier?
Don't know why you think it's a scam. (haven't read the thread however) On the internet there are many "agent" sites. They are actually travel agent offices you see everywhere. Prior to eVisa you used one of these companies to obtain the "approval letter" Now it's a walk in the park. You must use the government site. You apply for the eVisa with entry date same as your flight. On the application it has depart date. If for example you are applying for 30 day tourist visa then it won't allow you to enter a date outside that window. You always enter the max length of stay allowed. Does not work same as SETV entry to Thailand. Don't understand the AirAsia bash. I have flown with them zillion times to Vietnam. No issue. The flight ticket re order of names you mention won't/shouldn't be an issue. Airline checks the eVisa print out against the passport. Yes you enter at the entry point you filled in on application. For others apply for e-Visa here https://evisa.gov.vn/ Process time approx 3-5 business days. For those needing urgent visa then apply with one of the agents listed on net.

True however you spend time out of Thailand. Some people try for another visa exempt via air after couple nights out. Personally thing you will be ok. Perhaps given a warning ....."last one" You could consider safe entry service. Comes at a cost ~ 4500b https://www.facebook.com/share/1V4UMpb27x/

I don't follow the dates even though you clearly listed them. When was most recent time in Thailand and for how long that visit. How long out of Thailand till next entry.

Overstay question
Personally, would do it day or two prior. Earlier they may date the 7 from day of application. Yes not nice. As you would be aware ...each day of overstay is 500b. Some folk needing 2-3 days might just elect to pay the fine I risk is being nabbed. Unlikely. The OP needed 14 days . Should have done a border bounce.

O Retirement visa
Thinking he was asking about "starting over". Some posts suggesting obtaining a new non O . In any event his funds have been in Thailand for some time so he could start over.

O Retirement visa
The financial compliance is checked retrospectively. When the OP attends immigration for next extension, even if that extension is changed to based on marriage, the io will check the 800/400 compliance. My next extension (retirement) I will change to income method and will be able to show 12+ months of monthly transfers. However they will also check my compliance with the money in bank method. So both methods are run in tandem. Good explanation by Red Phoenix here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1294912-changing-extension-from-retired-to-married/#findComment-18083999

O Retirement visa
Can't seeing that working. He applied for extension based on retirement. Did not meet the financial requirements. He cannot now apply for extension based on marriage unless compliance for retirement shown for past 12 months.

Almost Refused Entry at Chiang Mai Airport -Be Warned! - 2nd Visa Exemption
Reports from 2019 at Bangkok airports are outlines. At that time even few reports of rejected with valid visa esp SETV.

O Retirement visa
No To be clear. Do you currently have a reentry permit? If you do you cannot exit to kill off the Non O. If you are clear that you didn't meet the financial requirements then I would not go to immigration. When does current permission of stay end?

Non o Visa Vientiane Laos.
They should not. This has been asked about. Folk "saving" the eVisa and entering again later to activate the eVisa. Shouldn't be possible IMO.

New Immigration Form STM.10 Affidavit of Family Relationship to Thai National
From random internet search.... "fyi - Just finished marriage visa extension at Div 1 Immigration in Bangkok - Chaeng Wattana. They requested a new form STM 10 affidavit signed by Thai wife in addition to everything else." So have wife sign it and go with the flow.

O Retirement visa
You can start over as you and post above outlined. You could opt for using agent and do the start over when it suits timing wise. Where are you located in Thailand. You could consider exit without a reentry permit and obtain non O at Thai consulate. Current thread where guy obtained Non O at Vientiane. Extremely quick turn around one day for approval. For application for Non O retirement inside Thailand you need show funds came from abroad. That is not required if you obtain the Non O eVisa outside of Thailand

Non o Visa Vientiane Laos.
Just for advice to others.... despite your experience of not requiring to show print out of eVisa to enter via land crossing for those traveling by air you must print out the visa. Airline staff need it to check against your pp and also to check if it's valid. On arrival at airport in Thailand immigration will also check it..

Latest information on extending an "o" via
@roger101 as, pointed out above. Extension of stay based on what. Meaning... Marriage, Retirement etc? Money in bank or income method? Which immigration office?

Another Lazada scam story
Sounds naive. Buy clothing online. So how much baht are we talking here. On gift to smaller Thai friend and move on.

Non o Visa Vientiane Laos.
The ME was perfect option for roster workers. Oil/gas and mining for one example. One on month off was not suitable for Non O marriage extensions due to under consideration period.
