  1. Yes. First ever extension at CW I provided a lease. Have stayed same condo since then so no change of address required. I always have lease copy with me often not required. Seems that now CW now want most recent TM47. I provided that recently at CW for a certificate of residence. Also required for most recent extension.. Never previously. Off topic advice to anyone needing a certificate of residence at CW. Wait till your 90 day window is open for report. Book an appointment for 90 day report and same io same desk will do your report and photocopy TM47 and process your certificate of residence.
  2. Arrive visa exempt. 30day stamp + extension. Do a border bounce from Pattaya for another 30 day stamp = 90 days. Use agent for border run. Plenty of good agents in Pattaya.
  3. Of course they don't care. Did you use autofill on last online report. If online does not approve within 2'days I mail in and it's accepted even though CW state mail in 15 days prior to due date.
  4. Bit difficult for me. 10 years dealing with CW and have never provided TM30. Have never even done one. Strangely my last extension (Nov last yr) the doc check chick wanted TM47 receipt.. Never required previously
  5. You have mail in option. Use 2 B4 envelopes and CW will return all your photocopies and blank TM47. Post 15 days prior to due date. Requires a walk to post office.
  6. Umm... Where to start.. A TM30 should not be required. Bank statements from previous day/s would have been accepted. BTW the bank clerk will provide photocopy of updated bankbook. CW require update on day of application. A small deposit is best option Seems you used income method due to stuff you made using money in bank method. For my extensions based on retirement at CW I have not provided hand drawn map. The appointment system works like clockwork. Make sure you take hard copy of confirmation email. Just walk past que desk to L32 desk. Suggest to others...an appointment say 11am arrive 9am to obtain banking requirements and you will exit prior to lunch break.
  7. Thinking your post is on the money. How many threads do we have every day about asking about chances entering visa exempt with ongoing stay in Thailand . Thailand has some of most flexible options available. By contrast for example I'm Oz and only option for me to Vietnam is SETV providing 30 day stay.
  8. You have Australian pp. Visa exempt entry is 30 days via air and land/sea entries. Also extensions are 30 days. Forget obtaining tourist visa at places such as Vientiane and Saigon. Both require appointment and requires overnight stay. It's an option but perhaps not the best. Read your thread. Some experts such as BritTim have posted good advice. Think plan to fly Penang for TV bad plan.
  9. IMO you have issues expecting things run perfectly. Not in regard to my post but the one above mine. I recently had a rejection for online. . The reason given was that my address did not include Room #. The fact that all the ones prior online did not include that. I didn't bang on. Just attended CW and did report in person. Trot off to immigration and do it in person. Appointment option is available at CW.
  10. Which is pretty much the advice posted in this thread. Enjoy your stay.
  11. First up it will not take 1-2 months. The embassy and consulate websites are often out of date. More likey couple of weeks. Yes you do need to mail your pp for stamp . You should not go to Penang. Bad idea as pointed out by earlier post.. An option not mentioned so far is visa exempt entry from Oz to Bangkok + extension. Followed by border run +extension. Followed by second border run you are permitted 2 per calendar year = 5 months.
  12. Only unlimited visa exempt entries I am aware of is Malaysian pp holders. The countries that you mention receive 90 days. Seems your pp nationality is a required secret. I'm Oz. For Malaysians entering by land border, there is no limitation in issuing the 30-day visa exemption stamp. Travelers from Korea, Brazil, Peru, Argentina, and Chile will receive permission to stay in Thailand for up to 90 days under Visa Exemption. This applies to both airport and land border entries.
  13. I'm a Saigon junkie so a 3 night stay in district 1 would be my go. With only one Tourist visa in pp would be zero issues with visa exempt entry via air. Of course depends where OP is planning to stay in Thailand.
  14. OP, yes your plan would work. Personally think obtaining SETV while in Oz and doing one border run better option Of course still two trips to immigration for extensions.
  15. Clearly you don't deal with CW or live in the boonies where travel might be 50k up to immigration office.
  16. Yes. Russia has bi lateral agreement with Thailand and the 2 visa exempt by land per calendar year does not apply to them. Why not state your pp country and cut to the chase.
  17. There have been reports of cancel and resubmit being successful. If you end up having to attend CW use the appointment option. It works very well. You need to print out your appointment confirmation email.. At ticket office go to far right side. https://www.immigration.go.th/?page_id=20131
  18. Very helpful post. Thank you.. There is a big difference for ME Non O marriage. Which is a 5000b visa valid for one year vs single entry non O .
  19. That's good advice for some fields. The drop down menu is the winner. Regarding magnifying glass for autofill... So embarrassed that I did several until was alerted of that option. Another example of learn from forum advice.
  20. This question has been discussed previously. Just ONE simple requirement (in my understanding is flight from home country to Thailand) So many threads along lines of .. "I'm currently in Thailand can I go to nearby country and apply for e-Visa (eg UK citizen) and then enter Thailand. It's a loop hole to very poorly implementation of e-visa. Some folk even inquired about METV that can only be obtained in your pp country. Many folk trying to scam the intention of e-visa to Thailand.
  21. Seriously. Read @Lemsta69 post. Here is part of that ... "You can either go back to France where your French passport gives you the "right of abode" or fly to a nearby country that accepts applications from foreign nonresidents." SInce you are in Korea the best plan is to forget e-Visa and fly to country where you can apply for visa at a Thai consulate. one example would be Saigon as flights might be an option. Having French pp you can visa exempt entry to Vietnam..
  22. The Thai address means nothing. You have a French pp. The word "residency" is being misunderstood. Do you have Permanent Resident status in Thailand. I'm guessing not.
  23. Maybe next visit if you want a year grab a METV and chuck on couple of visa exempt visa entries via land.
  24. I posted this early in your thread.. "Been in Thailand ongoing 17 months. Please update with what happens re Vientiane. I wouldn't do it." OP, you made a good call and imo dodged a bullet.
